Went to Packard Dental today and met with Jared Packard. First time I've ever felt comfortable at a dentist office. Far too often did it seem like I would walk into a dentist office and just see them counting how much money they could get out of me. Obviously these professionals are running a business and not a charity, but many dentists I have been to seem to only be as friendly as your pocketbook is deep. Dr. Jared seemed different. I really liked my previous dentist. Now I have a new dentist that I like very much. I was aLooking for a new dentist and was referred to Packard dental. I was nervous to come here my first appointment, for i have never had the best experience with dentists, considering I have had lots of dental work done. I was shocked to find that as soon as I walked into PD, I was greeted with a smile and was told to just wait one moment. I was promptly taken back shortly after to the chair. Everything is brand new, and every single employee seems so happy to be working here. Still unsure of how it would go, I was then greeted by Dr. Matt. He is extremely nice! And his assistant Melanie is the best! They work as a great team and I immediately felt comfortable and confident that I would be in great hands. I saw Dr. Jared Packard to discuss new composites on my two front teeth. The one previous composite I had was not shaped correctly to match my other front tooth or correctly color matched. Dr. Jared examined my teeth and agreed I needed to correct the situation. He was very thorough in explaining what he would do and how he would do it. He also suggested I have my teeth whitened before he did the procedure. I made my appointments and Erica did the whitening procedure. I am 76 years old and had no idea how much my teeth had stained over the years. I was very pleased with the results. I call Erica the "Whitening and Brightening Expert." (She brightens your day with her pleasant manner.) I went back a week later and Dr. Jared did the composites. He was gentle and very precise. I am extremely happy with my new smile. Impressed with the new up-to-date advanced equipment. As a new patient I was taken for a tour of the facility while also getting a 'stand-up' 360 degree X-ray of my teeth. First time I'd ever seen such a machine. Everyone was friendly, competent, had full estimate of work plan ready right after plan was designed and work performed quickly and efficiently. wow well where do I start...As Soon as I walk in I was immediately greeted by the front receptionist Leesy(i believe thats what i recall-hopefully I got it right) and when I walked up to the receptionist desk I was even greeted to a handshake by Leesy and was also welcomed as a new patient...I was really impressed by that..you go Glen Coco...I didn't even had to do paperwork-I had that all done prior to my appointment and the way I was able to submit the paperwork online via their website was fantastic it was easy and more convenient than having to go sit down and fill it out....Also, after sitting down for about 5 minutes I was escorted to the back by Karla who was nice and told me about the quick process for new patients and started off with a panoramic X-ray then moved to a private cozy room where I was received more x-rays and the process was quick and painless.....After the X-rays I was given a remote to watch tv(yes I am saying you have your own personal tv and you get to control it) and waited for less than 5 minutes and was then introduced to my Dentist Dr. Jared Packard now where do i begin with him...He was fantastic he asked questions about my overall history and about my dental health..He shows that he cares about his patients...He asks what would you like your goals to be with your overall dental care/health......After examining my teeth he did see where I needed some major improvement and he recommended I purchase a electric tooth Brush and well I did and I got the best one by Oral-B which was the Oral-B 7000 and holy cow am I excited with my new Tooth Brush---ANYONE OUT THERE WHO IS LOOKING TO PURCHASE A ELECTRIC TOOTH BRUSH GET THE ORAL-B 7000 BEST MONEY I EVERY SPENT..........now on to the the Dental Hygienist Mindy when I cam back 2 days later for this part of my treatment plan she did an amazing job and was really friendly and also recommended a few items I get to help with my dental care btw even in that room I had a tv to watch while she worked her magic...checking out was even easy, Leesy worked with my to get my other appointments set up and even worked with me since I have a busy work schedule...OVERALL ALL THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS SUPERIOR TO ANY OTHER PLACE I HAVE BEEN TO..THEY MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE FAMILY...I AM HAPPY AND PROUD THAT I FOUND THIS DENTAL OFFICE AND I AM NEVER CHANGING OFFICES WHILE I AM IN CALIFORNIA.....PACKARD DENTAL DESERVES 10+ STARS...I WILL BE RECOMMENDING THIS OFFICE TO MY FRIENDS=) read more

I use to go to Packard Dental when I lived here before while stationed at Camp Pendleton. I moved away for 4 1/2 years and now I'm back. I knew I would be looking them up again! I wasn't disappointed! Had my first cleaning and check up since I've been back. Only thing that has changed is the location, which is very close by the old one, and a couple newer faces, but the level of service remains excellent!
