if you're debating trying TMS, this is your sign to just send it!…read more i've battled depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation ever since i was in elementary school. i truly thought there was no hope at the end of the tunnel since SSRI's didn't help me either. my boyfriend had done 2 rounds of TMS before me and strongly encouraged me to try it, sort of as a hail mary, so i found anew era through yelp & set up a consultation i had an initial convo with doctor john. i never saw him again after that, but he essentially screened me to make sure i'm a candidate for this process. after getting approval, i did run into some insurance issues that delayed starting for a few months, but i don't blame anew era for that at all. in fact, they were giving insurance constant pushback and keeping me updated pretty much the entire time, even though this was around the holiday season my main technician was sara. she is AMAZING! nailed the placement of the machine every time and kept up with my life every time i came in (i didn't get to say bye during my last sessions so sara if you see this, thank you for everything & if you ever want a tattoo, please let me know :-)) at the end, they gave me a folder with a sweet card and a printout of my (decreased!) scales. they said i'm welcome to come back if i need it since, for some people, TMS isn't a one and done kind of thing it won't completely cure your depression and anxiety (i'm still coming to terms with the fact that nothing really ever will), but it'll do a damn good job at helping you manage it

It was closer to me and much more room in the office spaces. I've always had a feeling of being able to talk with them on a personal level (Basically me talking about me and my up to date drama) and on a mental health level. The associates in the TMS office have been good with communicating with me and my medication manager. If there was any conflict with my schedule, they were always very helpful and accommodating with rescheduling my appointments. Any issues on placement of the TMS machine on my head have been resolved because I have a sensitive pain threshold. They've always been patient with me and vice versa. I like how they have a tv in the room as a distraction so the time goes by quickly since it isn't a comfortable process. The level of care has always been (and will continue to be) high. Personally, I haven't felt a need to schedule TMS sessions for a while now but my past experiences have always been great! 10/10 would recommend :) My medication manager, Stephanie Levine (Manurang) has always been super supportive and friendly. She's in the Orange location and we do Zoom sessions, which is very convenient. I've been a patient in the office for 5 years and only had a problem with John, the medication manager ( I forgot his last name at the moment). I think we didn't see eye to eye in my medication therapy, but he was always friendly. I know my body and have been on medication since '13 with a different office back then. I'm very familiar with what medications I benefit from and don't. I was diagnosed with Bipolar Type 2 with a different doctor when I lived in Ventura County. The diagnosis is still the same even though I switched doctors since I moved. I'm happy with their treatment and services and will recommend 10/10.

The easy part was getting on the schedule and giving them my card information and then after my first appointment with Carolyn love which was four Fridays ago. It has just been a runaround. At the end of my initial appointment the therapist told me that she would put me on the schedule for the following Friday. We agreed on a time that worked that Friday came and I never got a call. I called the following week asking for another appointment again. I was left with no one giving me a call these next two Fridays so I've gone a month without help and it was something and it is something I feel that I desperately need you are dealing with people's mental health, and the fact that I was so neglected and uncared for really hurts my heart and I hope I'm the only person that has experienced this with this business. I sincerely hope you guys learn your lesson from me and please do better because I know if it was somebody more sensitive than I there could've been worse consequences for the neglect.

She has been prescribed benzodiazepines from a variety of her providers in the past. She states that she's had a Rx for them about 20 years now. The provider she saw from this office also had her on benzodiazepines, but recently moved out of the area. She refilled my mom's Rx for 60 days to bridge the gap of a provider change. My mom's first apt with her new provider was scheduled for late September via tele-health. No call! When she asked about it she was told that she had no appointment by reception & that she didn't pay her co-pay by billing. A new appointment was set & credit card number was provided. Again, no call!!! Again, she didn't pay her co-pay. Remember, they had the card # & my mom's authorization. B U T, it gets better! Billing tells her today that they won't let her speak with a provider until she pays what she owes. What does she owe? Nothing! She has already paid the out-of-pocket max, so there is/was no co-pay!! They cancelled 2 months in a row because of bad billing management. In an effort to avoid reports of elder abuse, a 'provider' called her today. If she wants to continue seeing them, he will prescribe her a new med. she should COLD TURKEY benzodiazepines that's she's taken 20 years. Please Google the consequences of that proposition. It's not good. I read their website, the CEO boasts the practice has won awards & they spearhead new treatments. I'm left wondering what award is given to providers who direct their patients/clients to do something that countless medical sources advise can cause seizures, delirium tremens (DT), catatonia, hallucinations, psychosis, suicide, & death?????? If you're looking for a new mental health provider, I encourage you to keep looking.

I've been to highly regarded therapists who spread out meetings for months, consuming unnecessary time and investment. His superpower is that he epitomized complete altruism with laser sharp discernment and focused attention that facilitated deep healing of emotional wounds so buried I didn't even know they existed. He also leaves the door open for further growth and healing without feeling locked into a contractual relationship. Honestly he should patent his Method for all coaches to follow! This will be long so here is a quick summary: denied the right to medical privacy; pharmacies…read morerefuse to fill prescriptions from this clinic because of its reputation; attempted patient abandonment; and providers using fake names to avoid accountability. Read on for details. - They shared my private health information with others outside the clinic without my knowledge or consent, and stated to me that this is their standard practice. This was unacceptable, extremely distressing, and not what I agreed to when I initially signed up for their services. As of Oct 2023, SC has now updated its notice of privacy practices to officially declare that they can reveal your private health information (such as your diagnosis, medications, and other details) to people outside the clinic without your consent. Also that your information will be used for medical research purposes without your consent. It is further stated that patients do not have the right to insist on limits regarding the use or disclosure of their information and that the clinic "does not tolerate clients who make demands." - Various pharmacies refused to fill prescriptions from providers here because this clinic is considered "a red flag," to quote what several pharmacists told me. SC has a reputation as a "pill mill." I wasted a ton of time trying to find a pharmacy that would actually fill things from here; my time would have been better spent finding a reputable provider elsewhere. - I saw the provider known as "Yelaina," who uses this fake name (not her legal name, aka the one she is licensed under and prescribes from) to prevent people from looking up her licensing info and healthcare reviews. Just one more thing that makes this clinic questionable. Anyway, this provider attempted patient abandonment with me which is an incredibly stressful and triggering scenario to go through. SC's VP Katherine was made aware of the situation and chose to defend it, did not offer any solutions (not even offering to switch me to another doctor) and encouraged me to leave the clinic if I didn't like the fact that this provider tried to suddenly and unethically terminate my care. Sadly, I am far from the only one who has experienced attempted or actual patient abandonment at SC, which you will notice if you read through their reviews here and elsewhere. - In sum, SC's focus is solely on profit and they make that very clear through the way they treat patients. To this clinic, we are disposable - nothing but a dollar sign. This is a despicable way to treat human beings who have trusted you with something as important as their medical care.
