Peace and love, everyone!! It's been a long minute since I left a review, so I'm happy to talk about a new food place! My wife and I finally ordered from Paisans Pizza in Oak Lawn, something we've been wanting to do for a long minute. As I have been working out and watching how much I eat since December, I very much look forward to having a 'big back day', as my daughter says! So the online ordering process was very easy. I ordered a medium cheese pizza, a medium sausage pizza, the Southwestern egg rolls, and finally some garlic parmesan wings. When I went to pick up the food, it took a few minutes to find a parking space as there are no spaces for pick-up orders. But when I went in there, nice ambiance with the planes, the cars, and the camper, which is where I had to pick up my order from. The place was jumping (I was there about 6pm on Saturday), and it seemed like a nice overall vibe. Ok so I pick up my order and get back to the crib! First, the pizza: both pizzas were really good. Nice amount of cheese, nice amount of sausage, for both, nice amount of sauce. Now the pizza was good,let me be clear, but on the box it says the 'best pizza in the world'. So my honest opinion is that is it better than all the other pizza places in the area (Domino's, Nonna's, etc)? YES...easily! Is Paisans better than Beggars Pizza? I say yes, my wife says no. Either way, we both agree that they have some good pizza! The garlic parmesan wings lived up to the hype. Crispy wings, nice amount of seasoning, not overpowering. As for the Southwestern egg rolls, this was the only thing I ordered where I was like 'meh'. The shell wasn't really crispy, I think it was a bit bland, and the sauce cup had opened up and spilled in its takeout box. Put it this way...Chili's Southwestern egg rolls are much better, by comparison, in terms of flavor. All in all, this was not a bad eating experience. The food was good all around, and for me, only the egg rolls could have been better. Also, the food was a little on the expensive side....so that is something to keep in mind also. So, does this mean we'll be back? Absolutely! The atmosphere is unlike any other food establishment. Such a fun space to enjoy a meal or cocktail. Friendly service from the moment you walk in. I would like to see an improved children's menu. The quality and amount of food(pasta) is very pricey. The weekly specials are a real deal. Also great pizza! read more

The food was incredible, tasted great. The cheese bread was delicious and the soup cup of sauce was even better. The atmosphere is amazing, this place is huge with full size cars, bikes, airplanes inside. The server took our order and was funny and really good. But our meal had a bar pie not deep dish. It is a fun place for gathering and very family friendly, too. We love the interior decors... hanging biplane, bikes and oh cars! That is cool! We had the tavern style chicago pizza. Supreme Pizza is delicious, the sausage giardiniera is spicy but also good. Wings are awesome! They have good selection of beer on draft and cocktails. Our server is awesome and very friendly. Walking in right away you see it's very unique in style not something you see in the area between the Airplane and classic old car to the old motorcycles hanging on the wall even the old Winnebago serviing has the take out window The service from start to finish with Destiny was top notch a 5 star right there . I stopped in to treat myself to a little pizza. I wanted to have a slice or two of veggie pizza and add chicken. For whatever reason that wasn't allowed but you could do it on a whole pizza. Idk i just think the waiter didn't want to put the extra work in to find out. The cost is a little pricey compared to other pizza parlors. I spent $50 for a medium 12 in pizza and a side salad. Now to the pizza. It was pretty good and very cheesy, straight out the oven. I didn't like how thick the cheese was once it began to get cold. Salad was good and fresh. The atmosphere was upbeat with a retro style decor. They have a show room of cars with a super nice old school impala. I would totally eat here again. I only wish they had options for smaller portions like a small pizza. read more

Stopped here last night. Was phenomenal! Had the new butter crust deep dish style with pepperoni and sausage along with an order of parm wings! They knocked it out the park on dinner. The new pizza was so filling I couldn't do more than 2 slices so it made a great midnight snack and leftovers for today. read more

