Let's talk about my love-hate relationship with PacSun in Pearlridge. Honestly, it feels like walking into a ghost town sometimes.... lots of clothes, but where are the people? I mean, I get it: the vibe is chill, but could we at least get a friendly "hello" instead of crickets? Every time I stroll in, I have high hopes of snagging some trendy gear, only to find myself in a game of "Where's Waldo?".... except Waldo is the staff and I can never seem to spot them! Seriously, I could use a personal shopper, but all I get is an echo of my own footsteps. My daughter loves this store and is all about the latest styles, but I tend to turn into a fashion ghost myself....just floating around aimlessly because, spoiler alert: no one's here to help! And let's not even talk about the times we show up and the place is just...closed. Is it a store or a secret club? If they gave out membership cards for the most elusive shopping experience, I'd be a shoo-in! If you're looking for a welcoming shopping experience, you might want to think twice before venturing into this PacSun. I mean, I'd love to spend money here, but I just can't with the lack of enthusiasm and engagement. My daughter will keep coming back for the clothes, but me? Staff at the Pearlridge store are friendly. The COMPANY RETURN POLICY IS TERRIBLE. My daughter bought a pair of shorts on Sunday, tried them on, realized they were not the right size for her, brought them back within a matter of minutes with the tags intact and the receipt ready, and was told that the company policy is that they DO NOT ALLOW SAME-DAY RETURNS! What in the Corporate-Greed-Insanity?... How is that policy even LEGAL? Like seriously.... I have never come across a rule like this in all my 40-something years of being a consumer. No same-day returns?!!?? Bruh. I will make sure to NEVER ever buy anything again from any store that has this as a policy. read more

Shopping? yes ma'am! I enjoy this store quite a bit..Also love the fact that if you can't find something in the store, they will call other stores for you! Or you can buy crap online! Well, they always have fun sales and a variety of clothes. I always find something in my size although, with all jeans/long pants, the short length is still way too long for me. The staff in this particular store were friendly and not over-bearing (now granted, I came to the store back in January) The sale we caught was just super awesome! We came in when they had their "Buy 3 get 1 free deal." We really only needed to pick up slippers for an upcoming trip, but the experience we had at this store was by far the WORST retail experience I've had in my entire life. The cashier was extremely rude and informed us that he wouldn't ring us up unless we go to the front of the store and get more items to complete the buy 3 items promo. We thanked him, but told him that we were only interested in the slippers. The cashier then pointed to the customer waiting behind me and told her, "I'll ring you up first because they need to go look around the store first. I'm not going to help them until they look around." The girl behind us then responded, "No... you can ring them up first, it's okay." The cashier again stated, "I can't help them if they don't walk around the store to look for more items." The cashier then threw his arms up in the air and walked away from the cash wrap. My boyfriend and I just stood at the register in disbelief. What the heck just happened?! We then walked up to another employee, which happened to be the manager. He rung our purchase up, but then said the same thing about the whole "buy 3 get 1 free" thing which started to get really annoying. To top things off, The Manager then pointed to the Zumiez and HIC bag I was holding and said, "You should've came here first because the clothes you bought from the other stores are going to fall apart...We have better things here." I couldn't believe how horrible the service was here! I'm pretty sure my jaw dropped because I didn't think it was possible for a retail store to be this horrendous. I don't know if I'll be back again, but I got horrible customer service today. I was returning a pair of Nike shoes that I bought at the Ala moana location which costed $110. I got the wrong size and I just wanted to return it. When I entered the store, I just thought I'd still look at what they had. This short, light skinned, asian lady kept pushing me to try on a different shoe size, telling me it was one of the popular brands, and whatnot. She was very irritating and pushy! As I was ready to start to return it at the cashier, she kept pausing to still ask me if I want to try on a different size and being pushy! All I wanted to do was walk in, return it, and walk right out! read more

The Jeans are what keeps me coming back! They have really good deals when it comes to the jeans, sometimes they have buy 1 get the other 50% and jeans don't come cheap nowadays! And when I was shopping there for some christmas shopping they had an amazing sale! It was buy one item get the 2nd one 60% but it had to be the same category, for example if you buy a mens shirt you can only get a discount on any male item(s). No mixing and matching but you can't beat that deal anywhere else right now! The customer service was really visible and you could tell the difference between the Ala Moana Store. Here at Pearldige you felt more welcomed and it was very easy to shop around, not so busy! The workers were really friendly and approachable which is always helpful! The only negative about this place are the prices! Although you get good deals when they do have specials you can pay more than you should when they don't have any promotions going on so at times your wallet hurts! read more

