W O W. want quality tacos? Don't walk past this taco truck N O sir. My wife and I ordered from here and got the street tacos and quesadillas. Geez the amount of flavor packed in both our meals was incredibly great. The quesadilla had an awesome grilled taste to the tortilla and that chicken and cheese combo is always a trip to pleasure town. My wife's carne asada street tacos were heavenly just the perfect amount of lime and very juicy. This place is small and tucked on the corner but if you venture down that side street and order up I promise you won't be dissatisfied. Most places give you the option of tipping as soon as you complete your order by turning the payment pad or handing it to you so you may tip or decline discreetly. I recently started tipping AFTER being served my food because of all the times I tipped before being served yet the employees weren't polite or didn't even give the bare minimum to deserve a tip. I always tip the standard 20%, more if it was exceptional, even 10% if you do terrible. Today, Saturday May 27th 2023, cashier with a beard, plain black shirt and chain (picture that) took my order then with people in line said "Tip?" and I said "No tip, not yet" and get this, he mean mugged me like I burned his house down. So my reaction was to ask "Is there more you need from me like a signature?" And he said "No, but no tip from you?" trying to embarrass me and guilt me into it and look bad in front of the people behind me. No "thank you for your order," no "that'll be 25 minutes" because it took that long, just turned away. And that is exactly why I don't tip before being served anymore. This is my first ever 1 star review. And you bet your expletive I checked mine and my son's food to make sure he didn't mess with it. They proved that good help is hard to find these days. First time customer today, I ask for crunchy tacos and my tacos were soggy and had no crunch. I asked for cilantro and onion and got two leaves and three small little pieces of onion. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to tacos. Well, any food I eat, but tacos most of all. And because I eat them like a 5 year old would like them, with only meat, cheese, and sour cream, if you mess up the key ingredients, I am going to know it. Paco's Tacos are ok, but not terrific. If you have a custom taco truck, shouldn't you be making your own tortillas? Or at least differentiating yourself from the others by NOT just throwing your ingredients down on two regular off the shelf tortillas? Paco's Asade is ok, but coupled with just ok tortillas, the result is not exceptional. And on a bit of a cheapskate note, if I let you keep the expensive'ish fresh ingredients like tomatoes, or lettuce, or cilantro, why do I then get what seems like even less of the toppings I want? Cheese and sour cream are not cheap, but they are less than fresh rabbit food. So, I shan't be back. Its a bit of a bummer because a friend highly recommended Paco's and I gave them an equal chance. Alas, I had 5 of Paco's Tacos and afterward, went to my favorite red taco truck in Hoody and got 4 just to make sure my mouth didn't think I was losing my mind. Sorry, no photos. I was really hungry one day and me and my dad stopped by the pacos tacos food truck which I had seen various times online but had never gone there. But when we went there we were curious about the foods and the owner was friendly and kind to describe his menu. And the foods were really good I ordered a carne asada burrito and my dad some tacos and they look good. I really enjoyed my order and it was unexpectedly delicious.
