I had been a regular client here for shoulder and neck pain and always had a normal, professional experience -firm work on the problem areas, sessions ending on time. During my most recent visit, that changed. Near the end of the session, the therapist touched me inappropriately, near my groin, without my consent, and continued until I told him to stop. I've filed a police report for sexual battery and complaints with the relevant state licensing boards. I'm sharing this so other clients are aware. read more

For a not-meant-to-be-high-end-Ritz-Carlton type of massage place, this place has the BEST ambiance by far! The lighting is dark, the space smells lovely, and the decor is really nice and relaxing. Plus they serve delicious rice tea when you're done. Just walking in and waiting already relax me before the appointment even begins. Front desk was very friendly and helpful. The owners put their heart and mind into the space, and it shows! Unfortunately, I've tried massages and a facial here, and found both to be only ok. They're not bad, just not great either. The massages felt sort of generic and robotic, like the masseuses were just running through a set of rehearsed moves. Maybe the individual ones in the private room would be better? I got the foot and combo ones in the shared room, it's possible those aren't as good. The facial was underwhelming and nothing special; I didn't like how the esthetician suggested an upgrade but phrased it in a way that wasn't clear it would cost extra. I read some of the reviews before, so I knew to watch out and explicitly decline, but I think if I didn't, I would've just went with the flow then be surprised at the bill. I don't meant to sound too negative, I'm just nitpicking a bit. I do recommend them; this place is a very solid choice if you're looking for a wallet-friendly spot. Yowzers, when sorting by date, seems like it's a string of low-mediocre reviews recently. Honestly, I have been here twice in about 3 months and I LOVE THIS PLACE. It's a hidden treasure. Very good value and I've been to other places that are about the same cost and this place is slightly nicer than the others. It's not like.. the nicest place. If you want true luxury, you gotta spend the dough. I think this place is great and is now my regular massage spot that I highly recommend! I think you get a little better than what you pay for. I will say, the first time I came, around late January, the room was in fact cold and my body was a bit cold. The second time, the room was heated. Seems like they are taking the comments to heart! I did get the same therapist, Tracy. I thought she was great and I got her again. I might try another therapist next time just to see if I can find a favorite. The therapist did not use plastic gloves like mentioned in another review. Odd. The massage started promptly and lasted for the duration of time promised. I booked a couples massage for my boyfriend's birthday and confirmed with the receptionist that we wanted one male and one female therapist. On the day of the appointment, we showed up to find we were booked with two male therapists instead. I'm not comfortable with another man touching me, but since this was for my boyfriend's special day, I didn't want to ruin it. We went to the couples room, got changed, and got under the sheets. When the therapists came in, they didn't speak or understand any English. My male therapist started touching me inappropriately near my hip area, which made me feel really uncomfortable. I said something to him, and he just nodded, but then continued doing the same thing. I had to stop the massage right then and there and ended up not getting a massage at all. I offered for my boyfriend to continue his massage while I waited in the car, but he didn't want to continue without me. The manager was apologetic and said the new receptionist made the mistake of booking two males for us. We rescheduled for another time, but when that appointment came up, my boyfriend didn't want to go anymore as our experience gave us a bad feeling. I called to cancel, and the same receptionist who messed up our booking gave me attitude over the phone. Honestly, if she had done her job properly in the first place, none of this would have happened. Overall, this experience was super frustrating, and I won't be coming back. I had a wonderful time! I was there two days after Christmas, visiting family. I had suddenly gotten the worst neck pain after stress, a long drive, colder weather, or soft bedding/pillow. I couldn't sleep at all. I had someone I think was named Tom or Tho or To. Whatever his name, he went in with a deep dive not just to my neck and shoulders, but down my entire back, releasing pain from places I didn't even know were tight until he got them! Thanks to him, I was able to relax and sleep much better, even with some soreness from the intense deep dive on my muscles. The only thing I took a star down for, was that I had to ask for music to be played. Otherwise, I probably would've just heard people walking back and forth as the walls were pretty thin. I really enjoyed my visit here. Song at the front desk is very friendly and approachable! The guy who did my massage was also very friendly and professional! I had super tense shoulders going in and he did a great job with massaging my shoulders and getting all the muscles relaxed and getting rid of all of the stress and tension that was building up in my shoulders from working long hours on the computer. The therapist that was assigned to me was disappointing. I told the front desk that i was gonna available the deep tissue massage. So here comes the therapist, about 5 mins into the massage she asked if i wanted a hot stone because my back was so stiff. So i agreed to avail the hot stone. As she resumed the massage. The way she massage my back was awful! The was no enough amount of pressure she applied that would justify what a "Deep tissue massage should be! Strokes weren't relaxing. Its almost random! Most of the time she just uses the hot stones to glide over my back without putting any pressure on it! Its just horrible. I would not qualify it as a Swedish massage either! Ouch. Freezing. Unpleasant. The first words that come to mind when then thinking of today's experience. Let's begin shall we. I was greeted prompted upon entering the building by Suhon (very pleasant and kind and attentive) Once I was on the massage table, Tracy came in to conduct my massage. For reference I paid for the 90 minute with cupping session. The room was cold, the table was cold. The lien was cold. The oil used on my skin was cold, nothing was warmed. I could hear the sounds of the microwave going off, but the sounds of Tracy wearing these horrible plastic scratchy gloves took the cake. I've never in my life have been massage with gloves on. Aside from the loud and scratchy sounds of the plastic gloves throughout my massage, the feelings of these rough scratchy gloves with oil being rubbed into my skin felt horrible on my body. I could not get comfortable nor relaxed for the massage session. I went in already sore, tense and in pain just seeking some relief, some good self care time. I feel like I wasted my time and money. $130.00 down the drain for a experience that left me feeling icky, and like my skin is sore from being scratched with rough plastic gloves and oil for 90 mins. I do not plan to return to this establishment let alone plan a girls group date or recommendation of any sort. read more

We were so excited with the massage last time by Tracy. Her technique was excellent and had strong pressure. She hit all the right sore areas. We asked for Tracy again for today's 6PM appointment. But this evening's experience was totally different. It was a different person working the front desk. Last time we paid the front desk person after the massage. This time we were surprised we were asked to pay before the massage. The massage experience was also not the same. It was a totally different massage technique. Not as good as the first time. The the other odd thing is that the foot "massage" was done while my wife was lying on her back. The work on the feet had no pressure and was more like a washing and scratching as opposed to rubbing.