I just went to Pacsun with my friend and the cashier was quite rude. She urged us to buy more when all we wanted to do was pay and leave. I bought a pack of three ring set which was absolutely gorgeous. I left them in my jewlrey box and a day later, the rings tarnished and looked all old and dirty. I tried wiping them off and cleaning them but nothing worked. I was very disappointed expecially since it was $13! read more

I don't know why this place has low ratings. I have never had a problem with the service of this place. The staff is so chill and the people are so friendly. I was able to order something through the PAC sun app in store and they helped me with my order. They even abided by the fall clearance of 70% off because didn't have my size and style. read more

I am either losing weight, or their sizes are "Vanity Sizes". I shouldn't really complain though. There was good deals when I went shopping on day with a friend. She found a cute pair of boots (the last pair!) and got a good price on them from the manager. The shirts,and shorts all in the front and side of the store were buy one and get another 50% off, as well as accessories. I have never bought jeans from PacSun, but the washes are nice and the shelves were well-stocked with all sizes and fits. The deal for jeans were buy 2 for ~$60, which is a damn good deal to me. One thing I find confusing is the fitting rooms. I am never comfortable just walking in to a fitting room without asking. Sometimes the doors are locked, sometimes they are not. I have not seen an associate attend the fitting room before, but I did have someone talk to me from the cashier counter before saying "I'll be right there," since the door was locked. Meh whatever. Y365C R2 #001/365 Aaahhh my computer is out of commission so I have some major catching up to do for my 365 Challenge. There's a chance I might have to start over :/ There's no way I'll write my reviews through my phone lol Well for what its worth here's my review ;) I've paid my visits to this location a good amount of times, mainly for gifts, and it hasn't failed any of those times. It just felt like the store was a little understaffed, it seemed like there has only been 2 people or 3 if ones hiding in the store working. I've been greeted & have been assisted by the only sales people on the floor, but it wasn't crazy in the store at the time when I was in. I'm sure if it was busy, I would've been one of those customers simply smiled at or even ignored. As for merchandise, PacSun has moved up over the years generally in style & select items are better quality. This place has gotten a lot more fashion forward for teens & possibly college students looking for some surf brands without paying an arm & a leg (early 20's) when they have a sale, your bound to find something. Way back when, I found a Billabong dress (did not look like Billabong at all, & majority of Billabong clothing is very good quality). I always find my brother-in-laws gifts here since he always seems to like specific styles/ items (& of course with the help of my sister-in-law) it always makes it easier to shop for him during the holidays. I personally haven't absolutely loved pieces for myself here (with the exception of that 1 Billabong dress I scored in the sale section, way back when). I would rather spend more $ on those pieces that will last me some time. Versus something that will only last a year or so & I'll get all dramatic over like a piece of me went away... I went into the store with one thing on my mind: a necklace. I was in a rush and was hoping to get in and get out in less than 3 minutes or so. First of all, I was not greeted; not that big of a deal. I made my way to the back to the accessories, picked out a necklace, and went to cash out. However, there were NO employees at the cash registers, so I stood near them for a good minute or two before any employees even approached me and asked me if I needed help. When the employee approached me, I told him I was ready to pay, and he informed me about the "Buy 3 get one free" special they are having for the entire store and suggests me to look around. I said "that's okay, I just want this right now," and what happened to me next was honestly the WORST experience I have ever had while shopping. This employee straight up tells me "No, go look around, it's buy 3 get one free for the whole store, if you want to buy one item go to Claire's, they have some kind of buy one get one half off deal," and then he WALKS AWAY. So, I was left standing there, necklace in hand, really confused and annoyed, and ended up leaving without the necklace I wanted because no one wanted to let me buy it. I get that it's a good deal, it's good to promote specials, but I really didn't need/want 4 items at that moment. I just wanted a necklace. Everyone has their own personal reasons for buying (or not buying) what they want, and I felt that mine were highly disregarded and disrespected. To have an employee practically REFUSE to let me buy something from their store, AND suggest me to go somewhere else if I didn't want to buy more than one item just baffles me. Is no sale better than a one item sale? I guess he thought so. I'm not one to make a big deal of these things, either. I thought that maybe I had just took it the wrong way, but I see more people had this problem. To make matters worse (oh yeah, it gets worse), is that I later found out that the employee that "helped" me is the store manager. WORST STORE, EVER. NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN. read more

The service here is plain awful. Total Associates in Store: 3. Total Associates behind cash register: 3. Total Associates greeting: 0. There is no service here whatsoever! It would have probably had better service had there been NO workers in store! What a shame because I actually like the products that PacSun has to offer. Definitely do not want to go into this location even if it's so close to my house. Ala Moana PacSun is way better in terms of service & is more worth it despite the 10 mile commute I'd have to make! read more

