The price they invoiced us was a deal in comparison to others, I am definitely going to keep giving MTZ business and referring them to my family. Luis, I am assuming is the owner of the company or at least a family member in charge is a great guy and helped us out with the delivery and installation both times. He was good in communicating with me when he was able to come and deliver and was very flexible with the times to meet. I popped in while riding my bike past to see some Bosch fridges in person. I finally worked up the courage to ask about the 4 door fridge I was looking for and a similar 3 door fridge. They said they could most likely price match the cheapest option online (Airport Appliance) I left saying that I needed to discuss with my partner. I came back a few days later to purchase the fridge. The same person was available to help me, but he asked me "Is your husband okay with the fridge?" which was a little off-putting, because it's 2026 and we don't need a man's approval for an appliance purchase. They were able to price match Airport Appliance's price for the 3 door fridge, which ended up coming in just under $3000. After the purchase, it largely went radio silent. I ended up calling again to follow up after a week, and then two went by. They said that it was ordered and on the way and that the installer would be reaching out to me when the fridge was delivered. It took about three weeks from purchase to have a newly installed fridge. The fridge arrived with a small dent in the freezer door. The installer said they'd let A&A know about it so they could schedule a door replacement. The installer didn't let A&A know, so I popped in to inquire about it. A&A said they'd get the process rolling for getting a new door replaced. Then again, there was silence. No updates, nothing. 2-3 weeks go by and I texted asking if there were any updates, or if not, to get a discount on the fridge equivalent to the price of a new door. A few days later, they said that they had reached out to the repair service and they were expecting a new door in 2 weeks and they'd reach out. To conclude the 2 month saga, the repair service scheduled time to fix the door, and it is now fixed. The lack of communication was incredibly frustrating. I felt like I had to do their jobs for them to figure out what the heck was going on with the fridge. Purchasing through them and using their suggested installer ended up being a little more expensive than going through Airport Appliance (I priced it out afterwards). Maybe next time, I'll just go through Airport, and I would have gotten an extra $100 in rebates for installation.

The part easily could have been ordered directly from the manufacturer, but unfortunately, the manufacturers customer service department was impossible to deal with, which forced my hand to find someone local. This particular part absolutely is something I could have done without a repair person but here we are. Yelp has a project feature, so if you haven't used it before it definitely is a tool that works. You search for the service that you need, and what needs to be done, answer a couple of very easy, quick questions, and then click the button for estimates. Next thing you know, you'll be receiving text messages, phone calls, and all of a sudden you were going to be everyone's best friend. Depending on the service that you need, this will either be incredibly helpful, or make you feel overwhelmed. Needless to say, after speaking with more than a half a dozen appliance repair companies, and being put through the ringer and bombarded with phone calls and pushy people either demanding I'm making an immediate appointment, or refusing just to have a conversation with me, I decided on Top 1 Appliance. Here's why: They were absolutely the most reasonably priced for the service call and the work that needed to be done. They were not pushy on any level, and that made a huge difference. They were willing to come out the same day if I had time at no additional charge, or my case found another day that works for both of us. I knew this would be an easy and quick repair, and less than 20 minutes, the repair was made, and the repair tech was paid and on his way to his next job. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was that I had wanted the old parts left, and the tech wasn't willing to do that which did not make sense. Top 1 is incredibly easy to deal with, and I should also add that they reached out to me before the repair, they simply asked if I had found someone or if I still wanted their help.
