I made a special drive simply to take out Paci's while staying a half hour away for a trip to Fallingwater - and boy am I glad I did! The blackened chicken Alfredo (which I got with a side of the "ghostfredo") was amazing - I polished it off after crushing the ghost sauce shrimp. I'm obsessed. I wish I could try everything "ghost" on the menu. Such a fantastic blend of hot and yummy flavor. Should've got the recipe... Oh and the breadsticks. Don't get me started. Tried this place for the Lenten special fried fish. I hadn't been there in a long time, so I figured I would check it out. I was hopeful the food would be good but it was far from that. I ordered the fish sandwich and my mother ordered the fish platter. I asked to get haluski as my side and the waitress told me "we don't have any yet". I was confused because their Facebook post for the day stated the available sides were fries, mac and cheese or haluski. I just got fries. The food was fresh and hot, but tasteless. The tartar sauce was just mayo mixed with relish (very gross imo), the coleslaw my mother got was very sweet (not good at all) and had a heavy mayo taste as well. The fries needed salt. The fish sandwich was small, compared to two other restaurants in the area, which was around the same price. Halfway through our meal, the couple next to us were offered the other sides of mac or haluski. My mother asked why were told there was no other side available. We spoke to a different waitress who told us that it's only as a special after 4, but it was only 3:30. We ordered our meals at approx 3. She said it can be offered early and we can get it as an additional side. I declined because it wasn't initially offered by our main waitress. I was bothered by that to be honest. Other tables were offered it, but we were not. Anyway, I wouldn't recommend this place. It was overpriced and has small portions. I know they have been open a long time and have a lot of customers, but I won't be a customer again. read more

Great Food! Our first time visiting, definitely not our last. Very clean inside with friendly and helpful staff. Nice family atmosphere, dining area and bar separated. There is a lot of space between tables so we weren't packed in. Super comfortable. Losts of drink and food specials. I had the Italian Hoagie it was huge, and made with fresh meat and vegetables. We stopped for lunch on our way to West Virginia based on the reviews. Firstly, there's no sign outside on the actual building, so we weren't sure if we were in the right place (when we left we noticed there was a road sign). Very "bar like" ambiance, casual and basic. We stood by the "Wait To Be Seated" sign several minutes before someone greeted us, but there was a "help wanted" sign so I'm sure they're short handed. The waitress made up for it by being very quick and efficient. We had the zucchini fries as an appetizer, they were very good, crispy and hot. I had the hot roast beef "dinner" with a salad and baked potato. Nothing to write home about but it was good. Hubby had the fish sandwich. Wow! It was huge and delicious! Food is amazing. They have great wings and burgers it's worth the visit. They are very busy in their wing night so be aware.

Only diners in the place on a Friday afternoon. Both waitresses and another guy from the back proceeded to set up shop at the bar for their afternoon chat session while we were literally 5 feet from them trying to eat. The one waitress did her evening prep behind us the whole time with a EMPTY dining room where she could of done that!!!!! Like having vultures sit on your shoulder! Food was ok & in inexpensive which was the one plus side. Sad that we have so few options in the area and the staff ruined our meal with their complete lack of awareness of people trying to eat in their restaurant!!! Won't be back...should of stayed on course & went to Rye's! read more

Visited Paci's for fish fry. Regrettable experience. We got two appetizers: fried clam and cheesy bread. Neither were good. The fried clam was extremely chewy. The cheesy bread was nothing to write home about. The beer-battered fish hoagie was terrible. For everyone's information, the fish hoagie is just the fish sandwich x2. The bun was cheap (emphasis on "cheap"). The fish was overdone and tasted like bad fish sticks. It's not one large piece of fish like you would normally get with a fish sandwich at most other establishments. It's four or five fish "nuggets" wedged in between a cheap bun. Not great, to put it mildly. The fries were mediocre. I expect better for $50+ of my hard-earned money when my partner and I go out to enjoy a meal at a restaurant. Prices are going up and up at many restaurants, and it is unacceptable for the quality of food to be this disappointing. Will not be back. read more

Sadly, given the chance to redeem themselves from a double hair afflicted sandwich with a complimentary sandwich, Paci's failed to deliver. The Chicken Bacon Ranch was a over fried frozen patty, sparse bacon, and insipid ranch dressing on a thin bun, accompanied by fries cooked in grease that should've been change last week. Had I paid the $13 it was priced, I'd have thought it $12 too much. I had in the past bragged about the quality and value of their food and service, however, all good things come to an end it seems. I understand that the lone server/bartender may have been overwhelmed (if it was busy....it wasn't), but on a scale of one to five of personality, she ranked a negative five. Sad. A couple years ago they had an extended closure to invest big bucks into their kitchen, should have invested in a cook. read more

