I ordered the Lifeguard Bento, which comes with the OG fried Spam musubi, truffle tater tots, choice of poke (I got spicy mayo), and rice for $20. The fried Spam musubi was so good that I'm not sure I can eat musubi any other way now. I also thought the truffle tater tots were an odd choice to offer at first, but they ended up being some of the best tots I've ever had, and the portion was generous. The spicy mayo poke was fresh and flavorful, making the whole plate a pretty solid value. This is one spot I'll definitely be coming back to every time I come back.

From the outside it looks pretty simple--just a white truck with a menu--but don't let that fool you. I ordered the mahi-mahi fish tacos, which came with red rice and beans, and I have to say they were some of the best fish tacos I've had in my life. My wife ordered the fish and chips (also mahi mahi), and it was delicious too. I've eaten at plenty of food trucks over the years, and this one takes the top spot. She is open daily from 10-7::30. You will probably have a wait of 10-20 min as she is very popular and there are usually others who have ordered there. We are particularly fond of the pad Thai and the bbq chicken and beef skewers. Portions are enough for two and the prices reasonable. Orders are made to order , come out super fresh and hot. The sauce on the side is perfect. This place only proves even more that food trucks are here to stay and the staple of the vacation value. Like most trucks they take cards or cash. The owner/manager must have seen our shock because he stood by our table and explained why he had to charge these extra prices due to high grocery costs in Hawaii. Other places in Kauai do not have these insane extra charges. We were being nickel and dimed for everything far beyond what would be expected for food costs in Hawaii. Would not recommend.
