Second project with Nathaniel and Brass Monkey Plumbing. This was adding a utility sink in the garage. Involved tapping hot and cold water lines as well as running the drain pipe about 30-35' through the crawl space to the main house drain pipe. They took extra care to not damage new crawl space duct work and secure the sink to the wall for better stability. Exactly what I wanted - don't have to use the bath tub to clean up after painting! Project took about 4 hours plus another 30 minutes to come back after it passed inspection. Fair priced as always. read more

The main sewer line to my house needed to be replaced. After 3 bids, I chose Brass Monkey. They promptly answered my calls, listened to my concerns about the landscaping and were always very friendly. We had a 19 year old water heater that needed replacing. We've had a great experience with Brass Monkey the 2 prior times we've used them (shower and kitchen sink work). They were able to come out within a couple of days (it wasn't an emergency fix so this was fine.) The tech did a great job explaining options for the water heater and didn't push when I explained what our budget would allow for at this time. He did great work, cleaned up well and walked me through the functionality of the new tank, something I knew very little about. We spent just over $2k for a basic model and work/haul-away combined that came with their own 3 year warranty and the manufacturers longer one as well. We were very pleased with the experience yet again and while I hope we won't need to contact them soon, they'll definitely be our go-to for future plumbing work. read more

We hired BM for a bathroom remodel in our home. We would not recommend them or contract them again. We saw a low level of professional problem solving and capability. They lowered in and installed our extremely heavy bath without first checking the floor was level. Now we have a 3/4 inch tilt in our bath.
