Brian did a good job coordinating the estimate and logistics, which included getting his crew and truck from south Sacramento to the Bay Area early enough to get packed, back to Rocklin, set up furniture in the apartment and drop off the equivalent of 12 large boxes at a storage facility, all by 7 pm. To do this, he recommended adding a 3rd person to the crew, which ended up being essential for success. On the day of the move, the crew left promptly at 7 am. They communicated on arrival at 9:15 when they departed, but traffic issues pushed the arrival to 10:15. They overcame this with the additional crew member, and were loaded up by 12:30 and on their way back to Rocklin. We found NO damage to any of the items. The entire move was well organized, with a crew that was polite, and personable. We heartily recommend this company.

Prior to the recent emergency, she was living independently with a friend. The friend is a male and is also elderly. He is a bit of a hoarder and it is now no longer safe for her to be living with him there. Brian and Jacob with Moving with Grace helped us move her out of the hoarder house and into her own apartment at an assisted living facility. The friend knew we were coming with movers at 0830 to move the furniture out. We rang the doorbell and there was no answer. It was so quiet, I thought the house was empty. So, we enter the house and they guys get right to work. Shortly after they had started wrapping up the furniture, the friend, walks out of the bathroom in a night dress!! So weird and creepy considering he knew we were coming. And very mortifying. The house itself is very filthy and disgusting. There is thick dust and clumps of cat hair everywhere!! I used Yelp to get several quotes and I picked Sacramento Brothers because they had the best quote and quick communication. They showed up the day of the move on time and got right to work. The truck was packed before I knew it without incident. I was also leaving a couple things behind and they were thoughtful enough to move them downstairs for me. They showed up at the new place quickly and started unloading ASAP. I had leaf a couple things I needed across town so I left them to it. By the time I got back they were finished. They quoted me a 3 hour minimum and finished just before 3 hours. They didn't try to pad the time at all and the bill was exactly what they quoted me. From start to finish, the move took just under 5 hours. They made the move fun and packed while playing some old school jams! They used blankets and plastic wrap around furniture for extra padding. Not a single item was damaged! They even lower the dolly very gently when unloading boxes. They packed everything like Tetris masters into the 26ft truck and made it 1 trip. When unloading at the new house, they confirmed where we wanted each box and piece of furniture unloaded. They arrived at 8am, smelling like ashtrays and they did get to work rather quickly. However, it was only about an hour until I smelled more cigarettes. Then they started making excuses that there wasn't enough to move, even thought all the furniture and pictures were prepared to go along with two garages full of boxes and tubs. My pregnant wife and I were working alongside them and we were finishing packing some things in the kitchen. Long story short, about seven cigarette breaks later, one of the movers had seemed to run out of gas and I felt the need to step in on some of the heavier items like a large couch which I felt shouldn't have been my responsibility for since I had communicated that with the owner prior to him coordinating the particular men who would be helping out. By the time we arrived at my new house, I had become a third member of the movers team since they had taken so many breaks while packing the truck along with the fact that now one of them was dragging energy-wise and also ended up dropping a few items which all seemed fine at the time. They ended up leaving and I didn't even get the chance to personally inspect all the items since I was completely exhausted from the move. The next day I woke up sore and had a few errands to run, then back to the house. I was moving some boxes around from room to room and noticed that a desk that's been in my family for years was split down about halfway the back of the top. So, I took a few photos and sent them to the owner of Noah's and his response was to instantly claim it had been too long and he wasn't responsible. Then he claimed that he could know if I had done it myself. Then, he stated he was refusing to take responsibility because his mover had responded back to him that he didn't think the damage was done during the move, and that we had a small refrigeration on top of it which had likely caused the crack. I let the owner know that the refrigerator was on the opposite side which was completely undamaged and that I could provide many pictures proving the location of where the refrigerator was stored since it was in the background of many photos in my phone. The owner continued to use AI assisted responses to communicate with me and refused to take responsibility. I wish he were as careful with his customer's things as he is with his communication and denials after the payment has been made. You've been warned. Even if he offers you a "deal" don't do it!!
