The facial room was spacious and dimly lit to put you into a comfortable mood, and you relax into your session with the sound of water trickling in the background. I noticed that my entire session was only about 45 minutes instead of the 60 minutes that I booked for. But perhaps that is the norm here and the 60 minutes budgets in prep and wrap-up time?

The pain was greatly reduced after the first visit and over time the treatments I received on my low back kept me able to continue my lifestyle. Currently the 22 year old injury is the least pain free it's ever been and I rarely require attention in that area. Over the years Viktoriya worked with me on various other issues and taught me more about how Chinese medicine could be used in healing. The list of therapy that I've received includes: cupping, heat therapy for hand joints, knee surgery post therapy, treating nerve damage, shoulder pain, elbow pain, and knee pain. Aside from the physical benefits I've received from acupuncture, I also received a series of treatments called the 8 Extraordinary Vessels. The process quickly became noticeable in my daily life with a more confident and positive attitude. I had a better awareness of myself and of the world. My state of mind became less motivated by fear and anger and more motivated by love and kindness. By the end of the 8 sessions I no longer had symptoms of PTSD or chronic anxiety. I felt like I had a re-birth and the condition of my mental health had been greatly improved. I was so amazed at the change in my quality of life that I've begun the process again for the second time. As much as her techniques of healing are successful, and I will continue my journey with Viktoriya as part of my team, she is also a very kind and caring person. Much of my knowledge about the world of healing started with conversations that we had. Unfortunately, I was told that because there was no manager on site and the person who does pedicures wasn't there, she couldn't sell me a gift certificate. She was polite and apologized, but that was it--no gift certificate, no card, no menu, no information on who to contact or how to follow up. I simply walked out empty-handed. Totally turned away. Looking back, I should have known better. Last year, I received a Visions gift certificate. When I tried to make an appointment (I live nearby), I was told they couldn't schedule me and that I needed to call the number on the card. I called twice and left my number both times--no one ever called me back. That was enough for me. My mom had a similar experience. She booked a massage, showed up, and the masseuse was a no-show. She rescheduled, only for the masseuse to reschedule on her--twice. Eventually, the times offered no longer worked, and she gave up and never went back. Overall, this place is just a hassle--from purchasing gift certificates to booking and keeping appointments. There's a clear lack of organization and follow-through. Save yourself the frustration and don't bother.
