I went to several stores looking at appliances. I checked reviews on the appliances and of the stores. I wrote down what I wanted ( the pros/cons ) and price points. I checked this place once before and came back. When we were ready to purchase, it's nice to have a knowledgable employee to ask questions like counter-depth or the heighth?!?! Lol. I thought all refrigerators were the same size. Apparently...stoves can be different, too. It was also nice to learn about all the extras like a third drawer in a dishwasher! Who knew?!?! Lol. This was a big step because most people do not buy appliances every year. I needed to know about the energy savings to all the bells and whistles. Our kitchen remodel became a liitle more detailed due to all the new technology. Who knew you can have music playing from your fridge??? That made me laugh. After going back home with new info and back to the store with a ton extra questions we were finally ready for our appliances. After helping us with different scenarios, finding rebates, setting up with warranties, and helping with scheduling the delivery and installation...WOWZA! I recently purchased an LG washer from here & scheduled the delivery for May 5th, morning. I later got a phone call about some issues, and that they'd have to fix something. The next day I received a call stating the delivery was confirmed for the 5th. Then the 5th comes around, I just waited the whole four hour time block, called the store and they changed the delivery date without notifying me. I won't purchase from here again as I work a demanding job and don't have time to sit at home for multiple days for the same issue. read more

I purchase a new gas oven and hood range. When they delivered the stove the delivery person told me he couldn't hook it up because my gas line was too short. They were going to leave the stove in my living room but we convinced them to put it in the garage. I was so frustrated, I was ready to send it all back! Another company came to install the hood, very professional, and they connected my stove for extra $$ which I was happy to pay since the new stove was sitting in my garage anyway. Finally, after several calls to Pacific Sales they reimbursed me 1/2 the cost of the stove installation. A couple days later, Pacific Sales called me and said they would give me an extended warranty for both stove/hood for free for all my troubles. Over the course of 3 years, I've purchased my washer, dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, and most recently an over the range microwave and another dishwasher from Lori, the mastermind behind all the top sales banners that decorate the walls of the appliance section at the Best Buy in Elk Grove. Lori's customer service far exceeds the maximum 5 star rating and if I could, I would rate her 10 stars. She is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and accommodating. With my busy schedule, I don't always have the time to browse the aisles looking at all the shiny appliances (to be honest, I think 30 mins is the max time I can spend inside a Best Buy without my post traumatic stress disorder rearing its ugly head resulting from my horrific 7 year stint as a Best Buy employee...yes, you read that right...7 freaking years...at a Best Buy in the Bay Area). This is where Lori comes in...the superhero of appliance sales. I know she's just a phone call away or if I happen to stop by, I can just tell her what I'm looking for and what my budget is and get her honest opinion on whether I'm being reasonable (more like delusional...lol...I really like nice things but won't necessarily want to fork out the AMEX unless it's a screaming deal). Born with the frugal gene and realizing that I'd rather marry someone smart and kind instead of someone belonging to the 1%, Lori recommends high quality products in my price range. I also respect that Lori doesn't force you to purchase the extended warranty. She doesn't employ those cheesey salesman/woman tactics. I've purchased extended warranties for most of my appliances but not all. Last year I had to file a claim to get my washer repaired and even though it was a complete hassle, at the end of the day I was covered with the extended warranty. Just want to be clear that my review is for Pacific Sales...not Best Buy even though Pacific Sales is located inside the Best Buy store. If you need appliances, go see Lori, you won't be disappointed. Tell her I sent you. And whatever you do, don't get distracted by the shiny, overpriced, products at Best Buy...that's why the Universe brought us Jeff Bezos who gifted humanity with Amazon.com. read more

If I could give no stars I would. We bought an LG washer here. Decided to go with Pacific Sales as we were told they would give us a 45 to return or 60 days to exchange. Should of gotten that in writing. Our brand new LG top load washer has had to be serviced twice in two months. We spoke to the manager Laurie and were told, "read your contract it's a 15 day return policy. And there is a clause that states no lemon law can be enacted unless it can't be fixed!" So we are stuck with our lemon from LG. Praying that nothing else goes wrong. My advice, stay away from the big box stores especially this one. They don't care. Zajic is where I will be going from now on. We used to buy from them and have no idea why we stopped. Maybe convenient to shop at big box stores but that's it! Shame on you Pacific Sales. You have lost a customer for life. And I will make sure that others know how we were treated so they don't shop there either. read more

