Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

He is a bit of a hoarder and it is now no longer safe for her to be living with him there. Brian and Jacob with Moving with Grace helped us move her out of the hoarder house and into her own apartment at an assisted living facility. The friend knew we were coming with movers at 0830 to move the furniture out. We rang the doorbell and there was no answer. It was so quiet, I thought the house was empty. So, we enter the house and they guys get right to work. Shortly after they had started wrapping up the furniture, the friend, walks out of the bathroom in a night dress!! So weird and creepy considering he knew we were coming. And very mortifying. The house itself is very filthy and disgusting. There is thick dust and clumps of cat hair everywhere!! They showed up at the new place quickly and started unloading ASAP. I had leaf a couple things I needed across town so I left them to it. By the time I got back they were finished. They arrived at 8am, smelling like ashtrays and they did get to work rather quickly. However, it was only about an hour until I smelled more cigarettes. Then they started making excuses that there wasn't enough to move, even thought all the furniture and pictures were prepared to go along with two garages full of boxes and tubs. My pregnant wife and I were working alongside them and we were finishing packing some things in the kitchen. Long story short, about seven cigarette breaks later, one of the movers had seemed to run out of gas and I felt the need to step in on some of the heavier items like a large couch which I felt shouldn't have been my responsibility for since I had communicated that with the owner prior to him coordinating the particular men who would be helping out. By the time we arrived at my new house, I had become a third member of the movers team since they had taken so many breaks while packing the truck along with the fact that now one of them was dragging energy-wise and also ended up dropping a few items which all seemed fine at the time. I let the owner know that the refrigerator was on the opposite side which was completely undamaged and that I could provide many pictures proving the location of where the refrigerator was stored since it was in the background of many photos in my phone. Then I got sick with kidney stones that forced me to rest. I decided I needed help and called the owner. He sent 3 employees who came to my old apartment in South Natomas. I've never used movers before, so I stacked all my heavy, heavy bins, one large book case/shelf, my queen mattress, lots of clothing, my dresser I've had for 20+ years, my son's tiny dresser, and other miscellaneous items. They were very thoughtful and communicative. I felt so bad knowing that they arrived to the new townhouse apartment that is 3 floors inside and they managed through heavy and light to carry everything up and down. Truly, I am grateful for the 3 that came today. They even kept light spirits with jokes with 4th and 5th floors! They were also courteous and took photos of any bumps in the home prior to loading. The apartment townhouse did have a small chip from the paint prior moving in. If I move within the state again locally, I will definitely request their services. Also, I paid via Venmo. His moving team was extremely friendly, efficient and communicative, as well. A lot of the move did not go as planned, due to the original storage location owners being super unhelpful and unfriendly, and me realizing that a number of things simply had to go to junk disposal due to damage in the original location. As result Travis' team had to move the items by hand to the curb outside the storage facility. They also technically had to unload and reload 3 times, but they did it with a kind nod and smile and understood that it wasn't my fault. They purchased my contract from Royal Moving, did not contact me, tried to push my move date back and then showed up an entire day late and charged me an extra $1000 saying I had almost double what I inventoried in my original contract, despite the measurements I provided to the company who wrote my contract. They did not offer any compensation for their late driver and tried to tell me I was lucky they were driving directly to my destination because they could have taken up to 21 days, even though I will now be without my things for multiple extra days.
