Extremely poor customer service from 2 young men sitting under the tent as they talked to us unprofessionally.

The shop is not right on the launch but its walking distance and you do have to carry your board to the launch and back after so be prepared for that, once they seen me they did come to help me carry it the rest of the way, they also have dry bags to keep your stuff dry and I would definitely reccomend that as the water was choppy when we went so we got way more wet than when I go in the river back home. We had a blast and pull reccomend supporting them for your day at Kings Beach!

The first 1/3 or so of the trail is actually on the streets/highway leading to the lake itself. It's pretty safe even with cars--just be mindful of traffic. Also be mindful of foot traffic on the trail, with kids, dogs, other bikes, etc. Bikes: Highly recommend the e-bikes. They're top notch, give a good workout, but also help immensely with the uphill climbs, which there are many of. Only drawback is that there aren't any bikes for shorter girlies like myself, or at least there weren't when we dropped by. Price: Great value for all bikes. There's also a group discount of like 10% if your group has 5 or more which was a nice touch. Overall very friendly for non-frequent bikers like myself and athletic folks alike! There's a lot of fun elements to the course, like the spider that lowers to try to block your shot. After the course we deposited our golf balls in the Last Hole slot machine (see picture) I thought that was a fun way to end the course (chance to win a free game). We then played some pinball and the kiddos enjoyed spending quarters in the toy capsule machines. They have an ATM and also a cash changer if you need quarters. If you're someone who reads reviews in order to determine your plan of attack, then this is the review for you. This trip was a 10/10 experience for us. We decided last minute to kayak at Lake Tahoe and Sam was amazing and accommodated us every step of the way. We underestimed how long it would take to get there, after booking our trip for 11am, and we called to let him know. He immediately switched our schedule and gave us step by step directions on how to get there. Once we arrived he met us and walked us down to the beach. He then gave us more detailed directions on the best places to visit while on the water. Once we got back, he gave us a solid recommendation for White Cap Pizza. Another 10/10 experience and top 5 best pizza places I have ever been to. All around, a wonderful day. We even got to get out and swim a bit since the water was so warm! I love getting out on Tahoe on a paddle board, but don't do it enough to justify buying one, so I've rented boards with friends a couple times now. SUP to You was the best experience for sure!!! Sam runs a small business, and it's not designed around churning through as many people as possible each day. We rented the boards for 24 hours. We set up a spot to meet Sam on the lake. He walked us through all the steps to inflating them (so easy) and then the boards were ours for a full day, and for only a little more than I've paid for a 2 hour rental! I love this concept!!! You could grab them in the morning and have all day, get them in the evening for sunset, we have been talking about renting them to hike in and camp somewhere as well. Overall it was great! Sam was super helpful and right on time with the drop off and pick up, and we got to explore the lake at our leisure. Definitely recommend! read more

This is a great business! He drops off and picks up your rentals so that you don't have to stress or worry about transporting giant stand up paddle boards. No more playing the "will they/won't they fit in my car" game. You can relax on the beach and he takes care of the rest. Then at the end of the day, when you're exhausted and ready to go home, you don't have to haul a bunch of sandy wet boards into town--he comes directly to you and loads them into his truck. It's fantastic. On top of the service, the boards themselves were everything we wanted them to be: in great shape, high quality, and super fun. We highly recommend this place. read more

Sam was so easy to work with. We were visiting the lake for a few days with my adult children. I saw Sam delivering paddle boards to other people at the beach and asked if he had 2 more for us. He got 2 great boards with lifejackets and paddles to us within an hour and explained how to use them. We had a great time paddling on beautiful Lake Tahoe, got some fun exercise, and made new great family memories. At the end of our day, we just phoned Sam, and he promptly came back to pick them up. Sam delivered an inflatable SUP to our condo and we used it for three days all around Tahoe, then he picked it up from us when we were done. The price was better than anywhere else and the rental was super convenient. The inflatable SUP transported easily in car and wasn't too hard to inflate. My kids, ages 3-12, all had a great time using it. It made the beach a lot more fun. Sam also gave us some good tips on where to go. read more

Sam is A+ with customer service. We called same day for paddle board rentals. He was available for DELIVERY within an hour of booking. He delivered and carried our SUPs down to the beach. Price was affordable. Rental items were well cared for and in great shape. Would HIGHLY recommend these services. He gave us tips on boarding and the nice spot to set up. Our initial plans were foiled (Sand Harbor of course) and so we went to another spot on Lake Tahoe. I called this company at 8:15am hoping to get a drop off of 2 paddle boards. I figured it would take a while since it was so last minute, BUT to our surprise he came to us in 30 minutes. It was amazing. He literally saved the day. But the delivery to and pick up from our vacation rental was the absolute best. It made the lake experience so much more enjoyable. He was incredibly responsive, answered all of our questions, coordinated everything flawlessly the day of our rental, and truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The customer service from the entire team was exceptional. Tori was so sweet and drove us back and forth in the golf cart, making everything easy and stress-free and even taking us back to our condo at the end of the day so we didn't have to make the walk. Luke was an awesome deckhand, and Sully, who happened to be the owner of the pontoon boat we rented, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell everyone genuinely enjoys what they do and wants their guests to have the best experience possible. The pontoon boat was beautiful, clean, and exactly what we were hoping for. We spent an unforgettable day on Lake Tahoe making memories with our family, and this company played a huge part in that. That said, I'd encourage anyone considering this charter to know that the price they quote you isn't the full price -- they also require a captain's fee of $60/hour. Unfortunately, the day before our charter (end of June), a cold front came through. They called to let us know they'd had to cancel charters the day before due to weather, but that ours would still go on, just later in the day. With temperatures in the low 50s and the water even colder, we made the difficult decision to cancel -- it just wasn't safe or comfortable for kids to be in the water. That's when we learned our $500 deposit was non-refundable, and we might even still owe the captain's fees. I could understand keeping the deposit if it meant they lost the chance to book another charter that day -- but that wasn't the case. No boats were out on the lake due to the cold; everyone on shore was bundled up in sweatshirts and jackets. Honestly this experience left us feeling scammed. I would think twice before booking this charter in advance.

Very cool of them to remember our day's plan and connect it to the health advisory they were dedicated enough to listen to. Our destination was not involved. THAT is great service! Business is easy to spot if you're coming south from Tahoe City

SCAM OPERATION!!! Received a cancellation of our rental at 5:30a the morning we were supposed to…read moreget on the water. Reasoning was due to the nearby landing not being available...which we witnessed later that morning in full use. We were staying right down the road so we stopped by the Wild Society storefront while they were supposed to be open to see about possibly getting a later rental and we found a completely empty location. No people, no equipment - just an empty barren room with not a single thing on the floor or on the walls (see picture), While a refund was promised via text, the charge was actually processed the following day. *****Unknown if this is related, but the credit card used was immediately charged for ten additional purchases from Amazon. We had to have all these fraudulent charges disputed and reversed. Not known if these events are related, but either way, the initial experience of dealing with Wild Society is frustrating and disappointing. There are many other legit businesses on the lake to support. We clearly picked the wrong one!

No one showed up to our booking time and we are still dealing with the refund process a month later. Whoever owns the business was completely unprofessional and left us in the dark. The phone number provided doesn't even work and there was no other point of contact. Later we were given some sad excuse about their employee not showing up. She then sent us a refund that still has not processed through. Whatever they are running here is completely a scam. Luckily we were able to rebook with another reputable company so last minute (Clearly Tahoe) that was completely worth our money.
