After meeting with Adam and several other contractors, I decided to go with Patio Guy not only…read morebecause of his five-star rating, but several other factors that were important to me (and probably you as well): 1) He could deliver and install my new cover within a week vs. the other guys taking months; 2) I wasn't limited to just the AlumaWood product (which wasn't modern enough for me), and (3) his price to install with an upgraded cover (insulated) was far below his competitors constrained by higher overhead and slower delivery times. I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

Adam came down next day for a detailed quote and Brody and team build new patio up in less than two days a couple weeks later. Would have been one day but they had to remove my old leaking patio otherwise it would have been one day job. 40 ft × 11 ft are dimensions for new patio which adds significant amount of usable patio space for us. Only regret is that I didn't do this years ago. Price, professionalism, communication, demo, build and clean up were all amazing. Highly recommended and would absolutely use again.

Our technician/ representative Jason came out right on time and was super helpful in guiding us toward the longest-lasting designs and colors. He also clearly demonstrated where the sun would be entering the windows during different times of the year so we could see what awning length and placement would work best. Production and delivery/ installation happened right on schedule too and the installation was smooth and fast. During the recent windstorm we forgot to retract the awning and it was damaged. I first called the original installer, and unfortunately the experience was very disappointing. The first thing they told us was that the damage wouldn't be covered because we didn't retract it during the wind storm, and the customer service was extremely rude. It also reminded me how difficult it was working with them in the first place, they gave us the runaround for almost 6 months before the original installation. After that, I reached out to Where Shade Is Made, and the difference was night and day. I spoke directly with the owner, who assured me I would get a call Monday morning to schedule the repair. Sure enough, Monday morning I received a call from Jimmy their GM, and from that point on everything was smooth and professional. By the very next day our shade was repaired and working perfectly again. Even better, Jimmy let us know that the repair didn't require as much work as originally expected, which actually made the final cost lower than the quote. It went AWESOME! From the moment Tom came out to do the initial evaluation, to the crew doing the work, to completion. We are dedicated to giving as much accurate feedback as possible as we know others depend (just like we do) on previous customers experiences. We hope our feed helps. Tom, the owner: Very down to earth, professional, experienced and honest. He went under our home and gave us honesty of which was a breath of fresh air considering our fears. He could have easily said this is wrong, that is wrong... But instead he said this is what needs to be done and that does not need to be done. He expressed even if he did this, it would not fix that... He gave details of what he seen under the home and this is what it will cost, this is what I seen and it is just fine no worries. Cost factor was not the reason we chose him. We chose him as he explained everything, even explained things that did not pertain to why we needed him to come out, he explained the good about what he seen, the downer to what was seen, his honesty, personality, he was not pushy on hiring him. To say we were very confident and very comfortable. His way of business is not just business and through him, as well as his workers, his words at the initial evaluation proved true. He and his guys took care of family :). To his crew: They showed up on time, even after their distant drive. They were AWESOME! Smiles with greetings, great personalities and explained what they were going under the home to do. They were prepared. They were professional and each step of the way, they would let us know and even with "Ok you guys are gonna hear some really loud noise, it will be us doing... Clean up, oh my gosh, these guys are neat and tidy. They left nothing behind, not even dirt from their garbs they wore. They didn't dilly dally around either. They took a quick break, during the break it was down to earth talking. There are no negatives at all. We needed to have our manufactured triple-wide re-leveled. We called this company after reading their reviews on Yelp. Had to leave a voicemail. Tom called back, but we work weird hours and we missed him. We played phone tag for a few days, then finally spoke and arranged an initial visit. He drove the 30 plus miles to us the next day, a Friday. He talked to us at length, inspected the underneath of our home, discussed with us about what he had found and how the problems could be fixed. He quoted us for a basic remedial job, and also for some prudent preventive measures. All in all, at an extremely reasonable price. We accepted and we arranged the work for some time the following week. He said he would call us to confirm when they could fit us in. Tom called us early the next morning, and said two of his men would be here on the following Monday. He told us their names and what time they would arrive. They