Paisans has a great menu with something for everyone. I've had their wings, pizza, rice bowl, cheese bread, nachos and burgers. Here's the thing, the food isn't fabulous but it's good and consistent. The chocolate lava cake is fabulous though! This a great place to take a large group because there is plenty of space, friendly staff and the large menu. There are TV's everywhere so I like to go when a game I want to watch is on. Orders usually take over 25 minutes to get to your table so grab a drink while you wait. read more

We ordered the Tavern style pizza with sausage and green peppers; it was pretty good. A little more seasoning on the pizza would have been great. The pizza was cooked well. We also ordered the wings with buffalo sauce; very good. The location has plenty of parking and the restaurant was nice and spacious. The atmosphere was family friendly. Now the service from my waitress wasn't so great. We had to request the peppers and parmesan cheese from the owner/manager. We had requested some additional sauce for our wings it took her about 10 minutes to bring it. We requested a lemonade drink for the 2 little girls at our table she brought one. When I requested it again, she still forgot. After the 3rd request we received it. She wasn't rude but she wasn't very friendly. She barely had a conversation with us. A friend recommended this spot, raving about their wide variety of food, so I was excited to try it. However, as a pescatarian, I was disappointed to find there weren't many options for me. I'm always open to trying new things, so I ordered the dragon fries, which our waiter assured me weren't spicy--but they were terribly spicy. My father ordered the baby back ribs, and while he enjoyed the flavor, the portion size was underwhelming. On a positive note, the decor was very unique and impressive, especially with the vehicles displayed inside the building--it definitely added to the atmosphere. It would be great if they expanded their menu to include options like an Impossible burger or vegan cheese to accommodate more dietary preferences. While our waiter was nice, he seemed a bit nervous throughout the experience. Unfortunately, due to the limited options for me, I don't think I'll be returning. read more

This piece of restaurant is overrated. There's a huge parking lot so plenty of parking. They do have a reservation option or a cute. You can walk up depending on availability and be seated. There are plenty of high bar tables, low bar tables and a huge bar with lots of televisions for sports feeling. The pizza and the sides were am my opinion just OK and comparison to most famous Chicago pizza restaurants. If you've never tried it, try it. I have a huge list of appetizers for you to select Ron. The chicken wings were good and they offer you many options for sauce on the wings. read more

Dear Paisans, I really wanted to like you! Had such high hopes... sadly we were all very disappointed. First, where do you get off with these prices? Who do you think you are, Disney??? $18 for an appetizer of a handful of buffalo shrimp? And maybe when asking for a side of Ranch, your staff could mention that you charge $1.20 for a small cup of ranch!! WOW! Welcome to 2025 where Paisans price gauge the customers they DO get. The 'better' things were the $25 pizza and the $16 breadsticks with cheese appetizer. That was it as far as flavor. The wings were the saddest dried, fried, oil taste. Fried pickles, meh. 1/2 bbq ranch salad, decent. 1/2 slab ribs, meh. Kids corn dog, unedible. My son wouldn't go near it. Chicken parm sandwich, meh. The restaurant looks great! Great decor. If you like thin crust ask for it extra thin and crispy. They were both good pizzas but the thin was a lot better. The sauce was sooooo good, I wanted to just dip garlic bread into the sauce! My daughter got the penny pasta vodka, and that was very good, and the minestrone soup was really really good. I also like that they're open until 10 PM during the week and midnight on Fridays and Saturdays even Sundays at 10 PM. Was it the best crust pizza I've ever had? Loud, full of tv's tuned to the Super Bowl. Interesting decor, there is a small airplane hanging over the bar. I did not get the pizza, but the chicken parm was great, comes lovingly encased in a beautiful focaccia bread. Salad was very fresh and good dressing. Service was friendly and attentive. First time to a Paisans Pizza for me. Saturday night, it was packed! We were a group of six. We put in an order for a thin crust, and then added a supercharged. The menu and server told us that the supercharged takes some time to cook. We slammed the thin crust and then the supercharged arrived. Supercharged pizza was delicious!! Be patient for your order. I also has a strawberry margarita that was tasty. It had pieces of strawberries in it. Pizza prices are reasonable. Drink prices are a little high. read more

