His purchase cost him over $3,000.00 more than the exact same purchase I made locally, and he waited weeks for his delivery. He can afford it, but he never bought from his dealer again. I do feel their pain with the new 10% sales tax in WA, so I will try to sell some of my holdings back to them @ reasonable profit margins. He walked away 10-15feet and I didn't notice until last night he dug a tool into both of the emblems. He handed me the emblems and said don't ever fxxx return I said I won't ever don't u worry. He then began verbally assaulting me and making gang signs. I was walking to my car and he followed me to my car yelling and cussing to fight him and he had a gun and would shoot me he lifted up his shirt and showed me a black gun. My car wouldn't start and he's yelling at me to get off his property. I didn't have my cel phone it was home. I went to the Mexican restaurant and called AAA. I am 55 years old and recently became disabled. I am very respectful and I was discriminated against and he was trying to rip me off saying that the majority of the weight was in the nail. Then followed to my car and threatened to be shot. I called the Seattle police department and I was told that they couldn't get the video evidence without a warrant. When I asked the employee if this was his best offer, he replied, "This is my best offer." I later calculated the melt value of the silver they kept at approximately $5,100. I paid over $2k total to have Iron Monkey cerakote and nickel plate two of my old shotguns. It took…read moreabout 4 mo. for the work to be completed. I dropped the guns off completely disassembled and ready for media blasting. I want to be completely transparent and mention the good things as part of this review too. The employees were very friendly and easy to work with. They explained their capabilities and weighed in on what they thought they were capable of. They also gave me a $100 discount for things taking so long. They had some difficulties with the nickel plating and tried to redo it more than once, which I appreciate. They also got creative when running into problems and "brushed" the nickel plating to hide defects. On the flip side, communication was less than desirable and I had to call the shop back on 4-5 occasions because they never returned phone calls they promised. I was also a bit disappointed to see that they left one sharp defect in the trigger guard of one gun and didn't bother to file it down during surface prep. I expected more prep work for a $2k price tag. So they did minimal surface prep work overall which I find disappointing. There were also 2 chips in the new cerakote, 1 of which they said they'd touch up for me with blue. I didn't find the 2nd one until later during reassembly. While I appreciate the creativity, they never called to ask if it was okay to brush the nickel finish. They just did it. I would expect a call asking for permission to deviate from the plan we agreed upon. Even with the brushed finish you can see micro pits in the nickel plain as day. Additionally, they missed a spot completely on the trigger guard and you can see bare copper. These complaints I have are relatively minor by themselves in the grand scheme of things. What makes things completely unacceptable is the touch up job on the cerakote. Aside from the fact that this touch up took 2 days longer than they said it would, they used a sharpie marker to do the touch up instead of blue. I found out about this because the touch up spot looked very purple-colored and the employee told me not to contact the touch up with my finger. When I got home I took a q-tip with alcohol over the spot and it came right off with 1 swipe down to bare metal. I thought to do this because I read another review for Iron Monkey from another customer accusing them of doing the same thing. Bluing is a passivation process that converts the surface metal to an oxide. It does NOT wipe off under any normal conditions, including with solvents. Even if it was old chemical, it will simply not turn the metal black and would fail to work at all. I even have a bottle of Oxpho Cold Blue that is 4 years expired. I hit the bare metal spot with it and it blackened instantly and would not rub off even with acetone. I called the owner to confront them about this and was told that it couldn't be sharpie and that maybe their bluing compound had gone bad. This was a bold faced lie, or the owner doesn't know what his employees are doing. Either way is unacceptable. Given the touch up situation and fact that I paid over $2k for this work and ended up with pitted nickel and chipped cerakote I can't say I'm a very happy customer. I might have lived with the other complaints given the things that did go well, but the bluing situation tips the scale for me. Overall I rate the work as a C- at best, hence my 2 stars. This is a true story of some of the worst customer service I've ever received. I arrived at Precise Shooter and saw the store was basically empty. I told them my SIG had arrived that day via FedEx. They asked if I had received the email, and I said no, but explained that I live an hour away, happened to be in the area, and was hoping they could do me a favor. The guy behind the register gave me pushback, but eventually said he would check. From his tone and expression, it was obvious that even looking was a huge bother. He went to the back for about 30 seconds and came back saying, "There is no way we can find your package. There are 20 boxes back there, and we can't open them all up to find yours." I said, "You don't have to open them all. I have the sender's name and tracking information right here. Could you use that to identify mine?" At that point, another staff member, who had been helping the only other customer, decided it was more important to argue with me. He came across like someone who needed to show customers who was in charge. He said, "We have a process, and we can't make exceptions for everyone. We get boxes every day." I said I was nearby and thought they might provide basic customer service. His response was, "We didn't ask you to come here!" I've never heard a retail employee say that before. I replied that I don't have to shop there either, but asked whether it made sense that there were almost no customers, at least three staff members present, and they still wouldn't help one of the only two customers there. Someone in the back could have looked during the time they spent arguing. He kept repeating that it would be hard to find the package and that they don't have time to do that for everyone. My response was, "Isn't that what you do in a retail store -- help your customers so you can make sales?" I could not understand why checking about 20 packages for the sender and tracking number was treated like an impossible task. Most people could do that in a few minutes. Helping customers seemed to be the lowest priority here. By then, two staff members had spent about 15 minutes arguing that it would take too much time, even though finding it likely would have taken 3-5 minutes. I asked if it made sense to spend all that time explaining why they couldn't help me when it could have already been resolved. That's when he got even more upset and started threatening to send my SIG back to the company. That felt like a pure power move. They refused to help a customer, then were apparently willing to pay to ship the item back just to make things harder for someone who had already purchased two pistols from them. This place seems to be all about ego and control. They were willing to argue for 20 minutes to avoid helping someone, then threaten to ship the item back to the factory out of spite. I'll get my SIG from another FFL -- no worries. Other FFLs I've worked with have started the paperwork the same day with no problem. Now that I've seen how they handle this, I'll make sure people know. This is truly the kind of gun store that alienates both new and experienced shooters. P.S. The owner emailed me that I am banned from the store and that they will send my SIG back to the factory, without ever speaking to me or asking for my side of the story. Good customer service starts from the top, and in this case, there is none at any level.

Straw purchasesers typically don't come in for background checks. Then while trying to purchase a gun the staff because extremely rude after I followed instructions exactly as asked. The experience was surreal. Precise shooter has a long reputation for having "particular" sales staff and being hard to deal with and I knew this when I went in but I tried to overlook it. This industry is too challenging to accept stores that enjoy bullying their customers instead of providing great service.
