After doing extensive research and consultation on stylist that does permanent makeup, I decided to go with Jackie who works at Dr. Berkley. I had previously got my eyebrows done many many years ago but it has since faded and a few places I called refused to take me in b/c I had it done at another place already. But Jackie was really nice. She wanted to see my previously done eyebrows to see if she can help me. After the initial consultation, she said she can help me. She also asked if I want my eye lining and lips done also. I had seen other people with pretty pink permanent makeup tattoo lips before and was thinking about it. She pencil in my eye lining to show me what I would look like with and without and ask me to think about it for a few days before I get back to her on what I want it done. After much consideration, I decided to get brand new eyebrows done and add eye lining and lips. After 2-3 tattooing in each area, I walk away sooooooooooooooooooooo happy with her work. Jackie has been amazingly friendly and professional and was able to work with my odd schedules. I'm so happy and would definitely refer friends to her for all permanent makeup needs. Prior to taking the leap for laser & filler work, I check out a lot of places in the Los Angeles, Newport Beach and San Diego areas. I was introduced to Dr. Berkley's Skin and Body Spa by a friend. Upon walking through the front door I found its clean, pristine environment with a friendly staff had a really good vibe--much better than the other Med spas I investigated. During very informative consultation with the Dr. Berkeley, I asked about the various treatments. To my surprise she told me that my skin and aging process was not at the stage where I would need the more expensive treatments. What a difference from pitched the whole enchilada from other folks. Based upon her honesty and what I experience when entering the spa, I decided to take the plunge and get some work done. What impressed me the most was the Doctor's ability to create a program (laser & filler treatments) within my budget range and how she talked me through the entire process as she worked on my face. I love this place for my B12 shots! Ironically, the thing that is the biggest pain in the ass is that their card swiper has an issue with BofA check cards. I had to run my card 3 times, then twice on a separate one. If you don't have multiple accounts or a credit card you're screwed on paying them. It's really inconvenient and they need to get that fixed but otherwise, loved my services and both girls were really nice to my two year old who came to hang out with me while I got my shot. read more

I had the pleasure of enjoying an amazing 1 hour massage and then a salt body scrub at Dr. Berkley's last Tuesday. Tina was my therapist and has a wonderful technique that left me feeling like jello! I had perm. make-up with Jackie. She was incredible. The first visit was 3 1/2 hours, the touch-up three weeks later 2 hours. Even with the numbing cream, it hurts, so be ready for that. But the outcome is terrific. Waiting for it to fade over the next few weeks, but I can tell I'm going to like it. She's a true artist and I'm more than happy. I have to add 1 week earlier I had one of the worst facials of my life with someone else. I told Jackie about it. The woman said I should get the anti-aging facial, (which of course, cost more,) but the minute she put the masque on my face was on fire. She removed the cream quickly, and twice as fast finished. I was charged the full price, I stupidly even tipped her well and left. When I returned for Jackie to do the make-up I told her about the experience. She said she would tell the office manager. Three weeks went by and I hear nothing. Went for my touch up with Jackie and reminded her. Once again she said I would hear from the office manager. I've heard nothing. I spent almost $2,000 there...you would think I would hear from them. Again...Jackie is 5 stars. Very disappointed in the customer service...still hoping they will call. Barbara E. Who doesn't want to turn back the hands of the clock? It's why places like this are in business. This is the first one I've found that doesn't try to sell you on anything. You tell them what you want to have as a result and they make it happen. I am not going to list the services I've had, but for all of them I have had a great experience -(except one time years ago when a girl over the phone told me a cost for treatment and when I got here it was much more than that. I went into Dr. Berkley's Skin and Body for the first time during a new client happy hour they were running. I was nervous about getting Botox for the first time as I am a complete needle phobe. The Spa setting was very pretty and peaceful and the staff were friendly but unobtrusive. I had arrived early and was offered tea or fruit-infused water while waiting for my appointment which was a nice touch. Dr. Berkely was very nice and put me at ease by patiently answering my barrage of questions. I needn't have worried at all, Dr. Berkeley had such a light touch that the injections did not hurt at all - I felt the needle enter my skin but that was it and it was only a little sore afterwards. I also have a lot of trust for Dr. Berkeley because she convinced me to get less than what I initially wanted even though it meant a smaller bill for the service - and the results look great. I also received a top-notch massage from Christina, one of Dr. Berkley's massage therapists. Christina was very sweet and made me feel immediately comfortable. She can do all types of massages but I love deep tissue and was very pleased with how powerful her pressure can be when requested. Her technique was very thorough head to toe and she paid particular attention to my problem areas. I felt very relaxed during and after and the massage made a huge difference to the issues I was having with my calves and back. I will definitely be a repeat customer here. read more

Despite the fact I booked last minute, the ladies here were extremely helpful in getting me in next day, on a Saturday at the time I needed. I had a microdermabrasion facial. It was amazing. I recently moved to Vegas and the dry weather has been harsh on my skin. The next day my face was 100% improved! My facial included a free eyebrow waxing. I wouldn't normally go for this as my skin is very sensitive and waxing causes me to break out. I didn't break out at all and it was the most painless wax I've ever had! I've always wanted to get laser hair removal in the bikini area, but was nervous about pain, and just sort of uncomfortable with laying there with my legs spread open. I popped in one day to get the information, and decided to sign up. They gave me a little container of numbing creme to apply before I come in for my actual treatment. Sonja did my treatment and we spoke before she started about my fears and what areas I wanted treated. I'm a blond, so the lasers do a lot better with darker hair, but we decided that we'd give it a try and at least hope for some improvement, less course hair, and at best, total hair removal with a few treatments. Sonja made me feel extremely comfortable, and not embarrassed. Shes very professional, and the entire procedure went faster then I expected because there was no pain at all! I've had laser tattoo removal, which is excruciating, and this was nothing!! I'm about 3 weeks out and I can feel a lot less hair on my inner thighs, so I think we're off to a good start. I'll be seeing her again in a few weeks, and plan on doing a total of 4 treatments. I bought a package. One more thing. Sonja is so pretty, naturally!!. We talked about filler and botox and I plan on having her do my injections next time, because I can tell she's extremely experienced and knowledgable with the facial anatomy. read more

I recently went to Dr Berkley Skin & Body for microderm treatment and also had Glycolic during the treatment. My skin had some bad red lacerations and I was in pain later in the day and the next day. When I called and spoke with Jennifer she was very understanding and offered me an another appt to see the facialist , Angie to help with further skin treatment to help heal my face, and Jennifer also offered me special cream to help my face get better. Jennifer was great on the phone and very kind to me when I came in to receive the cream samples for my face. For now my face is getting better and I hope the red lacerations are all gone in a couple of days. I wish I would of known the glycolic along with microderm could cause these types of reaction, I have had the microderm many times before where they applied the Glycolic and only once did I have adverse reaction on my skin. I would recommend Dr Berkley Skin and Body, my suggestion is to ask questions about the treatments before you have them done, so you know about possible side effects. read more

Terrible!!! I made an appointment to get a massage the day before leaving to go do a big race. This place had been recommended so I decided to give it a try. The person on the phone said to get there early in order to fill out some paperwork. I got there early the day of my appointment only to find out that the massage therapist had a migraine and cancelled her appointments. The lady at the front desk gave me told me and apologized for forgetting to call me. I guess their time is more valuable than mine.
