The beach had a lovely atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and a relaxed family-friendly vibe. Another nice part of the area is that there are plenty of restaurants, ice cream shops, stores, and other places to explore nearby. It is easy to make a full day out of the visit without having to travel far for food or something else to do. I recommend arriving early because parking can fill up quickly. Otherwise, you may have to pay around $20 to park somewhere else or take your chances finding another spot. Overall, we had a great family visit and would gladly return.

The shop is not right on the launch but its walking distance and you do have to carry your board to the launch and back after so be prepared for that, once they seen me they did come to help me carry it the rest of the way, they also have dry bags to keep your stuff dry and I would definitely reccomend that as the water was choppy when we went so we got way more wet than when I go in the river back home. He even said had he known we were using them that day he would have met us at the beach! He had them rinsed when we got there and showed us how to inflate/deflate/and put everything on them and pack them up. They still have 9 months of a 1 year warranty left so he told us to let him know if there are any issues. He did not have to offer anything like he did. Most people would have just handed the boards over and took the money. I would 100% recommend Sam and his rentals to anyone!
