Had the opportunity to possibly live mortgage free and move to Alpine. (Unincorporated part of San Diego County) I was looking to put a manufactured home on 80 Acres out there and had no idea where to start. I started to do my homework and researched reliable companies. I found a dealer in El Cajon and right away I felt like I was on a used car lot. I left there discouraged and almost gave up the opportunity to live in Alpine. My neighbor recommended Pacific Manufactured Homes and a Google search sent me to their office in El Centro. I found the contact number and reached out to Rozlyn Brammer. Rozlyn got back to me right away and her plethora of knowledge, sense of humor, and infectious laugh put me right at ease that living in a manufactured home was doable and could be a dream come true. So I put my house in Lakeside on the market and once it sold, I started the process with Rozlyn and her business partner, Angie West. (I think they are related but I couldn't tell) Even before my previous house sold, Rozlyn stayed in contact with me and walked me through the process from day one. I drove down to El Centro and brought the cashiers check to open escrow and start the process. I have a really good "buddy" that has his contractors license so I was able to save money by having my buddy help me with the set up. Prior to picking out which model I wanted, I went to their showroom in San Marcos and every one there was extremely nice and not pushy at all. Fast forward to April, I'm living in my beautiful manufactured home built by Clayton Homes and I love it. We met with John and spoke about what we were looking for in a home, he helped us find someone to secure our loan. They also helped us with the permit process. Once the city permits were approved everything happened so fast with Pacific Manufactured homes. The permits were approved and the home was brought from the factory in less than 2 months! We purchased a 1,200 Adu from pacific homes. The whole process went smooth. They are very responsive and detail oriented. Kirk was our sales person and is very on top of things and makes sure to keep you update on the process. They have great construction companies they use. We had always seen the sales office and models of Pacific Manufactured homes in San Marcos across the street from the Business Costco. So, when we decided to add an ADU to our property, we stopped by to take a look at the models. The friendly receptionist, introduced us to our sales person, Jason Poynter. Jason showed us around and answered all our questions, and there were many. We decided on a nice 1200sq. ft. 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a den - our custom design. Jayson helped us choose the cabinet combos and appliance options. He also showed us all the options in flooring and outside colors available. There were many changes in our original plan, which Jason handled quickly and without any problem. We finalized our order for the custom ADU and soon it was delivered. Wow! The guys that brought the ADU and maneuvered it into place, knew what they were doing. That day we met our service representative Drew Arter. I wouldn't ever purchase a home a Pacific . They promised to fix the problems with my stairs even after my disabled son fell and had 3 surgeries due to the guy that they had building them . Not one step is up to code on both sides of my home . I have every single text message and phone call that was ever made and even Sean promised me that things would be taken care of and I wouldn't trust him, Tom or Drew with my life . My son spent over 40 days at UCSD in San Diego due to the fall . I had the park that I live in even come tell me that the steps aren't up to code . The problem is that I live in the Imperial Valley and they don't come down here . They have agents that lie to you and you can't even get your own financing. I asked for first time home buyers incentives and they didn't even try to help me . The guy that Pacific hired to do the work down here in the Valley is related to the agents that they have selling their homes . He destroyed my refrigerator the whole back side is dented in , they broke the wheel off and stuffed carpet padding under it so it would be level , the sink in my kitchen was so badly scratched and damaged . Drew told me that if I removed my negative review that they would repair these things and they haven't done one thing . I started my process of buying this place in December of 2023 and I didn't move in until March of 2024 . I found out that the home should have been completely finished before they ever took a dime from me but it wasn't . It was because the nephew of the main agent took off and disappeared for weeks at a time . The house wasn't even done on move in day . They wanted me to wait another month after closing to move in because it wasn't done . I could go on and on about all the things that they didn't do . But the bottom line is if you live in the Imperial Valley don't buy from them . They treat you like you don't exist . I know I lived in San Diego for 38 years and almost bought a home back in 2008 from Pacific in San Marcos the same ones that I bought this home from . They treat you completely different if you are from San Diego . Like I said I asked them several times to come and look at my place to see the damage that their employee did to my home . I asked over and over for a walk through and never got . I even had a guy from Pacific in San Marcos tell me that I must be high on drugs because they always do a walk through with their customers . When he found out that I lived in the Imperial Valley he said well that's why you didn't get a walk through . We are second class citizens to them . I have more class in my pinky than they do in their entire body .,They aren't going to be happy with the outcome . I hope they all lose their job after what they have put my son and I through . They go beyond for all the ones in San Diego but when it comes to the ones down