And AC is wonderful (sometimes I just want to hangout there when it's hot outside). Interestingly enough, we cut 2 inches off my hair with long layers and my hair looks longer than before. Oanh is the best colorist out here. Not only is she sweet and funny, she's also professional, talented, and personable!!! I always leave her salon so happy with my hair. She offers the best hair advice and listens to what you want. I was referred to Oanh by a family friend and I feel so fortunate. I had a haircut appointment with Mindy on 5/27/23 and I am beyond pleased with the results. I've always had really long hair and is always nervous w/ people cutting my hair too short but Mindy reassured me that it'll still be long and beautiful. As a busy mom, it's always hard to make time for yourself, but I'm glad that I did. They should allow zero stars, because that would be most appropriate grade for the so called make up work that Monique did today on my gf's daughter. I drove my gf's 17yr old daughter to her (Monique) from Pico Rivera today and 80 min and $130 later my gf's daughter comes out holding back tears from how bad she looked. She asked for a natural, light-make up look and instead received a face caked with unflattering tones, just bad work honestly. She couldnt get home fast enough to take it all off and cry her eyes out and almost canceled going to her homecoming dance. My gf text Monique to let her know how displeased she was and Monique simply dismissed her complaint saying that her daughter told her she loved how she did her make-up. Monique obviously didnt get that my gf's daughter was only being polite when she told her that, why would a mother take the time to text you with a complaint? I have been going to Mindy for about two years now. She was at a different salons then I followed her to painted strands. Her customer service is always ver welcoming and always nails the hair style I'm going for. She is also very honest so if something won't look good she will let me know. She assisted me a bit late once BUT she did make it up by giving me a free deep conditioning which I appreciated. There isn't a lot of Avila le parking since the shopping center is always full so I suggest arriving earlier. Definitely recommend going to Mindy for all your hair needs! read more
