Our fave items: -King Kong Arepa with chicken (chicken, black beans, avocado, fried egg, feta, and Ally's cilantro-garlic sauce (we ordered this fresh, flavorful sauce on the side)) -King Kong Arepa with pork -Cachapa The arepas are substantially stuffed so I'd probably share one next time. This shop appears to rely heavily on pre-made, artificially flavored syrups rather than fresh…read moreingredients. Behind the counter, there are large plastic containers of syrup concentrates. Based on what I observed and tasted, the drinks are essentially syrup mixed with water and ice, which results in an overly sweet, artificial flavor and unnatural coloring. Even as someone familiar with flavored boba drinks, this was among the lowest quality I've had. While the menu lists "real fruit" options, the ordering process doesn't distinguish between fresh fruit and flavored syrups, and the drink I received did not taste like it contained real fruit. It was ultimately undrinkable. When I brought this up, I was told I would need to purchase a new drink rather than having the issue addressed, which was disappointing from a customer service standpoint. I had ti throw the drink away. One of our drinks (taro coconut) was better, but still not strong enough to offset the overall experience. Given the quality and service, I would not recommend this shop to anyone that values high quality boba.
