Needed some kitchen plumbing done and Austin came within the hour and performed superb work. It ended up costing less than our estimate!

Their quote came in the lowest and Brandon was extremely helpful on the phone, so I ended up choosing them. - The quote process was great: I submitted their online form, they gave me a call asking for more details, I sent them a few pictures, and they gave me another call with solutions and a quote. The quote also happened to be the cheapest of the 3 companies I got bids from. - The installation went very smoothly. I understand that direct vent water heaters are a little tricky to install, but Brandon installed perfectly. He arrived on time, got rid of our old water heater, and added a new water heater with several fixes: the overflow pipe now runs to the sink, he used a "flex vent" kit so the water heater can sit on the ground, and he put the water heater in a tray to reduce issues from slow leaks since I don't have a basement drain. - After the install, Brandon taught me how to change the temp / turn the water heater off / how to flush it / how to change the anode rod. Very pleased with the work and my new water heater is working flawlessly. The only downside was that there was no permit. I'm no expert on permits. Portland's website says that water heater changes require a permit. Brandon said it's a "gray area" for residential. I am not planning on selling the house and things looked good to me, so I don't mind too much.

This time they were out to replace a sump pump. James communicated when he was coming, arrived on time, and did the job quickly. He was friendly and talked at my level. Definitely the kind of customer service you'd expect from Cornel's. Premium price, but premium customer service and quality people. You get what you pay for! I'm keeping them on speed dial.

The one company that will will take me on will not write in a water sewer backup clause, and there is no way I would not have that coverage. Due to the bathtub faucet not being put back together correctly, I had flooding in my kitchen, bedroom closet and master bathroom. Because the tile could not be matched, the entire bathroom had to be redone. Not only did I have 6 months of disruption/construction in my house, I'm now going to pay more in insurance and I don't have the ability to change my insurance without high risk to me financially. I do not recommend this company. Nobody ever reached out to me after the damage, however they did call the Flood Pros without telling me that they had done so when I called in a panic on a Saturday night. The initial reason I called them was to fix an bathtub faucet that was dripping in the tub, and I ended up with a disaster.

This saved us thousands of dollars, major headaches, and safeguarded our crawl space for years to come. Taylor was our guy and his team (another Taylor) were super professional, easy going, and had a level of quality that's hard to find. They also went way above and beyond. While in our crawl space, they noticed a dryer duct had come unhooked - and fixed it while they were working. I really appreciate that this company never tries to upsell and shoots straight when it comes to what is a critical repair and what can wait. They also give you a range of options that don't break the bank. These specialists are truly special.

Disclosure - I AM one of "those" people who want strangers and any repair person to remove their shoes or wear booties in the house. Joel was SO nice and had them at the ready. Total professional. He was quiet, courteous and communicated what was going on. The person who installed the pipes previously installed one too short. So if you imagine if a lot of pressure occurred, the pipe separated and sprayed out water. NICE. He cleaned EVERYTHING up (and I'm picky AF y'all) there was NO trace of him being there except that the kitchen plumbing worked!!! Woohoo!!! Side note - plumbers make bank y'all it's not AI yet and I can't imagine it will be for a LONG time. If you need a job think about SKILLS like this. Plumbing and Sewer Renewal Specialists made it EASY to book via Yelp (and have the Guarantee!) They were there the next day, notified via email and text when they were on the way and Joel called as well. I could not have asked for an EASIER experience. They were true professionals and I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing Plumbing help. After all, this is NOT an issue you CAN put off but you want the best people out there to help you. And that they are.
