My experience with Dr. Jonathan's office was great. When i called to scheduled an appointment they where able to get me in as soon as the next day. When I showed up the front desk was very receptive and the check in process was simple. Once I was called into the back I was taken into a room and almost immediately taken for my x-rays. Dr. Jonathan was with me very quickly after that. He saw my jaw fracture and saw that I needed something done promptly so he contacted Dr. Isaac. Dr. Isaac coordinated with me to explain surgery. I was exceptionally impressed Once surgery was finished. You can tell Dr. Jonathan, and Dr. Isaac truly love what they do. When I came in for my 1 week post op check. I recently had a very difficult extraction of a cracked old root-canal molar performed by Dr. Nicholas Nikchevich, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. I have been afraid of dentists since childhood, so I was understandably nervous about having this tooth removed. Dr. Nikchevich made the entire experience remarkably comfortable. I had nitrous oxide (laughing gas) along with local anesthetic, and I was completely comfortable throughout the procedure. The extraction itself was much more complicated than expected because I apparently have what my mother used to call "roots that go all the way to China!" My roots were extremely deep and broke into small pieces, so Dr. Nikchevich had to work carefully to remove everything. Throughout the entire procedure he repeatedly asked me if I was OK or wanted to take a break. I kept telling him, "No break -- I'm fine!" Dr. Nikchevich warned me that my face might swell, that I might have bruising, and that my jaw might ache afterward. None of that happened! He prescribed a pain reliever, but I only needed three pills during the first two days and didn't need it after that. I will be getting an implant from him in three months. What impressed me just as much as his surgical skill was his thoughtfulness. He called me several times at home afterward just to make sure I was doing OK. That kind of personal follow-up is extraordinary. I have been seeing dentists for 78 years, and I can honestly say that Dr. Nikchevich is one of the very best I have ever encountered -- both professionally and personally. A+ and a gold star! I would give him ten stars if I could. If you are nervous about oral surgery, I especially recommend him. He is extraordinarily skilled, compassionate, reassuring, kind, and genuinely cares about his patients.

They were extremely competent and well trained. Masters of their craft. With amazing people skills to boot. Their systems and equipment were also excellent. Lack of Communication and Privacy Violations (First Surgery) Before my first procedure, I did not meet Dr. Ozaki prior to entering the operating room. Approximately 20 students were present during the surgery, and I was not asked for consent to have this many observers. This made me feel like a test subject rather than a patient. 2. Poor Surgical Outcome The first surgery resulted in a crooked nose and a noticeable black line on my forehead. I did not observe any improvement in facial feminization. Due to these unsatisfactory results, I sought a revision surgery with Dr. Ozaki. During the consultation, Dr. Ozaki appeared visibly annoyed when I raised my concerns. 3. Failure of Informed Consent (Second Surgery) The most concerning issue occurred immediately before my second procedure. While I was in bed and already sedated, I overheard Dr. Ozaki ask a nurse, "Do you guys tell her we're going to use cadaver tissue?" Dr. Ozaki then informed me they would use cadaver tissue to repair my nose. Due to the sedation, I was unable to respond, object, or provide informed consent. Material risks and tissue types should be disclosed well before a patient is medicated for surgery. 4. Final Outcome and Professional Impact Six months have passed since my second surgery, and I still see no improvement in facial feminization. I underwent two painful and costly procedures without positive results. In my experience, Dr. Ozaki's demeanor and treatment were unprofessional, dismissive, and discriminatory toward transgender patients seeking gender-affirming care.
