Let me start off first by saying, I did my research and even asked for and followed up on…read morereferences given for Jorge's workmanship before hiring him. All of the reviews and references were glowing. In fact, we had, I thought, a great working relationship from 2023 up until recently. I had grown to trust him. He did many projects for my mom's house, and I planned on having him work on my house in the near future. This final and most expensive project was to install new vinyl gates. He instructed me on what to purchase, since we have a military discount at the big box hardware store. He installed the gates over a few weeks, there were a few delays due to a shortage of parts needed. It was started in January 2026, and finally completed in March. It looked okay from a distance, but as I looked closer, I noticed many flaws. I don't have to be an experienced handywoman to know that something is not right (please reference posted pictures). So I asked him to come and fix the gates, as they were unacceptable. He asked what was wrong with them, and basically I told him and showed him with the pictures I took. He said he would come by. Delay upon delay. Weeks and months later he still says he'll come by (see screenshots posted). Finally, he says he will come this Monday. We wait all day. No show. I say to him, "If you didn't want to fix the gates, just say that." Essentially, he says he's not coming, and he can give me an $850 refund. I say, great, please send it. Then he proceeds to ghost me for the next few days. It's disappointing that some people and businesses are the way that they are. I just wanted to help my mom upgrade her home and make it look nicer. Below are the key observations based on visible conditions: Left Gate: *Missing screws in several areas, compromising stability and proper assembly. *Visible foam residue on the vinyl surfaces that must be properly removed and cleaned. Right Gate: *Improper installation of the 4x4 support posts. *Use of cardboard and expanding foam as filler material between the vinyl and concrete, which is not an acceptable or durable installation method. *Gate is misaligned and does not close or latch properly. *A piece of wood was used between the concrete and the post as a makeshift support, indicating improper anchoring of the 4x4 post. *Scratches and cosmetic damage present on the vinyl surfaces. *Multiple exposed and unsealed screw holes throughout the vinyl. *Excess foam residue visible across the right side of the gate. *One post cap is loose and not securely installed. ~ In regards to the business' response: Everything I do is on my mother's behalf. I am her agent. I do the all the vetting, collecting bids, and hiring for her. The issue was not money, it was about fixing the flaws on the gates. And lastly, it was at her request that I be present if you decided to show up. We trusted you, and this is what you left us with. That is all.

The guy Gil, he has been working at this place for a good 20 years. He was very nice at first when the sales went down, obviously because he's a sales guy. This is a classic "what i wanted vs what i actually received". What was on display is COMPLETELY different than the item we received. Gil and all the other employees were no help when I complained. When i first noticed, i went back as soon as possible and Gil was not there that day. His own coworkers told me this was not the first time a customer has experienced something like this and came back complaining about Gil lying or tricking customers (seems like they were sick of cleaning up Gil's messes). By the way, Gil told me he was the owner the first day I was there (probably so he can try to sell me more), so i thought he can help make things right. However, he lied about that too!! Turns out he is only the manager who didnt have much authority to even help out. I very much had a right to be angry and when i said i wanted to return it, they said theres a 25% restocking fee and kept pushing me to take store credit even though i bought everything i needed the first day i came here. Why would i want store credit when my remodel was pretty much complete? I ended up keeping the tile because my time was of the essence and i couldnt waste time returning it and buying from somewhere else. ALSO NOTE, I pretty much had to force them to take down the deceitful display tile because I didnt want anyone else to fall victim to their scam like I did. He is a General Contractor and can basically do anything you need done from large projects to small. Once he started our job, we were his sole focus and he came every day with his team of guys he has known and worked with for many years. I had a major flood in my house from a pipe leak in the bathroom which required a total gutting and remodeling of my bathroom, new luxury plank flooring throughout the entire house, installation of 2 new French doors and then painting of the entire house. My bathroom is amazing - I turned a tub into a walk in shower and picked some challenging tiles to work with - 3 D for the shower and mosaic for the shower floor. The bathroom is gorgeous! Then it was on to removing the water damaged old wood flooring in the entire house and replacing it with LVP floors which looks fantastic. Other contractors told us we would have to move all our furniture and ourselves out for about a month at a significant cost to do this work but David said he would move our furniture from room allowing us to stay in our house. This was a lot of work for David and crew who carefully moved our furniture and "stuff" from room to room and putting everything back where it was originally. One of the most important things about David is his desire to please the customer. If you are not absolutely happy with something, he will work to make it perfect. His job satisfaction comes from the customer's happiness with the project. I cannot recommend David Gonzales enough and his professional and courteous crew.
