I haven't checked out the other places locally for paddle boarding but I would have a hard time believing that any other place could compare with here. Just go! ... We wanted to kayak out on the keys and found these guys on Yelp. They were really friendly and they'd have a nice new place in tavernier, it's low key not touristy. The prices are reasonable, it's $35 whether it's 2 hours or all afternoon. $25 for one hour. They were very relaxed and assured it us it was all very safe. They also do lots of paddle boats and will deliver boats to you if that is easier. I highly recommend them. read more

What an awesome experience! Went out with Scott on a tour at 2pm. It was our first time paddle boarding and we had a great time. The tour takes you into the mangroves and that was my favorite part. We had so much fun looking for wildlife and learning to paddle board. We saw a sea turtle, nurse shark, various fish and some birds. The tour was very informative about the animals and habitat. And Scott helped us when we were having issues with our paddle boards. I appreciated how patient and kind he was. Would highly recommend this location. They were awesome!!! read more

The standup paddle board trip through the mangrove trail stands as the highlight of our trip to the Keys. The short tutorial from our guide turned us novices into confident paddlers, including our ten year old who also got a tow from our guide when it got a little windy. We enjoyed our tour along the creek and then we're spellbound by the the magical tunnel of mangroves where we saw and learned about plenty of small marine wildlife, including upside down jelly fish that we could safely pick up. In the middle of the trail we had to kneel or sit on the paddle boards to fit through and could pull ourselves along by the mangrove roots when it got a little narrow for the paddles, which added to the adventure. Considering how long we were out and how much we experienced, the $50pp seems like a bargain. read more

I rented two Kayaks ( single and tandem) from this awesome place. Great location, staff was outstanding, showers out back, large clean bathrooms to change in. The kayaks were in great shape along with the paddles and gear. Price was very reasonable!! Wouldnt hesitate to go back and wanna try out paddle boarding. We went on a 2 hour eco tour. 3 of us had never been paddle boarding and I had only gone once. Our tour guide, Susan, was very knowledgeable about the Keys and I learned a lot. I encourage beginners to try it as it is a beautiful way to see the Keys. Don't forget to wear Sunscreen. read more

We've been wanting to try paddle boarding for a while and a weekend in Key Largo seemed like the perfect opportunity. We enjoyed breakfast at Made 2 Order next door, then arrived at Paddle! the Florida Keys for a guided tour at 9am. We were warmly greeted and got set up with some really nice paddle boards. I got to use one that was brand spanking new! Instructor Joe was really nice and informative on safety and helped us feel comfortable. I was completely nervous and shaky at first on the board. He was patient and helped us start out slowly. We learned how to stand up on the paddle boards, get our balance, then paddle with control. It was cool to paddle through the mangroves and see the fish swimming below. We had some current pushing us back on the last leg of our tour, so we took an alternative route to get back and Joe went and got the truck to pick us up, so happy he had a backup plan. After the tour we asked for a recommended lunch spot and Joe said Hobo's Cafe in Northern Key Largo was a great spot. It was on the way since we were heading out of town afterward. Hobo's Cafe did not disappoint! Great place to fuel up with delicious eats after a morning of paddle boarding :) read more

We stayed at the Hampton Inn and saw some other guests with kayaks that they had rented from this company. The owner delivers them to you at your hotel and picks them up 234 hours later. Quick delivery, reasonable prices. We rented two singles, and spent hours (off an on) on the water exploring the mangroves. Highly recommend. read more

Had a very good paddleboard lesson here. The instructor did a great job of explaining everything and was very patient. There were only three of us on the lesson which was nice. They were very flexible about where we could go and how long we were out. Silently gliding through the mangroves was the high point. We had a great time overall. My first time paddleboarding. I found it a little tippy and I wondered if I should have had a larger board. My wife and I had the same sized boards but, I weigh twice as much as her. read more

Went down to the Keys with no specific plans and after a nice lunch I saw a sign on the road for paddleboarding and kayak rentals. When we went into the store we were greeted by many nice people. The store itself, had a lot of boards and decks for sale as well as many other cool items for sale. We rented two paddleboards at $35 for the day. We saw a map of where to go and then we were off! We spent about two hours out. Really loved the area in which we paddled around (cool houses and mangroves) and the staff was super chill and nice. When we came back we rinsed off and changed in the bathrooms and was off! No hotel needed! Was a great Sunday Funday and will def be back soon. read more

Great staff and rental prices. We went kayaking and they have plenty of inventory for single and double seated kayaks. They charge you a set fee for all day rentals and they will even let you leave and come back same day to go back out. Very friendly guys running the shop. Cool mangrove areas to navigate through and a nice small island about a half mile from launch point with sand bar to hang out and relax. read more

This place is great! In a really nice location in Tavernier... You get to paddle through canals of beautiful homes and than out into the ocean or the bay. We went out to a nearby small island where there was a sand bar and got time to relax as much as you wanted under the sun. Since the prices are so cheap, we paid for the entire day's rental of the SUPs and didn't have to hurry back... so good! The staff is awesome, fun, informative and laid back. Great shop with suits and gear and they also have a juice bar next door to fill up with afterwords! Only an hour and 20 minutes from brickell, I definitely found my spot to go SUP in the keys!!! This was my first paddle board experience and I'm glad I went to this shop. Scott was SUPER busy, but he still got everyone out on the water with proper instructions and light-hearted encouragement for this first timer. The boards were in great condition - practically new. Scott showed us a map and gave clear instructions where we should go. He adjusted our paddles to our height. Mainly, he gave me excellent advice for my first paddle board experience. I bought a certificate for this shop at a charity event. I never ever write reviews but this place is awesome! My husband and I are not from the area and needed something fun to do for the day without breaking the bank. We called Paddle! and Mike answered the phone. He was extremely helpful and answered all of our questions. They have very clean and sizable restrooms which are perfect for changing in and out of swimsuits. They also have guided tours to take you around the area. We decided to explore on our own; however, Mike was helpful pointing out some must-see spots and danger zones. I definitely recommend this place for anybody looking for adventure on the cheap. read more

We enjoyed a kayak tour today. The tour was educational and a lot of fun. Kelly was our guide and she was very laid back and a real joy to spend a couple of hours with. The minus star goes to our check in experience. We were managed by a pushy, overselling employee who couldn't help but try to up sell to us and then when she was running our transaction cut across another employee to try up sell to his customer. The two employee then went on to have a open argument in front of us. It was totally unprofessional and made the customers feel uncomfortable. Thank goodness Kelly saved our day as we were not looking forward to the tour with the other employee. Thanks Kelly! read more

The guided kayaking tour was by far one of my favorite activities in Islamorada. Suzy was our tour guide - she is so enthusiastic about nature and extremely knowledgeable. We went through the beautiful mangroves. Though it is quite the upper body workout, it was so relaxing. I reccommend that if you aren't too strong with your arms, you go into a double kayak because the wind can really get ya. We even got to see some sharks right after we took off, though they were small. Suzy showed us some cool jelly fish, and was telling us all about it as well as the mangroves and how they grow. She will give you a tour for as long as you are willing to go, whereas at other places they will just call it "an hour tour." For $55 per person, the guided tour was well worth it but I am also excited to return next time for the all day or half (non-guided) tour for $25 - they give maps and show us where to go. read more