were here on time. They worked solidly, then told us they were leaving for lunch. Came back, carried on, and finished the job. One of them came into the house to check all around and called instructions to his mate under the house where tweaks were still required. The corrections were made there and then. Our house now feels absolutely solid. Inside four days we were inspected, quoted and the work was done to our complete satisfaction. It seems to be in our nature to quickly complain when the services of a business does not meet our satisfaction. On the other hand, often times we fail to properly acknowledge a business when that organization performs above and beyond our expectations as in the case with ALL AROUND MOBILE HOME SERVICE. Prior to renovating a previously owned mobile home, my wife and I shopped around for a company who could handle the task of "re-leveling" such structures. After contacting various...so called professional...companies in Southern California who left us feeling as though we were being pressured into paying them an outrageous fee for what they claimed we needed, further shopping lead us to Tom Warren, owner of All Around located in Murrieta, Ca. The professional manner in which Tom addressed our needs, quoted a "realistic" bid and subsequently worked with his efficient and courteous crew in performing the task, exceeded our expectations. Living in an area of the U. S. subjected to frequent ground tremors it's reassuring knowing that as part of Toms agreement, All Around returns every year for five years or every other year for ten years for free re levels. Not only does Tom and his crew re level mobile homes, they are very capable of tackling any minor to major jobs related to the proper maintenance of such structures. We were having problems closing doors and with a musty grey water smell under our modular home and did not know who to call. My wife checked out the reviews on yelp and had contacted several services. After talking to Tom on the telephone she liked his answers and decided to use his services even though we live in Ventura county. He took the time to drive to our house and performed the inspection and unknown to us the grey water pipes had been leaking under the home and had corroded the jacks and rotted the piers under one side of the house. Tom discussed our options with a written estimate that was more than acceptable. The crew came all the way up from Murrieta to perform the support and plumbing damage and repaired the damaged vapor barrier as well as leveled the complete home all in one day. The follow-up customer service has been disappointing, unfortunately…read more After waiting several months to have leaks in my new awnings addressed, and after experiencing multiple rainfall events that clearly demonstrated the system installed by Home Improvements by Tim Allard is not adequately configured to handle the water load, I contacted the office and sent several text messages to Tom. Unfortunately, the response time for follow-up service has been extremely delayed--measured in months rather than days or weeks. The gutters on the awnings installed by Home Improvements by Tim Allard overflow significantly during normal rainfall. Before purchasing and installing the two 62-foot awnings, I specifically asked whether the system would be capable of handling the expected surface water runoff. I was assured that it would. However, it does not. Eventually, Scott returned to inspect the issue and acknowledged both the overflow problem and the need for an additional downspout. I purchased these awnings with the expectation that they would include a complete and properly designed drainage system capable of performing their intended function. I am now being told that I must pay an additional expense to install the downspouts necessary to make the system function adequately. This is not what I was originally told, and it raises a concerning question: Why would a system be sold and installed if it was not sufficient for the job from the start? I trusted Home Improvements by Tim Allard to provide a complete solution. Instead, the project remains incomplete, and I am left with overflowing gutters--a problem that did not exist with my previous system. I believe this issue should be corrected without additional cost to me, as the current configuration does not meet the expectations that were established at the time of sale. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly and fairly.

In August of 2023, I hired Quad County MHS to remediate the crawl space under my pre-fab home. We…read morefound a leaking gas line in addition to dampness and lack of insulation and a vapor barrier. They installed a sump pump to keep the crawl space dry. I paid over $30,000.00 for all this work. It came with a transferrable lifetime warranty. Here it is in April of 2025 and I am selling my house. I called for a pre-inspection and it was found that the sump pump was installed incorrectly. A second inspection ordered by the buyer found the same issue. I contacted Quad and asked them to send someone out to re-install this sump pump correctly. They never called me back. I am not surprised. They will never make this right. I am attaching the inspectors' reports. UPDATE I just got a call from Harry. The email address that I send my request to was no longer in use. They had not seen it. Harry said that they will make this right. I am moving in 10 days. Stay tuned.