It's always a treat to experience Chicago-style pizza. My wife and I came here with several friends. The restaurant is actually large. There's definitely plenty of seating. They do pack a lot of seating so be warned you may be back to back (literally) with the table behind you. We ordered 2 14-inch pizzas. One was a thin crust, and the other was deep dish style. There was 6 of us, so there's 2 pizzas gave each person 3-4 slices. I recommend a larger pizza if you're super hungry. Without drinks, the pizzas were ~$50. The pizzas do take 40-45 minutes to cook, so be prepared to wait. Maybe a grab a drink? read more

We'd been going to Paisons since December. We ate in as well as ordered pizza for pick up. Overall, we were happy & were going often. Yesterday, we ordered an XL cheese pizza to take home. It was awful. It was done & already sitting in a warmer 20 minutes later. It was dried out and appeared have been in a warmer too long. The cheese was dark-dried out. Definitely not fresh & pull apart stringy. I called & spoke to the manager to express my frustration & dissapointment. I asked him to make another one. He said he'd give me a credit, but didn't say how much. We picked up the fresh pizza. I didn't expect it to be free, but only offered $5 credit for my hassle. Really?! This dilemma made me run behind as I needed to get ready for work. Poor customer service and quality product. read more

Visited today for 1st time for drinks and appetizers. it was packed in there but we were seated immediately. We decided on the peach weed jar drink, it arrived in a mason jar and was delish. Julius was amazing! Best waiter I've ever had. Cool to get some restaurant history as well as food suggestions. Super attentive & friendly. Took time to take photos for us! I will definitely be back & we will certainly request him as a waiter! Loaded fries were spectacular, dragon wings were sweet & spicy. The sweet sauce on the pizza made it perfect. Our server seemed rushed, but the hostess was nice enough to change our table. The spicy garlic Parmesan wings were really good. There was nothing southwest about the southwest eggrolls, there was a lot of celery, maybe it was just the batch we had. The veggie pizza was mid. Cool atmosphere overall. I like the layout of the place. There's enough tvs around the bar area to watch. My waiter was nice, no complaints about service at all. I do recommend the spicy garlic wings. I had ground beef on half my pizza and I was disappointmented in the flavor because the beef had no salt or pepper on it. The cook literally just put ground beef on the pizza with no seasoning. Also, there was just 1 "meatball" on each slice. I lifted the cheese on the side with the beef and there was just a small piece of meat on each slice. Definitely not enough meat on the pizza. My daughter has the blackened salmon. She didn't like it but I don't know who orders salmon from a pizza restaurant. read more

The space is huge wide open and loud. A giant airplane suspended from the ceiling and classic cars inside, very nice. Our started off on the wrong foot. I ordered iced tea, but they said they only have sweet tea. I settled for water . My wife wanted hot tea, but they told her they don't sell any hot beverages. She settled for water. The service is awesome. They have a lot of employees and they were spot on for our entire meal. My wife ordered a Chicken Parm sandwich. It was very tasty. A thick chicken breast served with melted cheese on a focaccia bun. It was dry, however. I was going to ask for a side of marinara, that would've made it perfect. I ordered the Cobb Wrap. It's big and it was pretty good. She got a soup side, which was OK and the fries I ordered were OK as well. We ordered a small sausage & mushroom extra thin pizza. Their version of extra thin is thicker than most. They have a sweet sauce like Palermo's or Grassano's, which I do not prefer, but my wife liked it. I wanted to try this pizza and we did. I wouldn't recommend Paisans but that's just us. We won't go back. Our bill came to $62. Food and alcohol are not cheap. read more

We had a medium cheese pizza, a cup of soup, French fries and chicken parm $85 bucks. Wow that's a lot of money for pizza that is comparable to a frozen Djorno from jewel. Sorry but oaklawn is a highly competitive area for great pizza. This is mediocre. read more
