I have a classic, low profile, sports car whose brakes went completely out. I'm very protective of this 1993 Mazda RX7 that I purchased brand new 33 years ago. She is in excellent shape and worth far more now, than when I bought her. I was an absolute wreck about having her towed, what with no brakes and being a low profile sports car. I was also extremely nervous about leaving her with the repair shop. Jahamani, the driver, understood my love affair with this car and took his time loading and unloading her. He kept changing lanes on the freeway to be sure he wasn't behind a semi as I was worried about rocks possibly hitting her. Upon arriving at the repair shop, he even stayed to help direct me when parking the car, as I had to use the emergency brake to stop her. It's a bit frazzling if you've never done it before. With his help we got my girl to a safe parking area. I cannot recommend Jahamani enough. There was also a problem with my appointment at the repair place as they said they no longer work on classic cars. Jahamani told me to relax he wasn't going anywhere. He really helped me hold it together while managers and such were consulted. In the end, the shop honored the appointment and all was good. Had my check engine come on in Lodi and called AAA to have my car towed to Stockton Hyundai. AAA gave me a one hour time estimate and Pacific Towing showed up about 35 minutes into that window. This happened about 3 weeks ago, so my memory is a little hazy on the name of the driver. When he first arrived, I thought it'd be a poor experience because he seemed quiet but once we started driving he was a real friendly dude. We cracked some jokes and chatted about random things on the way to Stockton Hyundai. He was a real nice guy. I had to pay a little extra to have it towed there, but that's a AAA issue as their program has mileage limitations. Overall, it was one of the better experiences with a tow truck that I've had. They showed up before I thought they would and the guy was nice and easy to talk to. Great experience for me considering the negative event that led me to need a tow truck to begin with. read more

This Christmas morning (2am on the 26th technically) I, along with other members of my family visiting for the holidays got a rude awakening by this loud engine noise outside my house. It was of course Pacific Towing, not dropping off a car or towing one, just simply stopped in front of my house at 2am to adjust his load... He wasn't here longer than 15 minutes but the damage was already done. Very courteous, professional, & best of all seemed genuinely concerned about our welfare/safety. He said that one of his drivers was due back shortly & would be dispatched to our location. Less than 20 minutes later Austin showed up. He was also very professional, courteous, pleasant, and efficient. Absolute worst customer service ever!!!! I called this morning at 7:40am and the call was answered promptly (this was great!), and the agent who answered says, "Pacific Towing, how can I help you?" I greet her and say, "I would like assistance with a vehicle lockout in --" before I say anything else, I hear the hold music. Naturally, I thought she may have accidentally pressed the hold button so I'll give it a few seconds for her to get back on the line and tell me she'll need to put me on hold or to assist me. I waited 1 full minute before ending the call that I'm on hold for and call back. She answers the same way, I say "Hello, I just called and may have accidentally been put on hold because I didn't get to finish saying the reason for my call." The agent replies, "air wasn't an accident, I have other calls ahead of you so you have to wait until I can talk to you." Then, she IMMEDIATELY puts me back on hold. I hung up after about 10 seconds. She was very unprofessional and rude! I have no problem waiting on hold but the respectful and appropriate thing to do is to tell the customer you will place them on hold while you finish assisting other customers who were before them. ALSO, when they call back because they were unsure of what happened with the call, you explain, apologize for putting them on hold abruptly and without notice. Didn't even get her name, but it was whoever the lady was answering the phones on Sunday, April 3, 2022 at 7:40am and 7:43am. You guys have to do better!! First, I was out of town when my car battery died. AAA towing service in Chico sent 'Mike'. He immediately determined the battery only had a 20% life. Got back to Lodi, called AAA. I had a great experience with Pacific Towing. Tow Truck Driver 'Joe' came out immediately, almost beat me to my parking lot. Very professional and polite. Before I committed buying a AAA battery, I shopped around. Don't bother, their batteries have the best price with best warranty AND they install. This time 'Joe' beat me to my parking lot. 'Are you kidding, sign me up!' And it was all fast. Office staff was efficient, had a lot of laughs with 'Jenny'. I had a blown tire, on 99 and called AAA. As always, they made sure that I was safe where I was...a CHP officer pulled up about 7-10 minutes after I called. I had explained to the officer that I was temporarily ADA, using a walker to get around, assured me that it will taken care of, not to worry.....this is my one star complaint. The tow driver pulled up in front of me, in case he needed to tow the car but the officer confirmed that it was a flat tire. The driver made a bee line to the officer, I assume to let him know he was no longer needed, during which I popped the trunk so he could retrieve the spare. He approached the passenger side window, BITCHING AND COMPLAINING that there was so much "shit" in trunk....its my wife's car, I don't know the condition of her trunk. I then apologized and asked if he could take the stuff out because of my medical situation....his comment to me was "well I'm 66 yrs old so what's the problem" so I had to get out of the fricking car, ON A BUSY HIGHWAY and proceeded to unload 3 items, THREE!!!!!! It was a pink trunk tote that had items in it, a smaller black tote with some items, including jumper cables and ONE small duffle bag that was about 14 inches long, THATS IT!!!!!! So, I am standing on the shoulder of the freeway, leaning on my walker and waiting for him to put the bad tire in the trunk, SO I CAN PUT THE STUFF BACK IN THE TRUNK!!!! I have NEVER been treated that rude with ANY tow company that contracts with AAA but his SHITTY attitude was above and beyond being an A hole. If a manager wants to contact me about who the driver is, I'll be happy to discuss it with you but know that I did file a complaint through AAA and they were overly apologetic with the situation that they had no control over...and unlike the driver, I have the decency to not post his name....my mother raised me right. I see some complaints about a driver with an "bad attitude," if this is him, you may want to consider not having work directly with the public or maybe he should seek other employment, something he actually like doing because this ain't it Thank you for your time. read more