My experience is much the same as the other reviewers! We recently purchased an oven/microwave combo, range and hood. The hood was delivered bent with the fan not working. The installers told us they pointed out the damaged box to the warehouse when they picked it up but were waved off because a damaged box is not unusual. We were told that they will install the hood but that Pacific Sales would replace it because they were noting it on their installation report. The oven/microwave combo was installed and the oven was working for approximately 30 minutes while the installers were finishing up. I told them I wanted to test the microwave before they left. The microwave was turned on for one minute and then the entire unit shut down. The installer said that this was a bad sign. He checked the switches as well as the wiring. He indicated that all was well there and in his opinion this was a bad unit. He called into Pacific Sales and spoke to a salesperson who indicated that the hood would be replaced within a few weeks and that there was another oven/microwave combo in stock and that they could have it redelivered and installed within a few days. They indicated that this would be reported to Lori the manager and that she would call us in the morning. The next morning we received no call from Lori. My husband finally got ahold of her early afternoon. She indicated to him that since we signed off the installation report (which included all the damage/non working appliance wording) that the only thing they could do for us is to have a technician come out and take a look at the oven/microwave combo. This technician would not be able to come out for three days from now. My husband was quite upset and indicated that this was unacceptable, not only because we were told prior to signing the installation report that the oven would be replaced but that everything would be fixed rather quickly. Lori did not seem to care about their customer service and indicated that this is the best they could do. This is a huge inconvenience for us and in my opinion, Lori the manager does not care about customer service. She is very rude and condescending. I have sent an email to customer relations and am awaiting a response. I will update this post once the matter is resolved and let everyone know how well Pacific Sales has dealt with this complaint. read more

1/4/13 We were extremely disappointed today with the cold, unhelpful, and downright unfriendly contact with store manager Lorri in Elk Grove. We told her of the Whirlpool refrigerator we bought there less than 7 months ago that just died last week. The bulk of her response was to stare at us blankly and tell us that we had to deal with the manufacturer ourselves, and that Pacific Sales could do nothing to help. The only thing she did was to find an 800 number for Whirlpool. Our previous encounter with the sales staff here were very pleasant, which made this event with Lorri stand out so much. If they had zero star, I would have gone for it. This is one shop which is discouraging to the customer all the time.When you enter the shop, they are firstly not willing to show you around. And then when you select a piece and come back in a couple of days, they would have not only changed the price but also tell you that the other price was never quoted. My experience with this business was extremely disappointing. The sales staff was personable and helpful but the quality of the merchandise is abysmal. We purchased a kitchenaid side by side refrigerator, not an inexpensive item. We found the first refrigerator delivered was defective within 4 hours of delivery (making rattling sounds and freezer not cooling down) . After waiting 3 days for a service technician to come inspect the unit, it was discovered to be a manufacturer defect (bad compressor). We were told it would take another week for the replacement part and repair, we asked for the refrigerator to be replaced with a different unit. We were then informed there were no more in stock at the store in Roseville, nor in Tracy and they would have to get one shipped from Los Angeles but would not be able to deliver until the following week due to the weekend store closure. The offered to credit me $200 for my inconvenience (and food loss) only after we threatened to report them to the BBB. When the second refrigerator was delivered (now a full week after), it was totally trashed and damaged. the doors would not close, hinges were broken and the unit was dented as though it had fallen out of the truck. The delivery person discovered the damage when unwrapping the unit on our driveway., obviously not inspected at the warehouse! We refused the delivery. Now we are scheduled for delivery tomorrow... I am still without a working refrigerator freezer and not satisfied at all. I will not purchase anything from this store again, my advice? Go to Home Depot or Lowe's for the same merchandise (for a better price!). OH and by the way, I'm still waiting for my credit..... read more

