The battery light came on. Sign of a loose belt.
Ruth J.

I had a battery and alternator replaced in my 1988 Honda. They put the old belt back on. They should of put a new one on. I noticed the battery light. Then the belt broke. I called the shop to see if they warranty work. They said no. When an alternator is replaced the belt should be replaced. This belt broke on 94 during a storm so I lost all power. Absolutely terrifying. I could tell by the way I was treated when I picked the car up that something would be wrong. A 18.00 belt. I paid 600 for battery and alternator The belt should have been replaced when alternator was replaced.Go somewhere else especially if you are a woman. Total rip off.

Been going here since a teenager. Top tier service. Best prices in town. Highly recommend!

Quick service and reasonably priced. They did my wheel bearings on my car and had it turned around quick.

I'm always nervous going to mechanics because I've been ripped off in the past, but these guys do quality work for a fair price!

Two weeks later took it to my neighborhood Firestone for new tires and an alignment on the informed me that crazy thing everything up under My Car was pressing except the side frame. It was rusted completely. This was never mentioned to me. I'm picking My Car up for struts and socks. It can be my only assumption that they switched on. I haven't gone back since.!

Very disappointed. My son's vehicle overheated and had to be towed somewhere for repairs. I…read morepicked this place due to it's proximity to his house and the ratings I found online. I live a few hours away so I wasn't planning on fixing it myself and didn't have any personal knowledge of any repair shops in the area. The only thing the shop found was a bad water pump. However, they immediately quoted him $8,000 for head/head gaskets/cooling system rebuild (with no guarantee that it would be fixed completely) or $12,000 for a new engine (with guarantee). They did do a TDS test on the coolant which shows it was contaminated. That test alone is not enough to automatically assume head gasket or head failure particularly on a vehicle with 180K miles which just had a catastrophic cooling system failure I had the vehicle towed to my house, I replaced the water pump, serpentine belt and flushed the cooling system. I've pressure tested the cooling system, did a combustion leak test and have driven it extensively, it is just fine. Total cost $170. I won't be recommending he return here.

This is not a legitimate business. They have multiple names, no website, and ONLY accept cash…read more They made somebody I know wait several hours in below freezing weather (his car was impounded by them in front of his eyes, he accidentally parked in a parking spot only for University of Michigan professors that isn't clearly marked, particularly not in the snow), AND lied to him. They REPEATEDLY told him that "a driver will be there in 15 minutes! He waited from 3 PM to 10 PM. When I called the number for them online, the first thing that I asked was who contracts them the most frequently in Ann Arbor. The man said " What?" I said "What businesses or institutions contract you the most frequently in Ann Arbor?" He replied, "MA'am, do you need a tow truck? We're busy and it's cold out" then hung up on me. They literally forced someone to wait outside in the cold for 6 hours, always saying "15 more minutes and a driver will show up!" It's so unprofessional to have multiple names for the same business, NOT have a website, NOT accept credit card payments, lie ("15 more minutes" turns into 6 hours of waiting outside, refuse to answer questions AND rudely bring up the fact that it's cold outside (don't customer service reps sit inside)? This isn't even a business. Y'all need to stop leaving negative reviews and instead contact IRS about the company potentially not paying taxes and potentially committing tax fraud. They don't have customers, leaving a bad review won't help. But contacting an organization to investigate them might put them out out of business if they go to prison for "accidentally" not reporting the entirety of their paid ONLY in cash earnings.

Predatory and Unethical Practices My vehicle was towed right…read morein front of me after being parked for less than 10 minutes. When I immediately spoke to the tow truck driver, he told me he would release my car and not tow it if I paid $200 in cash on the spot. I didn't have cash, so the tow proceeded. I was then informed that getting my car out of the impound would require $400, cash only. I was told the wait would be 3-3 1/2 hours because they were busy. In reality, it took approximately 10 hours to retrieve my car. I waited outside in freezing, snowy conditions for over three hours and repeatedly called the office. I was told a driver would arrive around 7 PM, then repeatedly told "15-20 minutes," until about 10 PM. When the vehicle was finally released, I was again required to pay $400 in cash only, and I was not provided with any receipt. The cash-only demands, lack of receipts, misleading delays, and request for money on the spot to avoid towing raise serious concerns. This was an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience, and I would not recommend this company.
