The owner of this Valley TV Repair was so nice and professional . My son had bought this tv for $2,000,00 The tv was all black. I called Sony and they tried to send the signal which did not work. They gave me this repair shop which I called and they told me that probably I would need to go to Walmart and buy a new one . He said us better you but another one . He didn't even try it. However , I called Valkey TV repair and they told me to bring it! To mr surprise he fixed it for a very low price! I saved $2,000.00 and I got a new tv for a very le price . This is experience is a perfect example of why one should never settle on someone first opinion or suggestion. I purchased a beautiful 75" 4K resolution smart Vizio tv about 4 1/2 years ago. I decided that it was time to invest in a real television that the entire family will enjoy watching sports, family movie nights and some gaming. Everything was awesome and dreamy until 7 weeks ago, all of a sudden the tv imagine would go pitch black and I figured being a smart tv it could be a problem solve by rebooting like a computer. Well as days went by it got worse to the point that it would happen 3-4 times a day until one day the image never came back. I called the 800 number provided on the vizio manual, the call was directed to India, a gentleman kindly and professionally answer and after going through all the routine troubleshooting he advised that there was nothing else to do and that my television was beyond repair and because of my insistence and disbelief he then transferred me to a manufacturer here in the US located in Texas. Again a helpful gentleman went on to say that this is a typical problem that he deals with about 4-6 times a month and that a repair will cost me more than what I paid for the tv and that I should consider purchasing a new one. What! A repair will cost me more than $3,000 and is common that a television at that price will last less than 5 years, least to say I was upset and shocked but I would not accept this absurd answer from a company I decided to invest my hard earned money. So I decided to do what I do best and research everything that was out there in regards to this issue and learn everything about it. Once I learn the tv components, terminology and how repairs I started calling all tv repair shops around me. I needed to ask the right questions and sound that I knew what I was talking about to not be taken advantage of. And that's how I found Valley TV Service, from the get go Marvin was straight forward on what they could do for me and did not go around any of my questions. The fee for taking a look at my tv was reasonable and was then deducted from the cost of the entire repair service witch I wasn't told until I was told how much the entire bill would be, that was so honest from their part. Two weeks after I dropped off my tv I received a text from Maurice who did all the work and he let me know step by step was he was working on, it wasn't easy and it took 6 weeks but he never gave up until he text me one evening I he had found the issue. I needed my 50" Samsung LED flat screen repaired. From the moment I called to let them know what issues I had with my TV, the guy that answered the phone (sorry I forgot your name, Marvin!!) was very honest about the possibility that my Flat screen may not be fixable but he welcomed me to come in so he can take a look. As he was looking at it he was very nice and informed me my options whether I should consider it as a loss or replace the screen which would actually cost more than a new TV. He never charged me with his time. I decided not to fix it. Which also brings me to say that I was able to leave it with him to recycle with no fee instead of going through the trouble of finding a place to get rid of it. Hello all, posting a second positive experience at valley TV repair Service. I was impressed with the first repair on a Samsung 4K 65". This time around was repair service on a 55" curved Samsung 4K - top rows of LEDS went dim, I was suggested that replacing even the good LEDS left would be a good idea since TV gets constant use. Was able to pick up a couple days later in great working order at a very pleasant repair cost. Just to mention again they're a authorize Samsung repair shop. They also service most brands. I was about to throw out my old 70 inch Panasonic television. I kept it on continuously, never turned it off, like a night light, so the screen burned out, and the manufacturer's warranty was long expired. I thought I might have to send it to Japan. Fortunately I paid for it with my American Express credit card which automatically extended my warranty. So I took it in to Valley TV and they fixed it perfectly at no cost to me. My TV was so large that my sons helped them bring it up my my stairs when it was delivered. That was five years ago and the TV is still working like new. read more

Family owned shop, nice people, but be very careful. No clear communication. I understand people needs to make a living but this is unacceptable. Brought in my Sony TV repair for wifi problem. Initial repair fixed the problem, and they told me that they replaced built in wifi, cost 180. After over a week, the problem came back, I was told I have 90 days warranty. I brought the TV back for repair. After over a week of no communication, they told me that they already replaced the main board for another $150 without asking me if I want to replace it or not. Total cost 330$ for an old Sony TV that cost around $700. I would rather spend that money to buy a new TV. I am not sure if ther will be more problems but I am done with this place. Im not sure how this place is a 5 star review BTW. DO NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I brought my 55" LG flat-screen in on a Friday. None of the HDMI ports were working. The following Monday, I received a text that my TV was ready for pickup. Although eager to retrieve it, my hopes were dashed by work; it would be impossible to arrive for the rest of the week before the shop closed. Enter a super-cool shop owner who was not only willing to stay beyond close to allow for pickup, but without asking, hooked up the TV so I could see that the fix was good on all 4 ports before I took it home to verify myself. He even took another 20 minutes to make the control button panel flush with the back cover by pulling all of the screws, reseating it, and putting them back in. All of this against a backdrop of good conversation running the gamut of local restaurant faves to the future of light rail in CA. Excellent quality of work, quick turnaround time, and great staff. I took my Samsung 22 inch tv to replace the antenna input that was torn off. Maurice the repairman did a quick job in an hour. Maurice also made an adjustment to my antenna coaxial cable where I don't have to screw it into the antenna input.