This store made 2 of my holidays unpleasant. I bought a stove and a refrigerator (a total of about $3500. The stove that was set to be delivered 2 days before Thanksgiving was the wrong order, so the delivery guys had to take it back and delivered it after Turkey day. Then the refrigerator that they delivered on december 1 started having frost and making Jackhammer like noise on December 20. By December 23 the refrigerator keeps on resetting and displaying error on the display pad. They said they can't help me by sending the repair guy until Christmas. So I will have a kitchen full of guest with this noisy refrigerator. And to make it more annoying, the sales rep (Minh) didn't apologize for the delivery mix up and the Supervisor (Lori) didn't even sound so concern about the refrigerator issue. My Mom went to Best Buy in hopes of purchasing a new washer. She saw one that she liked and purchased it. The washer was delivered the next day on a Saturday. The machine was making loud noises and my mom was dissatisfied with the machine. I called Best Buy and they saw her transaction on the computer and said she was able to return it or exchange it if she was unhappy with the machine, but that she had to go in person to the store to talk to the manager to arrange for the transaction. She went to the store on Monday and was told by the manager that they don't do returns. They told her that she had purchased a washing machine not from Best Buy but from another company within Best Buy called "Pacific Sales." The manager was the manager for pacific sales inside Best Buy. She was rude, aggressive and told my mom that not only did she not buy a machine from Best Buy but that her company has a no return policy for installed appliances. She proceeded to tell her that this wasn't a t-shirt she was trying to return. She said that the only thing they could do is send a technician to look at the machine. The technician went the next day and mentioned to my mom that most people were very unhappy with the company and most of the time he would go in for repairs, the customers would complain about Pacific Sales. The main complaint is that you are made to believe you are purchasing a product from Best Buy but you end up buying from a different company within Best Buy. It's very deceiving. The technician said the machine is just loud and there's nothing he could do. My mom is not satisfied with the product and should be able to return it for a full refund considering it's only been a couple of days since she purchased it. That's the right thing to do and it's the correct thing that vast majority of companies do. Pacific Sales has not put the customer first and basically have told my mom she's stuck with a product she's not satisfied with. That's not good business!! read more

Service after the sale is horrible!! I had read reviews about others poor experience with delivery, but thought they were just whining. Not the case...I was given a delivery date of Nov 26, only to find out that the 48" oven I ordered was not part of the delivery. This call did not occur until that afternoon, after I was already waiting for the delivery. Than I was given a date of Dec 2....than 20 minutes later was called to reschedule to Dec 6. I work in the Bay Area and need to take a day off in order to be home for the delivery. I told dispatch that the 6th would not work...and they were going to try to find another date. They never called back...I had to call them back. Luckily, I was able to work from home on the 6th for the delivery. I thought the nightmare was over, but it wasn't. While the guys making the delivery were nice, they did not have the right equipment to get the oven in my house. First, they said that they could not drive down my driveway due to the trees. I am remodeling my house and have had much larger trucks drive down, so this was completely false. They eventually gave it a try and had no problem. Than they unloaded the oven off the truck, but said they could not bring it in the house, saying it was too big and heavy. I measured the door (35") and the oven was 32"...no problem. But the oven was heavy so they said they would just leave it on the driveway....if two guys can't bring it in the house, how am I supposed to do it!! They finally used some straps to lift it and bring it in the house. Once inside, they said that they don't install....what?! I did tell dispatch no need to install for the dishwasher that also came with it, but not the oven..so I had to install myself. Another error occurred when they sent the wrong size gas connection line...I had to go back out and buy my own. The whole after the sale service is horrible...and will seek out other companies before I every buy anything from Pacific Sales again!!! read more

She was knowledgeable with all brands and did a great job explaining the difference/price points for each brand. Great price on our GE Cafe suite and we shopped a lot of appliance stores. I am confident we got the best price and service. We found the perfect wine refrigerators for our new bar, washer, range, microwave and refrigerator. read more

This not a negative review for any employee of Pacific Sales or Best Buy. We have purchased several major appliances and haven't really experienced any major issues. What I still can't seem to understand is the relationship between Pacific Sales and Best Buy - it literally makes no sense, Here's a perfect example: We went in to buy a stove and literally all 5 models we considered were out of stock. The other 3 we would have also considered already had numerous customers waiting for theirs...........they've been waiting for 5+ weeks and still don't have them. This was shown to us on their computer - we were not willing to wait that long. FINALLY after 1.5 hours after looking,choosing, and being told "not available", the very nice sales associate tells us we can actually order from Best Buy directly. He looked up the one we wanted and sure enough Best Buy had 17 in stock with delivery avail the next day. Same price - same free delivery. That is absurd!!!! If Best Buy owns Pacific Sales, why aren't they allowed to cross over into Best Buy inventory? So we then waited another 45 minutes in line to buy direct from Best Buy Express. Such a disconnect from a consumer's perspective and much time wasted for everyone, Again, everyone was very nice and helpful, but we felt bad for the Pacific Sales guy because they literally had almost nothing in stock to offer. read more

