Cheesesteak
Taryn C.

Great eats! I loved the food here. Stopped in for lunch while visiting the winery. Super cool that they have the same wines as they do at the winery along with some beers and other options. Servers were awesome and our food came out quick. Very traditional Irish pub, but super clean. I loved sitting here and grabbing a bite to eat. The potato soup stole the show and the cheesesteak was scrumptious. Great stop!

This place was nice bartender is fast very attentive. I needed a chair and she went and found me one. The crowd was great very friendly. People met some nice people outside. The food was delicious. The drinks were perfect. Now it's pricey, but it's worth the service.

The Cottage Pie

Jay was super nice and served us well. I had the cottage pie and it was very delicious. Highly recommend Paddy's!

My boyfriend and I decided to spend St. Patrick's evening at Paddy's Irish Pub at Chateau Elan in Braselton, GA, and it was the perfect choice! We didn't feel like trekking all the way to Buckhead or Atlanta just to drink and then deal with the hassle of getting home, so this spot was a fantastic local find. Before heading to the pub, we ate at Thrill, an all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ place, so we didn't try any of the food at Paddy's. That said, I'm already excited to come back and dig into their cottage pie or fish and chips. I saw them pass by while I was grabbing a drink at the bar, and they looked absolutely amazing! The crowd was lively but welcoming, and everyone we met had such a friendly vibe. It really made the night special. The drinks were generously poured, which we absolutely appreciated! Our bartender was a standout, a cute brunette with the most amazing, warm demeanor that just lit up the place. I didn't catch her name, but she made us feel right at home. If you're looking for a great time without the big-city chaos, Paddy's is a gem worth checking out!

The food was unseasoned for the price. You are better off ordering off the kids menu for the portions and pricing. We had two servers. One was rude, rushing and not really listening to a single thing we said. The other fail to refill our water three times, refusing to leave the pitcher for us because he "should be the one to do it". However, we had to ask for refills. It felt unorganized through the restaurant. However, they had great fries and pretzels. So, maybe go for a drink and one apps or sides ( but not for dinner).

When you walk it it's your typical pub place. This place is located on the winery property... so if you have too much to drink you come around to this pub def good to sober you up. I had the cheesesteak sandwich which was huge but needed more cheese. The fries are seasoned and goes well with the sandwich. My friend had the loaded potato soup and fries and loved them both! Our waiter was nice and the food came out fast!

Service was amazing! Eden was very friendly with great recommendations on the food! We led off with Guinness and the hot pretzels, definitely a lot of pretzel! Then we had the veggie burger and the shrimp and corn cakes. The presentation was great and the food was fabulous. Ended our meal nicely with warmed bread pudding and some homemade Irish Cream which will put Baileys in the shade. OMG it was good.

While visiting family in the area we explored Chateau Elon and stopped by the pub to eat. The menu is limited to several pub meals. My aunt enjoyed her chicken wings that were well sauced. My son has a limited palate so he chose the loaded fries. I ate the shrimp Poboy while my husband had the fish & chips. The service started well but once the pub got busy it took longer to see our waitress. The nonalcoholic drinks took a while to be served, literally after the meal was brought to the table. Otherwise the establishment is clean with plenty of seating & even had a tv to watch a game. Everything was adequate, nothing above what one could eat at a decent chain restaurant. I would not return to the pub and would try another restaurant on the property instead.

Our server? A gem. First visit, a "million questions", and he answered every single one like he was hosting a Food Network show just for us. Drinks: "Ah yes... civilization." My husband's term for "yes, they do have beer! ". I ordered the Espresso Martini. They ask: creamy or dark? I chose dark because I like my martinis the way I like my humor. It was flawless. We skipped appetizers because we like to live dangerously. Seafood Pasta: This dish came with so much seafood I started checking for a Coast Guard warning. Mussels, clams, shrimp, lobster, basically an entire cast of Finding Nemo. Flavor was incredible. I just needed a few more noodles to keep the peace between carbs and protein. 1855 Prime Filet & Brussels Sprouts: Let's talk onions. Some restaurants give you three sad little onion scraps like they're being rationed. Marc said, "No, no take ALL the onions." Do you see the picture of the Brussel sprouts? We'll look at the top of the photo.... Under that glorious pile was a perfectly cooked medium-rare steak. No photo because my husband attacked it like it was the last steak on Earth. Crème Brûlée: It was good. I'm not here to slander dessert. We respect crème brûlée in this household. Will we return? Absolutely. Just know this is a "go big or go home" date night. But trust me....it's worth going big.

