Paddywack was the name of ny first dog! It was my roommate's poodle's birthday today and I was calling around to find a doggy cake and birthday treats. Someone at PetSmart recommended Paddywack in Mill Creek. I am disabled so can't get around. But I called and spoke to Katelyn (sorry if I butchered the sp!) who was super friendly, helpful and patient She described the products available, prices, etc and put together a selection for my roomie's bf to pick up, including a Barkery cake. Paddywack is A-OK. I expect a lot out of pet stores, especially ones that charge more. My boyfriend and I had just finished at the vet and decided our four legged child needed a new collar and some toys for being so good. So being the pet store junkies we've become, we stopped at Paddywack. First thing we noticed was they had plenty of water out for the four legged vistors. Nice touch! Looking for dog toys, you've come to the right place. They are loaded with lots of options. I didn't see our dogs favorite Wubba toy but we ended up finding her rope for tug a war. Looking for a collar or leash- eh. They didn't have a very big selection, disappointing to be honest. Almost no options as far as harnesses. Harlow being an English Bulldog she can be difficult to find something cute but sturdy (strong like bull........dog!) Looking for dog food or treats, they have lots to choose from. We don't get our dog food here but Harlow had fun sniffing all the treat bags and their awesome dog bone bins. Cats: Seems to take up 1/3 of the store with cat stuff, pretty large section compared to other pet stores. If I was a cat lover, I would come here. We will be back, especially during summer. They have an excellant location for walking your dog around the town center and ending here for some treats! read more

Paddywack offers an eclectic variety of everything dog and lotsa stuff for the kitty cats too. This shop was made for silly people like me who blow ridiculous amounts of money on their pets. (It's FUN, ok?) Both Origen and Wellness brands are there (hooray) so we can pick up the staples, as well as, a fun new - before unseen - toy for the pooch. One of the smiley staff spent a good long time trying to fit my English Bulldog with a winter jacket (not an easy task when your dog is shaped like a wine barrel) and it's THAT level of service and variety of product that I find so appealing. They've got stuff for the bipeds too: I picked up the funniest t-shirt ever and my dog-loving friends will be green with envy when they see me in it! Another bonus: this store supports Purrfect Pals; a no-kill cat rescue that I'm very familiar with - even having a little "cattery" right there in the store. Give the dog a bone - and stop by Paddywack to get it. A really fun shopping experience. read more

I like that this place is boutiquey and i'm the first to jump up and support my local community businesses. I love their little cat toy bins (inexpensive and mostly locally made); my kitties faves are the catnip "candy" and crinkle balls. But I'm not in 100% agreement with some other reviewers when it comes to customer service. The last time I was there, a customer came in with two dogs and one of them promptly urinated on one of the display legs INSIDE the store and the employees at the time seemed to be in no hurry whatsoever to clean it up. The customer was thoroughly embarrassed and apologetic and asked for some cleaning supplies and the gal behind the counter made her feel worse by becoming exasperated and appearing inconvenienced. Really? All the big pet stores have clean-up stations posted throughout, what do you expect when you allow the animals inside? I felt so bad for that customer. read more

This is such a cute store! The only dog in my life lives with my parents - not with me - so I don't have a ton of reasons to come here, but I was running errands with my mom and we stopped in. My mom had to pick something up for the dog, and I figured that since her birthday is coming up (the dog's, not my mother's), I'd get her a little something. They have the most adorable toys here, but they're a little pricey. I love my dog and all, but she will tear things up in a day, so spending $15 on a toy - however cute it may be - is a little much. I fell in love with their collars, too. They have some really, really cute ones. I ended up just getting my dog a "Pupcake" and a little bone cookie that said "happy birthday" - I love baked goods for dogs. This place obviously has the more utilitarian things, too - leashes and harnesses and of course food, plus tons of stuff for cats. I didn't spend much time with that stuff but it seemed like a good selection. I also appreciated that they try and get donations for various animal-related charities. If you're in Mill Creek Town Center & have a furry friend in your life, I recommend checking this place out! It's a little pricey overall, but worth it now and then. read more

great small business with quality food, toys and accessories. i usually go here for specific food that my dogs like that Petco/PetSmart don't offer and its close to the house. they are very similar to a mudbay and the prices are similar to mb as well (higher than the main pet stores). they offer bulk treats, special cookies and some seahawks gear. once in a while they will have some great offers and discounts (holiday or when they are bringing in new products). helpful staff, clean store and they will say hi to your furry child(ren) and give them a treat. read more

Paddywack is owned by a nice lady named Janet, and the staff is wonderful, very knowledgeable and friendly. These folks will make special orders for you and remember the names of your cats and dogs, even give them treats when you bring them in! They have cats there from the Humane Society, where we got all three of ours, so be careful, you may fall in love and grow your cat family! (Adoptions may take a day or two as you need to fill out an application and have your landlord approve if you rent!) They are major supporters of the community as far as pets and people and businesses are concerned. They have pet photographers they can refer you too, artists that paint your pet, and artisans they support who make unique products, some just for Paddywack! Come in, say "hi" to the cats and staff, get cat litter, dog and cat food that nourishes your animal (no Friskies crap here!), yummy unique treats and doggie bakery items, as well as toys, collars, leashes, sweaters, beds, and much more. read more