Bad Customer Service!!! I went to the store & had a $10 coupon. The bottom was on sale and it's $15 so badically I only paid $5 plus tax. & then after he gave me my receipt, he threw my bottom at me. Another hit and miss place for me. I was lucky when I went on Sunday, they had a deal for dresses buy one get one free. I guess rompers are considered dresses. I also got two bracelets. I ended up paying $20 for items that would've cost me over $70. I have to admit I got a good deal and the quality of the rompers I bought are pretty good. read more

I love PAC sun! This store has always been one of my favorites ever since! I love the cute clothes here especially the shorts. Very comfortable! I only shop here when there's a sale going on. I rarely ever buy regular priced items here because they are pretty high priced. The customer service here is alright. When ever I'm ready to check out or try something on in the fitting room none of the workers are ever around to help. I will keep shopping at PAC sun for a very long time! I come here once and a while and, when I do, they always have a good sale going on. The flow in this store is nice because it's not too crowded and there's lots of room to make your way from the front to the back of the store. I come here for jeans, basics like long-sleeves and shirts, and guy shirts. I feel that their jeans are a hit or miss with certain body types. However, I like the pattern jeans they have. I bought a patterned pant that fit, but after I put them in the dryer the length shortened a bit... I wasn't expecting that to happen... Be sure to try on the clothes before you buy it. I feel that some of their clothes have an awkward fit. Overall, it's a good store for casual clothes and some nice deals if you're timing is right. read more

Love PacSun, hate this one. As of recently, they've gone under new management and since then I've been hesitant to step into the store. The manager is extremely rude and always makes me feel uncomfortable when he rings me up. Both of the times I've bought something there in the past year he's always pressured me into looking around more. He even made a comment about how I was "buying the cheapest thing in the store." So, I love pacsun. If I could have yelped all the times I have been here and all the pacsuns I have been to on the mainland I would not have been a duke, I'd be the owner. I spent alot of money here, which is where I begin my review. For the good stuff pricey, duh for brand names what else would I expect. They do have good sales on certain occasions which will leave you walking out with bags and bags and the beginning of bad credit, joking obviously. The staff was very friendly and cleanliness of the store was good. It was not too crowded as it was early in the day or because alot of people just don't have the money to shop thanks to the economic downturn of this nation, but hey I'm a yelper not a politician. So my friend and I was buying things from the back section "buy one get three free" we split it where I bought two things and he grabbed one so we were going to cash them out. When all of a sudden the Manager says grab three more items, because we are cheating them out and he wouldn't let us buy them from splitting the sale between me and my friend . Then I say "I guess you don't want our money" and the employee replies with "Ok guys my Manager is really strict so either you guys grab three more items or nothing, which I am cool with". After calling both Ala Moana and Pearlridge stores for an item that both representatives from both stores assured me that they could order for me online thereby saving on the shipping, I made the trip to Ala Moana only to be told that they could not order it since it was not available to them. Now this was after two separate phone calls to the two stores in which I gave the specific product name. .In addition, the young man who helped me was the same person I spoke with on the phone just the day before as he remembered our conversation. I wish I could put negative 5 starts. I was literally told I could not buy the beanie that I wanted because it didn't cost enough. The cashier went on to tell me that he could only ring up my purchase if it was $40 or more and if it wasn't I should go somewhere else. He started naming me other stores with beanies, told me to come back tomorrow when he wasn't working or buy it online! Something about how my $20 purchase would make him look bad to his manager. Ummm...what sales person would rather hand NO sale?? And tries to get you to go to another store?? I really wanted the beanie so explained how I am going on a trip I need warm clothing etc. but then he says "good! Go buy it on your trip maybe there is a Pacsun where your going." I left in search of a beanie elsewhere but there was nothing I liked so I went back to get the damn beanie. Now there were two cashiers ganging up on me and absolutely refused to sell it to me unless I found more things to buy that total at least $40. After ten minutes I gave up on the beanie and left empty handed. I felt discriminated against, unwelcome and really upset. Plus nothing to keep my head warm on my trip! read more

the customer service here is shit. if you try to shop here during a sale (i.e:day after Xmas) good luck! I tried to make a return from a christmas gift purchased online. I had the online receipt, but without the credit card, you can't get refunded (only exchanges are allowed). okay, so I tried some stuff on (horrible fitting room service, they just tell you to go in right after someone comes out but the doors lock when closed so you have to flag an employee down to unlock the door). after waiting in line for 15(!) minutes (I was 2nd in line!), I tried to exchange for a top priced at $24.95. well the cashier told me (with attitude) that I could only exchange for a total of $29.99 (without tax). well every price tag in the store ends with a 5 so how am I supposed to do that?! after spending over a half hour total in there, I came out with the same item. needless to say, this place gets one star. if I could, it would get zero. do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else. read more