That went very well so we wanted to check out the space and food at Versailles as a possible wedding venue. Walking through the hotel there were no greetings from concierge. With possible wedding guests staying on the grounds that was a red flag. The "restaurant" itself was giving food court. The host standing at a stand in the middle of the room was weird and probably uncomfortable for the actual host. She was also the only "professional" one there during our visit. Wait staff was not put together at all, as well as the possible person in charge. I'm talking sloppy, questionable hygiene, and under the influence of somethings. Food was cooked well for the most part. My risotto was definitely undercooked and when I notified the gentleman (manager?) he asked me if I wanted to keep the fish and just have the risotto redone. We tried to scoop the fish onto a plate at the table but he ended up just taking the whole plate. That whole thing was odd. New remade dish was the exact same. I honestly started questioning my palate. But no, it was undercooked. I love an al dente pasta but like that pasta was hard and sticking to my teeth type undercooked. Grateful for my sealants. LOL The rest of our food was cooked very well. We ordered a bottle of wine. Received a cheaper wine that server opened at the table. She changed it out. We paid, left, no farewells from any staff. The whole experience was an experience. We did not choose Chateau as the wedding venue.

Braselton has a free wifi and is power at the bar so I was able to set up with my laptop. My first beer was The Hefe, their hefeweizen and it was quite good. For number two, and a plate of fried cheese curds, I chose the Fast Flyer Cream Ale. Absolutely delicious. A clean and comfortable space with both inside and outside seating. A cool vibe that seems to make the beers disappear even faster. This was awesome and enjoyable. I look forward to returning. [Round number review 1100 of 2024 - 757 in Georgia - 22127 overall]

Ordered pretzel bites with beer cheese as an app. They were fine. "Tried" to order entrees, but they no longer serve black bean burgers, but it's still on the menu. I'm vegetarian and I didn't want a basic salad for a meal. We ordered an additional app instead. The fried pickles were really good and not greasy nor too dilly. We added hot sauce to the ranch- I recommend. There were a few that were under-fried (don't eat the orange ones). Our server was fantastic and really on the ball. The other staff we encountered were all very friendly. The owners really need to investigate and solve the fly problem. They were everywhere (and this is inside). It was a first for me to have fly fans included in my table setting. They did the trick, but not a good look. No We will definitely be back for the beer. I really hope they can work on improving the food and resolving the fly issue. This has the makings to be a great place!

Crossroads Bar & Grille in Flowery Branch just nailed two lunch classics better than most places…read moreI've tried--the Cuban and the Reuben are absolute winners. Stopped in at 5900 Spout Springs Rd for a casual lunch and left seriously impressed. These sandwiches aren't just thrown together; they're loaded and executed perfectly. The Cuban (marinated pork loin, smoked ham, Swiss cheese, spicy mustard, and pickles on a toasted hoagie roll) was a flavor bomb. Look at that cross-section--juicy, tender pork layered thick with ham, melty cheese, and that perfect pickle crunch cutting through the mustard kick. The bread toasted up golden and held everything together without getting soggy. Paired it with fries and a side of ketchup, and it felt like something straight out of a great Cuban spot. Huge portions that actually satisfy. The Classic Reuben on toasted marbled rye was equally stacked: thinly sliced corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss, and 1000 Island dressing. The bread had that ideal crisp exterior with a soft bite, and the fillings were generous and well-balanced--no dry bites here. Came with crispy fries and a side of creamy sauce that tied it all together beautifully. Service was friendly and quick, the atmosphere is that perfect relaxed neighborhood vibe (great for watching a game or just catching up), and the prices are fair for the quality and size you get. In a world full of average bar sandwiches, Crossroads delivers the real deal with fresh ingredients and obvious care. Whether you're craving the tangy, savory Reuben or the bright, porky Cuban, both hit the spot hard. I'll definitely be back. If you're in Flowery Branch, do not sleep on these sandwiches. Highly recommend--5 stars.