Luis was contacted through AAA to tow our car . We were told he would be there at 6:50 . He didn't show up until 2 hours later. Upon picking up our vehicle he asked us to roll down the driver side window for him to tow the car . We gave him our keys and asked if we need to follow him to the shop to check the car in. He said no, the keys would be left in a drop box. We paid for the tow..Only to receive a call from the shop the next morning that they didn't fix our flat tire because they never received our keys and the window was down , door was unlocked. They stated that the car was trashed on the inside. We explained to them the driver said he left the keys in their drop box. The shop stated that they do not have a drop box . We made multiple attempts to contact the tow company. They kept hanging up on us. Finally we got through and the driver says he left the keys inside of the car. ‍ but he locked the door. He says he tried to notify us but we did not receive any missed calls , texts or voicemails at all. We notified the driver before his arrival through the AAA app that one of the phones was dying. We spoke to the owner who felt that his driver was not responsible because he says he locked the door and left the keys in car. He also stated that the driver did his job, he towed the car. The driver was the last one to have the keys , he took the car with the windows down at his request , and claimed to put them in a drop box that did not exist to begin with. I had a magnificent experience considering dealing with the tow company is generally because something is wrong. I drove accidentally into a flood and was distraught to say the least. Ethan was the tow driver. He was so kind and pleasant to work with. He wasn't in a rush and took a moment to make small talk which turned my day around. He inquired about the vehicle and my requests to ensure my expectations were met. He delivered my car safely to my mechanic about 45 mins away and took care not to attempt to start the vehicle. He was aware that this can cause damage in Hydro lock. He was very knowledgeable and showed compassion for my situation. Thank you AAA for sending this company out. Unfortunately I was rear ended on 99 and CHP called this tow company to tow my vehicle away. They are the most shadiest company ever. Worst service yet. And ive been using AAA/ Pacific towing for a long time . Damage to my vehicle and getting ahold of any person there is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. Just ridiculous. Now i have to go out and find a shop to fix the damage because they said that they would make it right and correct the damage done by the driver but nothing has been fixed . I had over a half a tank of gas which was missing after my van was towed. Also had a piece of my car seat in the middle missing so I could no longer move the seat forward to get into the rear seat. Thankfully the car repair shop replaced the car seat part but I'm out over a half a tank of gas. When you're struggling like I am that hurts a lot. Many times, PT has assisted my wife and me in servicing our old, old autos and getting them back on the road. I am particularly impressed with the technician Austin, who has been with PT about the same amount of time I have been an AAA member. Despicable!! My 16 year old son attended a high school dance at Legion building. Apparently the lot across street that is usually used for Legion events is owned by the Eagles lodge & chain was left open so the lot filled up with the cars of unsuspecting kids. Once kids were inside dance, several tow trucks pulled up (hmm, pre planned?) & began towing away cars at $340 each. J & I had an unfortunate incident with J's car. After some phone calls for roadside assistance, we were called by Casey of Pacific Towing. Little did we know how lucky we were to be placed into such capable hands. Casey arrived earlier than the time estimate given to us by the dispatch, and upon a quick visual inspection, offered to try and fix the vehicle then and there instead of towing us 20+ miles away to the dealership. When it turned out he didn't have the right tools in his armada, he loaded up the car onto his tow truck and offered to take us to his nearby shop. There he could replace the parts for us as we waited, instead of us having to leave the car in Stockton overnight (followed by a drop in the next day). We decided to take Casey up on his offer, and road the short distance to his shop in Lodi. After about 45min of tinkering around, J's car was fixed up so we could actually drive home. During the entire time Casey was on this case, he put his entire attention and focus on the car-- he actually turned down two other dispatch calls in order to complete the job. Thanks Casey, for going that extra mile with your impressive dedication and attention to detail. You saved us both time and money, and we appreciate everything you did for us! read more

Our van was broke down on 1-5 south bound past twin city's rd. My girlfriend has triple a towing and vehicle is registered to both of us. She was running late for work so I brought he the car and told her to go. Plus how dangerous the spot is I didn't want her near the vehicle. The driver pulled up and since she was not there and made the call left me and my vehicle abandons with one foot from the white line.i asked if he could get me to the exit and we could get this situated.
