The new mobile home began to be a NIGHTMARE!!! But Tom and All around saved us from the results of a company of Double-dealing, deceitful people. who pretended to sell a beautiful home. We thought it was acceptable, but In time things began happen!!! Electrical current was miswired! New refrigerator, micro, and TV burned out. Then the supports began to twist, move up and down, home shakes. We discovered the company never bothered to inspect foundation work or measure incorrect wiring. The result was messing with our sense of place. We were feeling Disgusting spending all this money. But eventually repaired the floor frame thanks to Tom! He was patiently explaining experiences related-can't thank him enough-worth it! I am a state licensed plumber, and have new construction experience in residential, but I was in the dark until Tom's crew came and handled this. It's more difficult than I thought. It's a raised, jack supported structure. He used a laser level; discussed the bending in the I Beam, and need for jacks to carry the load evenly. His guys spoke about and repaired each individual problem this errant company sold us! The result was a New home liveable the way it should be. So far so good. Had a nightmare experience with another mobile home company and the foundation repair and leveling. I asked all around to come out and check the level and while there Tim gave us very important info about our water heater. We already knew it wasn't up to code but what exactly that means hadn't been explained to us before. Also nightmare company claimed to find and fix the leak without ever addressing with us that was a temporary band aid. So we knew the work needed to be done and Tim's evaluation was Much more thorough. My husband did want another estimate and the second estimate sounded initially cheaper but they were also downplaying everything else that we knew needed to be replaced when doing this job so ultimately we felt most comfortable with all around. The job was done seemingly well. Tim and his employees actually went above and beyond to provide the best service without needing any complaints first (can't say the same about other companies we've dealt with) Tim seemed fair, genuine and knowledgeable. I will update my review if anything changes. It's been real difficult trying to find a legitimate Contractor lately who has the skills, experience, and is licensed and ensured, and more importantly is reasonable during all the price hikes of supplies now. Well Tom was referred to me by my Drywall contractor who doesn't recommend many people unless he knows there legit. Let me tell you, Tom was extremely easy to work with, reliable and very knowledgeable about mobile homes. we hired Tom to re-pipe (PEX) the entire home including new shower valves, larger laundry drain line, upgraded gas (propane) lines. His Journeymen "Abel" even corrected the HVAC and water heater drain lines that were Mickey Moused from the previous "Un-licensed" Un-skilled guys. I had a serious mold problem so once removed there was a lot of work. After 3 estimates I went with Tom at All Around. Tom did the most extensive inspection I've ever seen. At least an hour. So besides that, how he treated me and estimate I went with them. He sent Robert over to do the work. The man is a genius. He takes pride in is work. I got three bids for work to re level my home. Nothing had been done n 21 years. I wrote a review about Tom in March of 2019 and I have to submit an update over 1 year later. I actually woke up last night and thought to myself I have to do this. I forced Tom to take $50 from me for crawling under my house and fixing a problem that another company said would cost me over $10k. WOW is all I can say. Tom came out and gave me a bid. I'm reluctant with hiring contractors right away and do everything I can to protect myself from those that try to take advantage of women and the elderly. I got three bids for replacing the pier supports, pads and earthquake bracing my mobile home. Please understand, this was my first home purchase ever and I hope to stay here for a long time.... but I am also aware that I may need to sell at some point. I have a lot of work that needs to be done and Tom was very honest and forthright with me and told me what he could and couldn't do after I gave me my very lengthy list (most of which are "wishes"). Anyway, after evaluating everything, and researching licenses and looking at Yelp reviews, I decided to go with this company. I liked Tom.... and he was not at all "scared" that I was going to "check out the company". I had other contractors out here to give me bids and some "walked away - not submitting a bid" when I told them that they must pull permits and that I would be "reviewing them". One guy even had the audacity to tell me that I didn't need to ask everyone for a bid (I was getting 3 - minimum). Tom's price not only came in lower, but I felt very confident with him. His team arrived on time on Thursday and finished up on Saturday. The took the requisite 1 hour lunch (and never asked to use the bathroom -- something that I would never, ever, tell someone they couldn't do) and got right back to work. When they were getting ready to leave on the 2nd day, I went to open my back door and found that it was difficult and then I couldn't close it. Under the house he went and fixed the "level" so I could close the door. Then, later that night, I discovered my porch was off (I have cement steps leading up to the porch) by about 1/2 inch, causing a trip hazard. I put a note on it because I didn't someone to get hurt. The next day, the guys arrived and I told them and the lead guy (I think his name is Abel) said, "I saw the note"... Said he'd fix it - no problem. Everything was completed by 1 p.m. on Saturday and they left. Then about 30 minutes later, I discovered my house phone wasn't working..... no dial tone.... called Tom right away and he thought maybe something was wrong in the park... I checked our community website and nothing was posted. He sent the guys back... they were just getting ready to get on the freeway.... I figured something must have been knocked loose. Turns out that a connection on the outside was the problem... and one they took responsibility for and fixed (they had the part in the truck). I was so impressed!! Inspector was out this past week and passed.... Permit signed off. Now I get to reduce my earthquake insurance premium. I just wish my mobile was closer to him so he could do all the work for me.... He doesn't do roofs but did give me a recommendation. He's reviewing my list again and will let me know if there is anything else he can do for me.
