I shared my concerns about their apparent lack of experience and how long I thought it might take to move my three-bedroom home. Her response surprised me. She said, "Well, we can cancel your move if you'd like." I replied that I did not want to cancel and that I would simply have to stop the move once I reached my budget. Shortly after our conversation, she sent me an email stating that if the movers were not treated well, they could cancel the move. This completely caught me off guard because nothing in our conversation suggested that the movers were being mistreated. I responded asking where that was coming from, and she replied, "If no language, then nothing to worry about. Wishing you a great day!" I later posted a review about my interaction with her. Shortly afterward, I received an email stating that my move had been canceled. The office instructed the movers to leave my belongings in the driveway. I was mortified. I called and pleaded with them to have the movers put my belongings back inside the house. I was told they would only do so if I deleted my review. To avoid being left with my belongings in the driveway, I reluctantly removed the review. We then paid the movers directly in cash for their time, as none of this was their fault. I waited over a month to post this review because it took an unusually long time to receive my deposit refund. I would be very cautious about booking this company. My experience with Paula was extremely disappointing. I don't know why she was so aggressive, but this is not the type of customer service or business practice I would ever want to deal with again.

Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

Movers around at the time frame given which was 9:30-10 AM. They showed up in a smaller box truck which I knew from the beginning wasn't going to fit everything. When I called to make this appointment I told them I had a 2 bedroom apartment with a bunk bed and a bed 2 dressers 3 vanities a sectional couch and 40 boxes then misc items. I showed them everything and told them I had to go to work if they needed me to please reach out. The movers were very communicative and would send me photos and updates or ask questions about what should go where, but it threw me off because when the move was finished and I arrived at my new home everything was in the living room. A few random boxes and other items were in the bedrooms but nothing was out where I asked. Not a big deal I'll handle it I'm just happy they moved everything for me. But here is when I started to get disappointed. Let's back up a little, I mentioned the truck would be to small and of course it was they mentioned they would have to go back to do a second trip I said ok no problem. Then my main living room tv remote is gone it was in the side table next to the couch and now it's gone and I have to buy a new one. I'm not terribly mad but it's just annoying, I know they work hard and it's not an easy job but I've never had to go back myself to get the "rest" or had things missing. Again I appreciate the movers and tipped them still but I probably won't be using them again. This move felt like more of a headache than a smooth transition like the past moves we've done. A lot of the move did not go as planned, due to the original storage location owners being super unhelpful and unfriendly, and me realizing that a number of things simply had to go to junk disposal due to damage in the original location. As result Travis' team had to move the items by hand to the curb outside the storage facility. They also technically had to unload and reload 3 times, but they did it with a kind nod and smile and understood that it wasn't my fault. Pacific Moving Company purchases contracts from other moving companies without notice or…read morecommunication and then does their "own measurements" upon arrival and charges double what was in the contract they purchased in order to meet their bottom line. They purchased my contract from Royal Moving, did not contact me, tried to push my move date back and then showed up an entire day late and charged me an extra $1000 saying I had almost double what I inventoried in my original contract, despite the measurements I provided to the company who wrote my contract. They did not offer any compensation for their late driver and tried to tell me I was lucky they were driving directly to my destination because they could have taken up to 21 days, even though I will now be without my things for multiple extra days.
