Store designs and displays are attractive and uniquely Mud Bay, product offerings are vast and updated, and there's a premium vibe to the experience without a premium price. For those unaware, Mud Bay price matches, and for those on a budget (and who's not in 2026), know that MB carries foods that are extremely affordable in addition to hyper-premium foods. Rest assured, regardless of the price of the food, if MB carries it, it's vetted and high quality. My personal favorite thing about Mud Bay, and why I'm leaving this review, is the people. This was my first visit to this Mill Creek store. I'm dog sitting and needed some treats, so of course I pulled up 5 mins before they closed. That wasn't a problem. The two gals working, Amalia and Laura, were beyond incredible. Both women knew a ton about the products I asked about and got me taken care of at my speed. More importantly, they both seemed to truly love their jobs, pets, and people. If I lived in Mill Creek, this would be the only pet store I'd shop. Once again, well done Mud Bay!

Our only issue with this location is that the tubs feel low and there are no community tools so we have to bring our own. Our backs are always aching after bath time, and I know that the tubs down in Seattle are higher and we don't have that issue. The fact that they have zero time limit for self wash is a big pull for us - Golden Retrievers take more than an hour.

(THIS REVIEW IS FOR SELF SERVICE WASH ONLY)…read more Very nice and easy experience here. One of the pricier self wash spots I've been too but it has everything I care about, want and NEED from a operational self wash: - good water pressure - high quality blow dryers - water temperature control - no time limit AND I appreciate how many tubs they had available to the public so I didn't feel rushed. I have a golden retriever that needs very thorough baths with his medicated shampoo and MUST be completely dry when we are done. So it takes a WHILE. Because of all those things and the fact that I can't find anywhere else that checks off all the boxes, I'm happy to pay for it. And they have memberships that I plan on getting next time. Russell gives it a 10/10 Only reason it's not 5 stars is because of the price. And I didn't love the super slippery floors after all the water getting everywhere. Made me nervous to let my dog get out of the tub without my help... he's 85 pounds

Bottom line, they're super nice, the products are good, and they're actually competitive on price too. In long Across a couple locations, they've been one of the main places I've shopped for pet stuff the last 20 years. There was a time when I'd get food at other places when I saw a lower price, but the dry stuff I get my cats now is actually cheaper here than most places. This week I came in for a bag of kibble that I paid for online. Their website occasionally has a bug that triggers your purchase at a different store, even if you re-save your local branch as "your" store. They were super cheerful about fixing it and squared it away in under 5 minutes. Another guy had a big friendly mutt in with him while I was waiting, and here's where you see MB doing its thing--they offer treats, gush over your fur baby, and make a point of remember your dog's name next time you come in. They want you to know they work there because they love animals, too. Nice touch. The way they merchandise everything is really nice for some reason--bit sturdy free-standing tables and shelves, usually you can see under around just about everything. Polished concrete floors. All easy to clean, very pet-friendly. They have every little thing you can imagine--beds, collars, food and water dishes, not just food. They have every kind of wet and dry food, too, and probably some natural stuff (I didn't look). Pets go through enough food that I am a pretty price-driven shopper, and these guys have come back into the rotation for me thanks to their pricing. But they really care, too--our little dog is a picky eater, and they have kept track of everything she has tried, and finally found stuff she'll eat enough of that she actually got half a pound *over* her goal weight. They're really great here.

They also have most of our other outdoor "pets" covered, too - from rabbits to squirrels. They have also got supplies for dogs, cats, "indoor" pet birds, and other domesticated animals. In my experience, service is ALWAYS quick, helpful, and friendly. I've never had to return anything, but I would expect good service. The big box shops have the mass produced feed at, I think, sometimes lower prices, but it's worth it to us and our outdoor family to get the good stuff (and it's not always more money). The back wall at the register is also always a fun read -- they have a regularly changing wall with tons of humorous wood signs/plaques and they carry some other fun giftable items. I have done some present shopping here from time to time. (And, no - I did not give my wife a bag of bird seed for Christmas! That would have been more of a birthday thing...)

Well, then the wait, wait wait wait and now it's 25 minutes and still no one coming to the car. I called and then let them know and I waited another 5-7 minutes and someone brought out my order. 2/5. It was hot and my dog was not happy. I recommend the concept and next time I will call to let them know I'm here instead of relying on the app to tell them. (Avoid frustration and wasted time) I gave them 4 stars . Next time I would like to give 5/5. Let's see how it all goes. With everything going on I forgot to take pictures ahhhh ‍. All of a sudden they don't think he's a good fit for them, maybe he should go to a private groomer. It's really unfortunate. We have the premier membership or whatever they offer. He was seen at petcos in CA before moving here. He is such a loving (though big) golden retriever. We will try another location to see if there are actual groomers who are wanting to do their job. Seems clear from our most recent experiences (and reading some of the other reviews) this location can't handle any dog. I should mention his ears and paws were soaked when picked up. He is prone to ear infections, which they know about. When we had taken him in with other groomers there he was there 3+ hours. Now, barely 2 hours. He seems really depressed now too. Poor buddy traumatized by the lack of care there
