Worst experience. Not knowledgeable enough. Messed up my oral surgery. Would not recommend. Run the other way.

They both are excellent oral surgeons; I was treated by Dr. Nicholas Nikchevich. I recently had a very difficult extraction of a cracked old root-canal molar performed by Dr. Nicholas Nikchevich, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about him. I have been afraid of dentists since childhood, so I was understandably nervous about having this tooth removed. Dr. Nikchevich made the entire experience remarkably comfortable. I had nitrous oxide (laughing gas) along with local anesthetic, and I was completely comfortable throughout the procedure. The extraction itself was much more complicated than expected because I apparently have what my mother used to call "roots that go all the way to China!" My roots were extremely deep and broke into small pieces, so Dr. Nikchevich had to work carefully to remove everything. Throughout the entire procedure he repeatedly asked me if I was OK or wanted to take a break. I kept telling him, "No break -- I'm fine!" Dr. Nikchevich warned me that my face might swell, that I might have bruising, and that my jaw might ache afterward. None of that happened! He prescribed a pain reliever, but I only needed three pills during the first two days and didn't need it after that. I will be getting an implant from him in three months. What impressed me just as much as his surgical skill was his thoughtfulness. He called me several times at home afterward just to make sure I was doing OK. That kind of personal follow-up is extraordinary. I have been seeing dentists for 78 years, and I can honestly say that Dr. Nikchevich is one of the very best I have ever encountered -- both professionally and personally. A+ and a gold star! I would give him ten stars if I could. If you are nervous about oral surgery, I especially recommend him. He is extraordinarily skilled, compassionate, reassuring, kind, and genuinely cares about his patients.

Dr. Nikchevich is incredibly kind, professional, and reassuring. He always took time to answer my questions and make my comfort a priority. I have only been to one surgeon, but when another annoyance popped up under my tongue, I wanted to go somewhere closer to home. I was referred here yesterday, and they were able to get me in today. My issue is time-sensitive as the recurring lesion (aka annoyance) needs to be at least somewhat present in order to be examined and then excised. Dr. Lytle was super kind, and carefully listened to what I had to say (kind of a lot, as I have chronic health conditions), and then thoroughly examined my tongue. To my surprise, I was able to have the procedure done right then and there. My treatment plan was explained to me and I was taken back into their mini operating room. I will say, their mini operating room was very impressive! It's definitely not what I was used to from my other oral surgeon. I don't react well to epinephrine which is necessary to control bleeding, especially in a highly vascular area like the tongue. Dr. Lytle went out of his way to accommodate me and use as little epinephrine as possible which really helped me to not feel bad. The procedure was over before I knew it. The worst part were the lidocaine injections under the tongue, as it's very sensitive. I was numb before I knew it and couldn't feel anything after, which is what matters! The women assisting him were all very nice and pleasant, you could tell they enjoy their job and work well together. I was sent home with some gauze and aftercare instructions that were also explained to me in the office. Dr. Lytle and the front and back office staff all took excellent care of me. There is a reason this practice is highly-rated! I'm looking forward to my follow-up and I am happy to have found a great oral surgery practice nice and close to home.

Everyone here treats every patient like part of the family giving the best support and care on an individual based that they can. I like how informative and helpful the care is here, especially when suffering from mouth pain and not always being able to have patience and in a good mood. (Me, not them) I'm the have the most anxiety going to an oral surgeon then anybody and great care is being able to put up with my dismissive nonchalant personality. Hello?!. It's the anxiety, not my anti social personality that makes the staff here so extra ordinary in being extraordinary.

This post is long over due…read more While the work seems solid enough, the billing is not. The pricing kept fluctuating and when I requested for a specific portion of the procedure to be billed to insurance, as had been done successfully prior, they pushed back and had all sorts of excuses. I gave up and then paid my balance IN FULL as presented to me for the prescribed service leaving me with a zero balance. As a note, the services I went in for did not change at any time - I received exactly what was initially discussed and it did not change at any time. I again asked about billing a portion of the service to insurance as it had been previously covered and they finally agreed to do so. And guess what? A balance magically appeared on my account for the amount they were going to bill even though I had already paid the balance IN FULL. So, they collected from the insurance company after I had already paid the bill. When I questioned them on it, they treated me like a moron, talked down to me and enunciated how "prices are subject to change" even though the services I was receiving hadn't changed and I had already paid in full. They got an attitude and the X-ray tech was exceptionally rough on me. When I pulled back because she was hurting me, she admonished me to "stay still" in an angry tone like I was an uncooperative child. The best part? The entire staff refused to even acknowledge or say goodbye to me when I left the office. They all saw me and turned away, all because I had questioned their corrupt billing practices. This was after I spent more than three thousand dollars with them. I have had many procedures over the years and have never experienced anything like this. If you enjoy getting manhandled, ripped off and treated poorly this is the place to go.