here they don't care . I'm here to tell you all if you lived anywhere but the Imperial Valley you will be treated with respect but it's a totally different story if you live here and it shouldn't be that way . I've given them a year and I sent pics , etc to Drew days within moving in but they never did one thing that they promised and like I said they told me if I take down my bad review they would fix everything and I have that in writing . One big lie after another and my poor disabled son broke his leg and had 2 brain surgeries because of the falls that he had . I've had several construction companies measure the steps and each and everyone of them are different heights . The guy that they hired to do the job did what he wanted when he wanted . We even moved in on steps that were for construction use only . My steps didn't get done until 2 to 3 weeks after move in . They don't care . I'm only giving one star because I have no choice . Our team included our agent, Josh, and service manager, Drew, and they were both SO amazing to work with. They listened to all of our requests and always responded promptly. I felt like I was talking to someone in the throes of a high school relationship. At least he was able to include flat out falsehoods about the park manager and tell me that I had misunderstood exactly what he had wrote. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. We ordered a home from them that is a complete nightmare of defects, misaligned doors, windows, walls, every light and even the solar tube is off by over three inches. There's no insulation as ordered the tray ceilings are off center, one by over three feet. Their work and materials are cheap with beyond shoddy workmanship. Buyer beware the walls are stapled!! We couldn't find one nail when the walls came off to add insulation we were shocked. Paper thin walls originated with this company and Skyline Manufacturing. We have been trying to negotiate but the agent we worked with and the broker are completely unprofessional tyrants that refuse to even negotiate. They've locked us out of the home, have added thousands of dollars in crazy after work charges, refuse to reimburse us or credit us for all their garbage upgrades and are trying to force us into accepting a completely defective home without any concessions credits or even reimbursements. Yes reimbursements were promised when we asked to have some of the work addressed by our guys. The garage on pepper was $57,000 the charges are now over $100,000. The garage is not finished came with no lighting and is unusable. Yes over $100,000 and you cannot enter or exit without scraping the undercarriage and bumper of the cars. There's so much more. None of the contracts are fully executed, the invoices are inflated and confusing, there were numerous add on costs not disclosed or agreed to. We never signed for the garage met with the builder or even spoke to anyone from Coastline Construction. We believe they're in collusion. if we supposedly owe the garage builder over $100k why haven't we heard from him. They ruined our lot, added a slope and did not follow the site plan making the home extremely high. They did this knowing my 92-year old father would be residing there with us. Everything in the home is a complete nightmare. They consistently use unlicensed and unqualified workers to try to repair their unending mistakes, only making things work. One example an unlicensed individual was allowed to rewrite the garage and inadvertently shot a nail gun into a conduit! TWICE!! When we met with the broker to go over costs he retaliated by sending the same unlicensed individual to turn off the power! This guy accidentally shut off power to all the neighbouring houses too. To date, a year later, they've decided to lock us out and completely ignore us. Illegal activity, code violations, unlicensed workers, unprofessional behaviors and now what. All we can say is do not get involved with this company. I promise you will be sorry. We started out shopping through ma Williams located in hemet Ca and as a younger couple got laughed at about the thought of ever getting approved for a home and completely looked over. We came here and found our dream home! We met with bob lindsley and it was a complete 360 turnaround, he was so nice and helpful, he helped us literally every step of the way and got us approved for our dream house at a higher price then the home we originally got told we wouldn't get approved for. At anytime we had any concerns or issues bob was quick and attentive to help! He even drove out to our location a whole hour drive away to help us with the build and other small issues we had run into! Sean Feeney was the listed agent for a home I was trying to look at. When dealing with Pacific Homes I would strongly recommend you look for someone else to help you. His attitude and demeanor was horrible! We called him on a Saturday and he told us we could see it on Sunday ... at any time. After we arranged a time, he called back to say "the Sales office is closed on Sunday" (So we couldn't see it) The home had no occupants. The home had a realtor lock on the door. I KNEW that meant any agent could show it at any time. When I questioned that and asked for the phone number of "the Sales office" he got upset (apparently because he was caught in a lie and didn't like it) He said he would call them back. Miraculously, he called back and said we could see it on Sunday after all (He never gave us the sales office number.) We got to the property 10 minutes ahead of the appointed time and he was not there (you know... opening the place; turning on the air conditioning, etc) Instead, he called and said he couldn't make it for 1/2 and hour. 1/2 hour later sitting in the hot sun outside the home, we left for another appointment. We texted him to say we had to leave as we had another appointment. He called us 15 minutes later to say he was there and was wondering where we were. We reiterated that we had to leave as we had an appointment and we made our appointments on time. He got all upset ... at us! Let's see: 1st - He claims we can't see it when we can. 2nd - He never gave us the # to the sales office. 3rd - He didn't show up at the appointment time and didn't call until 10 minutes before (after we had arrived). 4th - He still didn't show up 30 minutes later as stated. 5th - he got all upset because we said we had to leave because we had an appointment and we make our appointments on time. It should have been simple process. - I already had my preapproval. - I had already seen the outside of the home. - The deal would probably have been done by now. - Instead, the house is still sitting there unsold. .... but I don't care to work with Sean Feeney again so I guess I will have to look elsewhere. read more

