I called and placed the order easily and the worker who answered shared the total price and that they only accepted cash and the pizza would be ready in 30 minutes. I probably arrived 5 minutes early and it was ready. Quick cash transaction and customer service was fine. The pizza is pretty good, but not sure that it would land on my top 5 list...but maybe top 10.

It landed on the table fast and tasted incredibly fresh. That savory crunch from the premium salami bits paired up beautifully with the tangy gorgonzola. It was the perfect start. For the main event, we ordered the Chicago Classic deep dish on the famous buttercrust. It actually came out quicker than the usual deep-dish wait time. Truth be told, the pie felt a little skimpy on the toppings and cheese this time around. I know this pizza well, and this specific one was just a bit weak on the execution. The flavor was absolutely there because that buttery crust and bright vine ripened tomato sauce never miss but I wanted more weight to it. I noticed online they have been running a hot honey special lately, and I almost wish I had added that for a little extra kick. Even with a slightly thin pizza, the visit was great. Sandy was an absolute rock star. The table right next to us was being seriously unkind to her for no good reason, but she stayed totally professional and knocked our service completely out of the park. She got us fed and back on the road feeling good.

The place is not run down, but it is dated. Maybe they are just holding on to the corner lot where they have a prime location. The dining room only had a few people in it, and thus the service was good. They don't seem to do the business they used to, but even with that it's hard to beat a pizza served fresh to your table off the oven. The house Chianti was very nice and priced the same. While we prefer the much larger Homewood original location, this place can stand in in a pinch.

Decided to check this place out again since I heard it's under new management, mind u I used to come here 20 years ago, the new owner has turned this place around, the burger is one of the best in the area, fresh ingredients, the staff, the atmosphere, everything about it was amazing, I even won $50 at the slots and gave it to the waitress because she was outstanding, shout out to Lisa thank you everything was great from beginning to end read more

My friend and I were out with our two children and wanted to grab lunch. We were going to go to Kizmets but it there was no place to sit. We went next door to Little Joes. What a pleasant surprise!! Chicken lemon was to die for and at a great price--$5.95. We both had dinner and the kids had pizza slices. We paid $20 including tip. It was awesome. Would highly recommend the place. I've been eating here for years. The food here is always very good. If you go on a Tuesday you get a lot for your money because its 2 for 1 pasta. Also, the staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant. read more