Very disappointed in the service from Elk Grove Pacific Sales. We recently purchased a gas cooktop and a confection microwave oven Aprom 2 plus weeks ago our install date was for November 7. When they came to install they found that we needed some additional items to install for the gas cooktop we had gas there but there were some things they said that they needed to add to or order which okay I understand. They opened the oven / microwave and it was damaged they said they would have the sales person call us in the am. Jason our sales man did call and said that they could not have another oven installed tell 11/23 . This is incovience do to the fact family coming in this past week for a reunion with our son whos been deployed for 7 months and just came back. So when we spoke to him about different models just to get it in sooner his manager was willing to give us 10 % off a upgraded model. When we thought about everything we decided not to since the gas issue was costing a additional 450.00 and the upgraded model would not match our current products in the store and for there mess up why should I pay more. After talking to Jason our sells rep about this he said he would see what he can do to get us some type of compensation for all of this, never heard back so I called him a second time last night 11-13 he looked into it and said that the email has not been looked at that he sent, but the first one had and he seamed surprised I hadn't received a call. I then told him that im very disappointed and had to buy a cheap 100.00 microwave this weekend to help with all the family I was cooking for this week and that I will leave this issue in his hands. As of today 11-14-18 I still haven't heard from anybody if I knew this I would never have shopped in this store we drove a distance to Elk Grove where we should of just stayed in Folsom and looked at other stores and we would of already had our products installed and could of saved the money on a cheap microwave I do think Jason has done all he could but it doesn't make him look good when management doesn't stand behind him. This review is for Mallisa Bramasco at Pacific Sales located inside Best Buy in Elk Grove. We purchased a top end range and hood from her in April 2015 during a kitchen remodel. At the time, Best Buy was offering a promotion whereby the customer could open a credit card and get free interest for a period of time or get a bunch of rewards if you paid the balance in 30 days. We were going to pay cash anyway and wanted another appliance so we applied for the card. We paid the balance in 30 days and we're waiting for our $930 in reward certificates but they didn't come. When I called the rewards people, I was told it would be 60-90 days to credit them. During this time, my husband had a health emergency and we had to move near the medical facility-100 miles away for 5 months. I never received an email telling me the rewards had been credited or certificates issued. After we moved back home I started calling Best Buy rewards and every time I would get a different story ie the certificates would be manually prepared and sent to me but no timeframe when, or they had expired and would be reissued or a supervisor was personally handling it and it would be taken care of-no problem. None of this happened and I kept calling. Finally, I was told I was going to get the $930 but they just had to send it through Admin for a review but they were going to give them to me. The next day, I received a totally nonsensical email from Admin saying there were no rewards to give because it had been more than 6 months. During this time I had contacted Mallisa and told her I thought I was going to get the rewards and to prepare an order for my new item. When I received the Admin email I was ready to give up. Best Buy was not going to give me the rewards even though I had held up my end of the bargain and given them all their money within 30 days! Mallisa asked me to write a chronology of my attempts and forward it to her and she would see what she could do. She didn't have to get involved and help me with this because it was Best Buy, not Pacific Sales. But she's just that way-very helpful and caring. I wrote the saga for her and within a month, the rewards were credited in full and my new item was installed today. Thank you Mallisa Bramasco for going beyond your regular responsibilities, being so patient and not giving up like I was ready to do. To Pacific Sales: Mallisa is an asset to your team and you should take care of her because she creates loyal customers like me who will always buy from and recommend your company! While visiting Best Buy in Elk Grove I stumbled upon what looks like an appliance boutique inside. They call it Pacific Sales. I was surprised to find such recognizable names as Viking and Thermador. Nicely laid out kitchens with cabinets and countertops. I wasn't looking for that but it was very appealing. I was approached by a pleasant salesperson and just let her know that I was just browsing. She did not pressure me but offered to show me the layout of the department and what was new. I had no idea appliances had changed so much. Steam clean in ovens, steam in washers and dryers, 32 cuft refrigerators. I ended up taking information home to contemplate refreshing my kitchen with new stainless appliances. I can even get 18 months zero % interest with the best buy card. So far what a surprising and pleasant experience. I'll keep you updated if I decide to purchase but I do recommend you check them out. read more