First off: if you feed your pet grocery store pet food, this is not the place to find it. What you will find here is the good stuff: brands like Innova and Nutro and others on the cutting edge of pet nutrition. Got questions? The friendly staff have answers. Want a discount? Sign up to be on their list and they'll keep track of how much you've spent and send you a coupon for 10% off when you've spent $100. Unlike some stores where Dog is King, Cat gets half of the store, Dog gets the other half. The selection is good -- our cats love the Northwest-grown catnip that's sold here, and I buy all our cat food here. I've never had a problem with anything I've bought here, and the staff even helped solve a problem we had with a bad automatic watering machine. They host pet adoptions every Friday night as well as host cat adoptions for a local shelter on a regular basis. Since Paddywack's opened, I haven't had a reason to go to a big-box pet store -- and unlike in Mud Bay, I don't feel like I have to be a rich person to spend money in Paddywack. read more

Paddywack is my favorite pet store in the area. The employees are super helpful and they have a really nice variety of grain free foods for pets that have allergy issues. Also, tons of toys, treats, leashes, and clothing (if you like to dress your pets up). It is a little spendy but you are getting quality products. And happy animals. read more

One of the best local pet stores! I used to frequent Petsmart until I started feeding higher quality food. I now frequent Mudbay and Paddywack, but have noticed that Paddywack prices tend to be lower than Mudbay. Customer service is amazing. They are so friendly to me and my GSD. I take him in to train all the time and they don't mind. If anything, they help! The owners are awesome. They know customer service and will do anything to satisfy you and your pup's needs. Above and beyond experiences for me, constantly. If they don't have your brand in store, ask them. Chances are they can have it specially ordered just for you. No extra charge. Paddywack is AWESOME! The employees are friendly and knowledgeable - there is an amazing variety of items, from wholesome organic food to even organic toys! Nicely laid out with room to wander around with your dog (who are given treats by the staff if its okay with you). I think Christina S. was having a bad day - I have never heard/seen any of the staff at Paddywack be judgemental - far from it. They truely enjoy seeing all dogs, all shapes, all sizes - purebred or not. It is beyond my comprehension that anyone would give Paddywack a single star for trying to protect the community by enforcing their mask rules. Since children under 12 cannot be vaccinated, requiring them to wear masks is to protect them too. I absolutely love this shop. I used to go to petco for everything and then I found this place. They are actually LESS expensive compared to the other major pet stores, and yes, you'd think a little pup boutique would be spendy but, no. They also have a rewards program; spend $200 get $10 off. (Which is easy for me since I'm there all the time.) Customer service is excellent. They greet you as soon as you walk in and always thank you for stopping by. They can answer any questions and order products they've sold out of. They are pretty good at keeping customers happy. I would definitely suggest checking this place out before you go back to petsmart or petco. And of course they are dog friendly. read more

The last few times I went in Paddywack I took my pooch. I've noticed that when I come in with him, I do get better service. I mean how could you not get attention when you have a pet with you right?! Especially an attention seeking doggy like mine! He makes his rounds and gains about 5 pounds from all the staff members fawning over him and feeding him treats! He loves coming here, and so do I. I'm glad I've gotten better service as of late! I'm also thrilled I finally found an X-large harness for my manatee! My boy is a 120# American bulldog and I've had a hell of a time finding a harness to fit him! It was reasonably priced (under $30... Can't remember the exact price since it was months ago!) I was pleasantly surprised bc you usually expect to spend more in a boutique type pet store. When i was on my hunt for harnesses I even went to the "Big Box" pet stores to find one, and they were around $40 for the large sizes... But none big enough for my pup! read more

I have been coming here for the last 3 years. The folks here are very friendly to me and my little puppy. He loves coming here as the staff always give him a treat. The staff are quite knowledgeable whenever I have questions about food for my dog as he seems to get tired of his food after a year. I love the samples for my dog as he is such a picky eater. The store is very clean and organize with dog stuff on one side and cat stuff on the other side. Certain things they tend to be more pricier than others. This store is a monthly routine for us! I love taking my dog for a walk through the town center and then getting our dog food and supplies here. I believe all the food they carry is grain free and healthy options. They have a great rewards program and they accept donations of old supplies and provide it to the homeless with pets. If you treat your animals like children, then this is the place for you! We've been patrons of this shop for almost four years. It's refreshing to see the same friendly faces from the first time I went still smiling when I come to get my pet food for the month. The staff have been amazing. My cat has a poultry allergy (I kid not) and we've been through almost 10 food brands before we've (hopefully) found one he'll eat. They happily send me home with sample after sample and have even offered to take disliked bags back. If they don't have what you're looking for, they'll order it. And most orders come within a few days. The only reason for four stars is because the hours aren't always convenient for a working family. I'm often flying in the door as they're closing their doors, although they've never kicked me out. The service is always excellent and the owner is approachable and friendly. The staff is always helpful and they do not pressure you into purchasing things that you may not need. It was a great experience and the owners support several no-kill shelters in the area. Have been going here since it opened. I have three dogs and four cats. I can find everything I need in one place while snagging some ice cream next door! I love the trendy vibe that reminds me of the Seattle art scene which I wish would spread throughout Washington more. This is the place for dog owners that's for sure. It's a cute boutique right in the middle of the Mill Creek town center. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about their stuff. The dogs love walking in the store too because they always get treats. Although the stuff in here is pricey, it carries more and better stuff for pets than the traditional pet stores.