They have a tiny home with a full kitchen that has a kitchen sink, larger than a lot of homes. This review is long overdue. I love my new Silvercrest home from Pacific Manufactured Homes! I had found an empty lot in a mobile home park and went to PMH and met with Nancy Feeney to discuss having a home put on that lot. After touring the models, I knew what I wanted. It was a little slow at first working with Nancy, but then everything came together perfectly! Nancy helped me find a company to provide me a second mortgage on the home I inherited. Next, she worked with me on redesigning the home to fit the lot and all of my requests. We added details, took away features, and we moved pieces, and all the time Nancy was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient with me. She worked with my ideas, suggested some design changes, and helped me see how it would all come together. She was always available to me, or returned my calls or texts promptly. When we went to go inquire about building an ADU on our property, we walked in and met Josh. After our first meeting, I was convinced that we didn't even need to shop around. It took just over a year from start to finish and Josh walked us through every single step of the way, even when we were out of the country. Some people think mobile homes are a bad idea, but I think it can be amazing for the right people in the right situation. I have been throwing away money on rent for many years, but I just couldn't afford a regular home, where I lived. So I bought my Manufactured home through Joe in 2016. Seven years later, he helped me sell it for twice what I paid for it. Now I'm able to use that money to help pay on a home where I own the lot. I can't speak for everyone at Pacific Manufactured Homes but as for Joe Feeney, he's a guy you can trust. When searching for a manufactured home, we checked out several places throughout north county. We had settled on another place as their homes were affordable. When I took my uncle and grandfather to view the homes, they said the quality was awful for the home we had settled on, and insisted on going with Pacific Manufactured for their workmanship. I come from a family of general contractors, so they know what they're talking about. They pointed out a lot of details I had missed on my initial walkthroughs. After deciding to go with Pacific, we were introduced to Joshua Hobbs to help us complete this project. He met with us multiple times, and spent hours with us helping design our perfect home. He had a lot of great ideas and suggestions. I never get like he was trying to upset us, but rather assist us in designing the perfect home for our family. He even pointed us in the direction of an outside granite company as they did not have the color I preferred. He helped us edit our floor plan which included some pretty major changes and moving walls, widening hallways, and making the space perfect for us. Unfortunately, just as we were about to sign paperwork to release to production, we had some major unexpected life changes. These circumstances put us in a position to have to pull out of the entire project. We were heartbroken, but Josh was understanding. He assisted us on getting a refund for the escrow fee we had paid. We were not able to recoup the engineering fee, as the manufacturer had already done the work to engineer our updated floor plan. We're hopeful we'll be able to move forward on this project at a later date with the floor plan that has already been designed. read more

They have ill formed sales people on the end result of your home. So stressful to work with sales people and the owner, Sean, tries to bully you to accept his building mistakes NO checklist is provided to you on what to expect when, incorrect timelines are promised. The quality is terrible, Pac Homes contracts are incomplete with not much of any detail. I am so disappointed with how many emails were sent, so many phone calls to correct things. They don't have good relations with their manufactures or any control over when things happen and the quality of things. I was told in a blanket statement, outside of customizing some things we wanted out of the home that all else will be delivered as in the model. This is a lie. They tell you the crescent edge you see when in the model is what you will receive and delivery happened with sharp ended countertops and you get told, "oh, that is discontinued from what you see in the model" the manufacture, Fleetwood can't provide that. This is a list of most things wrong or difference from what we bought- Windows in wrong places, it took 2 months to get a window placement corrected. They want you to pay up front prior to delivery and for the customer to sign stating your home was delivered and in correct order- we refused and almost cancelled the entire order due to bullying and disregard to have your home built correct to plan and contract! Cabinets ordered in wrong colors Ripped underpayment that was delivered with peeling off tape Pantry doors not what was ordered Cheesy "utility" sink for a kitchen sink delivered all scratched and replaced after 3 months with same terrible quality.
