Wellll...in my original 2016 review I mentioned my old 2007 plasma TV. (Jim repaired my other LG TV back then & it's still goin' strong.) But finally the plasma began to go haywire. I heard a clicking sound & had to unplug/re-plug the TV a couple times to turn it on. I called Jim. He said, "Clicking sound? The TV is on its way out & I can't repair plasma any more cuz can't get parts." I asked him to come over to confirm the diagnosis & he did & he was right. And he also noticed a burning odor, not good. That was yesterday. So I figured I'd have to go buy a new TV & then get Jim back to install it. Until Jim offered to go get me a TV, bring it to the house, set it up, and I do nothing. And I'd have the new TV next day. Music to my ears. Jim & his son just left my house. They delivered my new Samsung flatscreen, installed it, set up the existing Tivo for me, hauled away my super-heavy old plasma. They were in & out in a flash. They were exactly on time, as always. No 2-hour windows or any crap like that. How's that for service? I'd say as many stars as in the sky but I can only give 5. read more

I called him about a not too old Sony Bravia that went on the fritz. He listened to me and explained that it was probably too expensive to fix. While it's not what I wanted to hear, I appreciate his honesty and not wanting to come out and charge me just to show up. read more

Great TV Repair. My 3+ year old Visio M60-C3 started having dark rectangles in multiple spots. Jim came out and immediately identified the problem. The led's were burnt out behind the areas of the dark rectangles. He gave me a fair estimate. The repair to a couple of weeks due to the fact that the replacement strips for this model were all sold out. But fear not. Jim is an experienced TV tech and he ordered a higher voltage replacement strip kit. He also ordered a power supply to work with the 12 strips. He returned my TV and it looks great. He bought me another few years and now I'm just waiting for good deal in a year of so on then next 65+" tv. read more

FIVE+ STARS - DON'T BOTHER GOING TO ANYONE ELSE FOR YOUR TV REPAIRS!!! I started having power cycling issues with my Samsung UN55D6420 6 Series LED 3D TV. I called Jim on Monday 11/20/17 around 1 PM and he was at my house by 2 PM. He did a physical audit and picked up my TV (I didn't have to transport it to his shop, this is a HUGE plus!!!). He was extremely professional and honest; he explained to me he could most likely fix my TV and that I shouldn't buy a new one (but I did anyways since the wife thought the TV was dead, haha!) Jim called me back on Tuesday 11/21/17 informing me he had all the parts needed and that the repairs would be finished soon (I'm astonished he had the parts needed in stock!). Amazingly Jim had my TV back on Weds 11/22/17 just in time for THANKSGIVING!!! Ladies and gents it took Jim 1.5 business days to fix my TV and DELIVER IT (this is unprecedented turn around time, you cannot beat this)! This is the way services should be provided, door to door with NO HASSLES. Also the pricing is very very reasonable, way better than buying a brand new $1K+ TV! read more

Excellent repair service. Jim and his son James repaired my 55" LG TV which needed a main circuit board. They came and unbolted the TV, ordered the part and had it back to us within 5 days. They gave us a nice loaner while it was out, and when they came back to rebolt/rewire it, they also installed a new DVR player that I had bought for free! Very reasonable prices too. Our 3+ year old 55" Sony was having a sound but no picture issue. Called Jim and made an appointment for the next day. He came promptly and picked up the tv. He later called and said he ordered the parts that would most likely fix the problem. After replacing the main and T-con boards, he delivered the tv and it works like new! His labor charges were very reasonable for the service and convenience he provides. We were planning on buying a new tv, but glad we contacted Jim first. I had an old Sony Bravia 55" tv that had suddenly stopped working. I called Jim and he was able to come to my house and give an estimate the same day. He took the TV and worked on it. He diagnosed it as needing a couple different new parts. I did tell him that I was not willing to spend over a certain amount. The color on my elderly mother's bedroom TV has been messed up for quite some time. Today I decided to do something about it, and we found Pacific TV and Electronics on Yelp. We called, and Jim arrived at my mother's home within an hour. He diagnosed the issue, packed the large TV into his van, took it to his shop, and had it back in perfect working order by 4:30 pm. Absolutely amazing and worth every cent. We have a year old/ out of warranty Sony TV, we tried to schedule for TV repair with Sony and was transferred a bunch of times and was placed on hold for hours. We finally gave up and contacted Jim, he answered immediately, showed up on time and was very efficient. Jim the owner is an extremely nice person who actually is passionate about his job. I needed my 32 in. Vizio flat screen repaired, so I called him and he gave me a free estimate and he came to my house that same day and picked up the tv and he told me that it should be repaired within 2-3 days! I was thrilled because it typically would take around 2-3 weeks. When he brought the tv back he turned it on and told me what was wrong with the tv and what he did to fix it. He charged me less than the estimate. He is an overall great person who definatley cares about how he runs his business. read more