Our experience with Chris Patiag was the best experience we could have possibly had in shopping for several different appliances due to a fire we recently had in our home and had to replace our washer, dryer, refrigerator and a couple of other items. He was very knowlegeable in every aspect of every appliance that was offered. He was courteous, understanding, checked compariable prices on everything to be sure we got the best price and the best deal on everything we were in the need of replacement. He had a great personality wanted to make sure we were happy with showing us and explaining the differences in the workings of the appliances. He was friendly and made having to run around from store to store unnecessary with for me having back issues was sooooooooooo great one cannot even imagine. If one ever wants to understand what they are buying, the differences in the brands and understading what you are looking for then both my husband and myself would highly recommend that if you want to deal with someone that goes beyond the extra mile for the customer then it is Chris that we would definitely both recommend having help you out if you plan on going to Best Buy in the Elk Grove, CA. area to purchase any appliances. We bought New Samsung French door refrigerator # RF 31FMESBSR in July 2013. The delivery guy handled it very roughly. They unpacked refrigerator, placed doors and parts literally on the road in front of our driveway (without any protection) which was witnessed by us. Within week, we started having issues with our refrigerator. We detected scratches and marks on the refrigerator. Food started getting rotten within week. We have complained many times to them. I even personally went and talked to manager but they refused to take any responsibility. I have even asked to change the unit which they have declined my request. she stated once unit is out of their warehouse and delivered they don't take it back. I went back many times and complained again. They finally sent their own technician and he said everything was ok but food was still kept getting rotten. When I threatened to take legal action, manager sent me $50 check to keep us quiet. Problem still persisted. We then contacted Samsung directly and they sent their technician. Per technician, delivery guy even didn't screw doors from the top so he placed new screws and tighten them. Air was leaking from the top. When he checked inside temperature, it was 50. He found defrost sensor defective so he replaced it. We hope this will fix the problem. Till today, more than $ 700 of food got rotten and thrown away by us. Their technician even doesn't know his job. He simply dictates what manager tells him to do. I have paid more than 2700$ on this product and now I worry what will happen in the future as company's warranty lasts only for one year. I would not recommend to buy any products from Pacific sales. Their customer service, delivery and handling are extremely poor. Their manager never accepts their problems and doesn't take ownership of their mistakes. She is very tough, persistent, rude and unwelcoming. They don't know how to fix problems......Please be careful dealing with them....We regret buying refrigerator from them. read more

I purchased a new refrigerator and dishwasher on April 9, 2015. Had to wait for the refrigerator that was back ordered. Today is May 14th and when they came to make the delivery, even though I paid extra to have my ice maker line hooked up and Melissa my sales person assured me that when the fellas left my new refrigerator would be making ice, the Delivery guy Dan told me they couldn't hook it up! Why not?? Oh, because it requires a shut off value behind the refrigerator not under our sink. When he called his Customer Service Rep she proceeds to say we didn't qualify for Free Delivery either. Well, we did on April 9th when we bought the stuff!! Told Dan if we're not getting what we paid for we'll have you take it ALL back!! Then proceeded to call and talk to Melissa like "what's up??" "Yes it does require the shut off to be behind the refrigerator" REALLY?? You tell me that now?? So I told her cancel the order and reimburse us. I am DONE with Pacific Sales and you should be too!!! read more

My wife and I have purchased 4 appliances from this store in the past 5 months. The reason we keep coming back is Malissa, she is an employee at this store and she is aces. Melissa follows through with ever step of the purchase , delivery, and installation process. Our latest purchase of a floor display model refrigerator has had some challenges. IE. damage during delivery etc. Malissa has stayed on top of the process by making phone calls on our behalf and promptly calling us to keep us informed as to where the problem resolution process was at. We could not be happier with the service she has provided. Any employee can seem to provide good service when things go well, but a great employee provides good service when problems that they did not cause need to be solved and they step up and correct them. If you want positive experience buying a major home appliance in this store ask for Malissa , you will not be disappointed . I was in retail sales for 40 years and Malissa is the example all retail sales employees should emulate. read more
