I celebrated NYE 2025 with a few friends here and it's a very lively bar. Live music, friendly and fast bartenders, cheap drinks (compared to SoCal), and fun patrons. There is plenty of parking and they even have a pool table and few dart boards. I highly recommend this bar if you visit Cocoa Beach. read more

Proper Irish Pub. This is not a tourist place. Loads of parking. Has an outdoor patio as well. Pool table and darts. Couple of tvs for sports. A nice bar and god selection of Irish drinks. Ray was a great barkeep. Definitely knows how to pour a proper pint of Guiness. Food is limited and mostly finger snacks. They have a stage for live performers but none where there when we visited. First impression is a rundown dive clique bar. Unwelcoming unless maybe you're a regular. No place for a tourist. Don't go expecting table service. It seems you have to be clairvoyant and know it's walk up only. Paddy Cassidy's has a soft spot in my heart.. This is where I met my husband Dave.. Shooting billiards and darts.. long story.. The pub was recently purchased and had a semi facelift.. The wall was removed to open up the rooms.. So love that.. So why not 5 stars? The floor was also redone, although it is beautiful, the boards are not tight which each board has a gap that my heels kept getting stuck in.. any lady wearing heels can appreciate this information... This pub has really good selections at the bar and Live music often.. The bartenders are very nice and appreciative of your patronage.. Smoking is permitted even cigars.. Which is a plus for my husband!! I highly recommend Paddy Cassidy's if you want to have drinks and a lot of fun!! read more

My boyfriend and I were in town for a cruise and decided to check out this bar for a couple of games of pool. (Came out from Las Vegas). Wow, I'm glad we got the chance to check it out! They had live music for cinco de mayo and ALL of the artists were amazing!!! We were totally blown away. We really enjoyed our time there. Oh man, this place is a little slice of Irish debauchery located in the South Publix shopping center in Cocoa Beach. You won't see Paddy Cassidy's on the overhang in front, just the words Irish Bar. And that says it all. I drink Guinness almost exclusively and I am smoker so this place is my mecca. It's one the only places you can smoke without being outside because they don't serve food (nuts on the bar though) (not those nuts, get your mind out of the gutter). Almost every weekend there is a new band or soloist there. My last trip I saw Mike Dunn, who was playing without his band King of New England, and he was incredible. We introduced ourselves during sets (it's that kind of place) and he joined us at our table for the evening and even gave us his album and invited us to the House of Blues a week later to see them open for Blues Traveler! This is Paddy Cassidy's. It's your favorite neighborhood irish bar with super friendly and quick bartenders, fun and interesting clientele and a party EVERY time we go. When there isn't live music there is a digital juke box but usually it's not necessary to pay for any music since the staff has great taste in tunes. There are 2 pool tables - usually one is open. There are 3 dart boards, usually one or two open. Plenty of seating in the main room and at the bar and even a few comfy lounge chairs in a few places. Once you stop in don't plan on going anywhere and don't worry about knowing the number to a cab if you're from out of town cause the bartender's got ya. If you aren't a traditionalist like me there are about 15 different beers on tap and more than 20 types of Irish whiskey. If you want a taste before you buy no problem, the bartender's got ya. If you want food while your there hit up Sonny's BBQ next door or have one of the waiters (they basically live there during shift breaks) to grab you some on the way back. read more

My friend and I are on vacation so we like to hit local places. I did a search and this place had good reviews on Yelp. We hopped in Uber and headed on down. Since it is in a strip mall we know it had to be a locals joint. We were the only customers in there (the rest were the owner, manager, musician and employees). The bartender told us it would pick up in an hour or so. We didn't care because we already loved the atmosphere. She was right! The service was outstanding. The music was phenomenal. Loud as hell and located in a nondescript strip mall with a Publix, Paddy Cassidy's a pretty fun pub with some great beer on tap. The main beef I had with it was the noise level, there was trivia going on and everybody was LOUD. We were here on a Tuesday night at 9 PM and I was surprised at the noise level and the amount of people patronizing this place. Also, in the bathroom, the mirrors were REALLY high up. I had an hour or so to kill so I stopped in on a Friday early afternoon for a beer. My two Guinness were perfectly poured with a shamrock in the foam to boot! Had fun light conversation with the bartender (a lovely lately) and an Irish gentleman patron. It was a great way to spend the afternoon relaxing. Cigar friendly but I didn't have one with me. This is a clean respectable and friendly pub. No food, but then who cares right? I'm going there on a Friday or Saturday night next, I like live bands, and nightlife. read more

Great place but i won't be back. i went to Paddy's almost every day for the last three years while I visit Cocoa Beach for the month of July to enjoy a whiskey and smoke a pipe. The new owners fixed up the inside alot and are very nice but the jukebox music is awful for an Irish Pub and way too loud. At night I might understand but during the early afternoon it is not appropriate for someone who wants to relax and have a drink. If it was called a Rock bar i would not complain. Without hesitation, I can say this is one of the best bars in the world (and I know, 'cause I travel it one tap at time). Many of the reasons have already been stated (e.g., chill atmosphere, friendly bartenders, cool locals, live music, you can smoke) but note a couple others. Anna makes the most refreshingly delicious Bloody Mary I've ever tasted. She uses a cucumber-infused vodka and who-knows-what-other secret ingredients, but I highly doubt you will ever enjoy another as tasty. Ryan (whom I swear to have met at a Dead show in another lifetime) encouraged me to try the Gulden Draak dark Belgian beer (very high in alcohol content - 10.5%) which was delicious but made even this Kegger Queen cross-eyed at 1/2 glass, and also the Left Hand Milk Stout which has become one of my new favorites. Although the plumbing in the bathroom was a bit shaky, it was clean and contained nice big pieces of white chalk with which to write messages of inspiration on the wall.