If you're in the area - you gotta go to Paci's. You wouldn't regret it! We got to Paci's around 7:30pm on a Thursday evening - the bar was busy, but we seated in the dining room right away. They literally have so many great choices on the menu. They gave a great selection of draft beers to choose from, so I ordered a beer and we started with a stuffed cream cheese pretzel. It was delicious! I didn't get any pictures of our entrees - my parents ordered pasta- aka Thursday nights are Make Your Own Pasta Night- they had so many great options to pick from. My parents loved it! I ordered the Chicken Marsala with a baked potato- it was amazing! I would definitely order this again! This is a great place , my wife and I visit often! The have great sandwiches, great dinners and the Best Ghost Wing Soup in the world and a fish sandwich called The Fisher that has Cole Slaw & Fresh Cut Fries on it and comes with Ghost Sauce on it but I substitute their homemade Creeper Sauce on mine! Another favorite is the Creeper Bites and Ghost Alfredo Pasta!! We're locals who love this place and still would if we weren't locals! read more

Great little roadside spot for beer and basic food. Very affordable with a nice selection of lunch and dinner items. A large group of us stopped in after work for dinner and drinks. The waitress was attentive, the menu was well priced and the food reminded me of something my mom would make. This is a good stop for a home cooked meal or some much needed comfort food. My husband loves their ghost pepper soup - it's just the right amount of heat and very savory and hearty. I'm not much for spicy food, but I tried his and enjoyed it. The ho ho cake for dessert was wonderful! My grandma makes this, and I was surprised to see it on the menu. It's just as good as my grandmas and would be worth a return trip! read more

Very nice atmosphere. I ordered a salad and it was really enjoyable. I loved that they added beets to it too. It definitely took it up a notch. I was with a large group and everyone's food looked amazing. Our waitress was tentative and all the staff was friendly. There menu had some interesting choices for those who like hot things. Oh where to begin! Pacis is an old stone barn converted into a restaurant/bar. Very beautiful, historic building which is also said to be haunted. Ghost stories as well as the history of this restaurant line the wall of the dining area. The Ghost Wing Soup is amazing....a daily special and a must-try. The other menu items I would highly recommend are the Reaperfredo, the Tony Burger, and the shaved ribeye sandwich. If you have room for dessert, the HoHo cake is to die for. Also famous for their Flippers (full size wings). Pacis is certainly a weekly stop for me. read more

I had the wings with their special ghost sauce - not as hot as I had imagined, and the wings were DRIPPING in grease. They were delicious, but I wish I'd had a towel to dry them off on prior to eating them. Clearly a local favorite, the wait staff were kind and attentive. A disturbance at the end of the bar (behind the bar) right as I was getting ready to leave made me believe that a server had found a mouse, or some other intruder, back behind the bar. The staff reacted to "its" discovery, tried to locate whatever it was, all without really stating to those of us around what was going on. Ick. Not that I'm in Brownsville, PA often, but between the food being "okay" and the "visitor" at the end of my meal, I think I'll pass on my next trip. read more

Typically very good food and service. Very reasonably priced too. But, our last trip was god awful. Took us over 2 hours from seating to leaving. Food was fine, server had her head up her arse. Lost our order, forgot appetizers of which we told her at least 5 times that we wanted. She did not notice that we never received our food all the while bringing food to tables that were seated 30 minutes or more after us. I finally had to go to the wait station to inform her of the fact that we had no food. Commented on Facebook where they quickly note positive comments, but were absolutely silent on this day with our negative comments. Will we go back? Ate here on a Thu from out of town. There were people waiting for tables by 6 pm. There was a make your own pasta night for $10.99. Your choice of pasta, sauce, vegetables, and protein. Pasta was done perfectly. Sauce was all made in house and quite good. Really quite good food at reasonable prices in a casual place with friendly folks. I got the roasted ribeye sandwich which was ok. The meat was good but the cheese was plastic-like. I got the flipper fries which made my entire bun to my sandwich soggy. Why not use two plates? Two people in our party got butter and garlic wings and both said they couldn't taste the garlic-just butter. The food was just too bland, plain and "blah". Paci's is a bar and restaurant built into an old (allegedly haunted) colonial stage coach house. They have a nice selection of beer on tap, and their original garlic buttered wings (Flippers) are a tasty treat for meat lovers. The place has a rich history, and luckily, the menu backs it up and will keep you going back for more. Best place in town for dinner and drinks with friends, reasonable prices, unique atmosphere, and friendly service. Lighting might be intimidating to newcomers, but people are harmless.
