So as my go to guide I yelped it! And up popped Kusher Bakery. You know I had to go and today we went there. It's an Eastern European bakery, and grocery store with products from multiple Eastern Europe countries. The selections are very good and then there is the bread baked daily except on Sunday. A bonus is the fact all the fresh baked bread can be sliced for you or you can take it home and slice it yourself. Having this service is great. Dark rye, 12-grain, and others that are....... well too many and all looked delicious. There is fresh baked Lavash, soft and delicious and many of the breads were still warm and fresh. The fresh piroshki! Awesome to say the least, Chicken, Cheese, Cabbage, and Apricot were available and hot. Look you can go to the other market on 70th and get very good stuff and pay quite a lot more, or go to Kusher and get a better selection and pay reasonable prices. Yes it is smaller but bigger is not always better and having this small place is a positive. For me Kusher wins hands down. So go, look around and get some awesome stuff.

My vegan friends who came to visit stopped by here twice during their time here and said it was the best vegan cake they've ever had. I love seeing what new cake slice flavors they release each month. I've tried lots of different flavors but my absolute favorite is pumpkin. I wish it was all year long! Best pumpkin cake I've ever had. You really cant go wrong with any flavor. The cake is so moist and flavorful, you can tell they use high quality ingredients. The staff is always really friendly and helpful and really nice. It's truly the best dessert stop!

Spouse had a cheese cheddar scone - warm it when you get it home. I tried the vegan layered butter cream espresso cake - didn't care for it, to me it's a bit veganish - it just wasn't that good and not much espresso taste. I will make a better homemade cake to me that was a fail. Even for $12. A slice I won't eat it. I'm sure some of the others must have been better. You order, you stand and wait and still are guilted into at least a 15% tip. They don't have adequate parking and most is paid parking to run on and get a sweet treat . The pride flags - June is over - I think it might be an LGBTQ bakery, I didn't see one man working. It's larger than it appears, not for the customer area. It's clean, and the cashier is friendly enough. I disagree for having to feel I need to tip when I pay to park and walk 50 steps, and have to stand and wait for my order. I saw another poor review posted on the wall and then it was recindered (maybe after public humiliation they marked it thst way, I wasn't impressed with that it seems like bullying. My review will probably end up on the wall, but that's cool. I doubt I will be back.

(Updated Rating)…read more UPDATE: I am updating my review because Farm 12's customer service completely blew me away! After my initial review, management proactively reached out to make things right. Not many restaurants take active measures to leave a better impression, and I 100% want to support their incredible service. We returned on a Monday at 11:30 AM and had a spectacular experience. The weather was beautiful, so we enjoyed the stunning outdoor seating area by the fountain and florals. Because it was a quieter weekday, we were seated immediately, our server was incredibly kind and attentive, and our food came out in just 15 minutes! We ordered the Fried Cod and French Fries, which was fried to absolute perfection (perfect batter, crispy outside, soft/warm inside). The fries were spectacular, too. I only wish the sides of coleslaw and pickles were a bit larger. We also had the Salmon Farro Bowl, which featured beautifully cooked salmon and a nice medley of veggies and avocado. It was a little bland for my personal taste, but it is a fantastic, clean option for health-conscious diners. My first visit was clearly just a fluke due to a busy weekend crowd. I truly appreciate their proactiveness in reaching out, the beautiful ambiance, and the excellent food. I will definitely be visiting again!

The truffle fries were excellent. It was crispy, well seasoned, and not greasy. They had a nice truffle flavor without being overpowering. Unfortunately, the French dip was disappointing. The bread was toasted to the point that it was hard, making the sandwich difficult to enjoy. More importantly, the beef was very sparse for a $28 sandwich. It was advertised as chuck eye, but the meat I received was very lean and dry, lacking the tenderness and richness I'd expect from that cut. Based on this meal, I wouldn't order the French dip again. The fries were the highlight of the plate, but the sandwich wasn't worth the price.

She makes beautiful cakes!…read more Here was my problem: We were having a small 75th birthday party for my grandma - I was originally expecting about 15 people. I couldn't find a baker who would make something!! Several places (the ones that either actually answered the phone or returned a call) very snootily told me "we don't DO cakes that small." WTF...if I'm willing to pay, you should care less how big it is! Jacqui was prefectly nice and helpful. I had probably spent hours looking at different cake pictures to get an idea of what I might want, I sort of explained to her what I might want, and she had this great idea which was different than what I had thought about, but after thinking it over for a day or so, I thought her idea would be amazing and it was! My grandma almost cried when she saw her beautiful cake. It was a white basket with light pink roses. The actual cake was delicious. It was chocolate cake - the actual cake was dense yet melty and flaky, I'm not explaining it right, it was just a perfect cake texture! We had a butter cream between the three layers and fondant to make the "basket" texture. She did pink sugar roses - they were perfect and my grandmother LOVED it!! OH yeah, the fondant did taste good. Props to a nice lady making a delicious, beautiful cake!

We decided on a custom option lemon blueberry cake with raspberry swirl and buttercream frosting. It was as delicious as it sounds! And the price was very reasonable.
