TL;DR get the dang mussels!! I was in Barcelona for a weekend. I came here twice. Came back the second time to get the mussels again. Please come here and get the mussels.

My group came across this place and were intrigued by watching the chefs cook the paella through the entry way. We weren't disappointed! We ordered various tapas, however some of them were sold out (turned out to be ok, we didn't need them) but the tapas are a generous serving and great for sharing. The paella comes out on a large pan that it's cooked on, so it's hot! It looks like a lot, but it's actually pretty easy to eat the whole pan if you're hungry. We cleared out 3 paella pans within a group of 4. The nice thing about the restaurant is that they had vegetarian tapas and paella for our vegetarian friend in the group. Our waiter was also very friendly and helpful! It's helpful to know Spanish to order easily, but the picture menu makes it really easy to order if you don't speak Spanish.

If you are in the area, not a bad spot for a drink and a tapa. They have a nice outdoor seating area and the AC indoor area is roomy. Service was great and very quick. If you are looking for ambience and a great pic, look no further. If you are looking for a culinary experience, I'd keep looking. We had the paella and it wasn't at all what we expected. The rice wasn't as cooked (no "socarrat" on the bottom) and the seafood was way over cooked (everything was shriveled, to include the lobster, crab, mussels etc). The tapas we had were good and price was reasonable.

Awesome team, very friendly! The tapas tasted good. The place was pretty crowded, still the kitchen was fast. I come again and can recommend the place!

Sometimes when you are walking between meetings in Barcelona you happen upon a place that serves the best of whatever. Ok so the challenge is thrown down and I am usually up for a challenge. So my colleagues and I took this challenge on their paella being art. Challenge accepted and I can safely say they had some of the best paella. The only unfortunate part was eventually I got full ;-). It was that good. It pays to take a challenge sometimes.

Wow this paella was amazing. We had the seafood and meat one and it was so tasty we slurped it up quick. The tapas were good as well. We had the Aceitunas, Pan con Tomate, Patatas con alioli and Ensalada con jamon and manchego. Wiped plates clean of each. The sangria was good as well and complemented the meal nicely.

Food was okay but service was awful! The waiter took our drink order then left to serve the other tables when we were ready to order the food. When we walked to him to place the order, he told us to sit back and said he would come. So we waited there for 10 minutes, seeing him taking orders for ppl who came after us. When we told him it's inappropriate to do this, he said we JUST waited less than 10 mins, implying why were we so impatient. For food, we tried Fideua Negra(black paella, switch rice for noodle), which was good but we both prefered traditional paella/fideua. I suggest two ppl share one appetizer and one paella. Reasonable price.

Affordable and accessible! I tried the chicken skewers (had a curry/Asian-like seasoning), breakfast skillet with potatoes and eggs, churros with chocolate dipping sauce (really great price!) and a salad with Manchego cheese (the sheep cheese of Espana!). The food was a 3 stars but I enjoyed the cheap prices, variety of food items, and menu with pictures and outdoor dining space under the large umbrellas (with lighting at night). This place is very close to Casa Mila. For three people, we still had leftover food despite the portions being fair. The salad was the biggest item of the 3 savory dishes we tried. The churros came with three pieces (more dipping sauce than churro).

Bumping what would be a 3 star experience to 4 stars because they have vegetarian paella and actually call out that it is made with veggie stock! I was pretty surprised to see a Spanish restaurant so informed on the vegetarian experience. While the paella wasn't the best I had, it held its own. The vegetables were fresh and the flavor good. A crispier, more caramelized bottom would have made it a home run. Half was plenty for me, but my big boo ate all his seafood paella, which had plenty of large seafood pieces. Service was friendly and attentive, but the atmosphere lacking. It's next to the Casa Pedrera, so expect a low-key touristy joint (complete with picture menus, which I won't penalize them for because I can see them as helpful to someone new to tapas). At first we were the only table, and by the time we left there were one or two more so it was pretty quiet... at least once the tourist bus idling outside left.

We got here for the paella, which was not fantastic but ok. When it comes to the tapas, it's really so so. I guess everything is industrial. But the decor is ok.

This is very important message, please share to others will go to Barcelona!!! This is a very cheater restaurant!!! The waiter force us to order the most expensive paella, and the bill price is 41€ but waiter again force us to pay 45€, It's not about money, it's all about the thing you should not to do, do bad thing to tourists

First paella in Barcelona. Not the best, but still enjoyable. While this spot comes off a little touristy, it should be praised for its excellent service and affordable quality food (13 € for the seafood paella). It wouldn't have hurt to have more than one shrimp in there. But the amount of rice was almost enough to feed two people. The seating area out on the street is the best thing about this place, right next to Casa Mila. They also have many tapas worth trying.

Very flavorful and fast experience. Oxtail and mashed potatoes 10/10: the oxtail meet is so tender and flavorful. The mashed potatoes pair so well with the oxtail. Mushroom, steak, and egg yolk 9/10: soo flavorful and balance of veggies and protein. Amazing textures and flavors. Sparkling sangria: 8/10 I don't normally live the taste of alcohol but this was great. Not tooooo strong and if tastes pretty good if you mix it with the orange juice. Fresh orange juice: 10/10 so tangy and delicious. I can't recommend it enough. Patatas bravas: 9/10 solid no complaints! Dessert Tapas: - bread dessert (Tarija): 11/10 amazing dessert that is creamy, cameralized, and has a mochi like texture. This fried chewy dessert is not too sweet and such an affordable price. - coconut pudding 9/10 solid and refreshing if you like flan - bread, chocolate oil, salt 7/10: I live the complex flavors. The chocolate mousse was light and the bread to mousse ratio was perfect. It's a smaller dessert tho I wouldn't recommend it if ur sharing. Service: amazing! Staff I'm everywhere so it was very easy to order more food. Also we were sitting buy the area where they made dessert and they allowed me to record them making it!! Comfortable ambiance great for date night or casual meals!!!

Not only was his service incredible, but he also gave us amazing recommendations for our upcoming trip to Buenos Aires in two weeks. The food was hands-down our best meal in Barcelona. Every dish felt authentic and full of flavor. To top it all off, the meal ended with a shot of local acorn liquor as we toasted Jordi, our other server, which also made the whole experience feel so special.
