Our server could have been more efficient and saved herself.Some trips , if she combined delivering our food. Soups were cold, but no one sent them back. Veal parmesan Sandwich was a bit burnt. She was swift on picking up the dirty dishes. AND THEY ADD AN AUTOMATIC 20% TIP...AND NO SEPERATE CHECKS! AMAZING DEEP DISH PIZZA! I would definitely recommend going. Probably my favorite part wasn't the pizza, but the appetizers that we got. The best one was a slice of toast with tomato on top. Forgot what it was called but it was extremely good, same with the fresh bread that was also served. The inside was great and lots of people seemed to be having a great time. What a great place! The service and staff are flawless, everything was done in a timely manner. The food was fresh, and well portioned as well, the ambiance was well lite and updated. We had our sons wedding rehearsal here and had a party of 25 maybe a couple more than that, it is child friendly, very clean, all fresh food, and the food ,was delish on every level, pictures to follow, I highly recommend this place . Placed a catering order for chicken Marsala. It was 95% linguine, 5% chicken & mushrooms. Very disappointing.

Service was quick and friendly, and the place has a nice, casual vibe. Prices are great! But we are on the hunt for the best thin crust pizza, and Jullianni's fell a bit short. In short, the sauce was fine, but the sausage did not have a lot of fennel (personally, my fave), and the crust was too thick for thin crust. read more

I had been dining at Julianni's for years. My family would have an occasional dinner. We celebrated many family events at the restaurant. I threw a surprise birthday party for my best friend at Julianni's. My best friend threw me a surprise birthday party at Julianni's. My best friend & I would celebrate our traditional pre-Christmas dinner at Julianni's. These traditions had spanned well over 10 or more years. The staff at Julianni's is always friendly and professional. The restaurant and facilities are always well kept and clean. The bar is cozy and well stocked. Julianni's has all the requirements to earn the title of "Best In Town." Today my family invited me to dine at Julianni's for one last hooray! I am scheduled for bariatric surgery in January 2024. I will not be able to fully enjoy pizza, fried mushrooms or calamari as I once had been able to enjoy. I spoke with the owner, Bill and expressed my years of gratitude today. He is a good man with a great staff in a great restaurant. The restaurant always gathers regulars. Neighborhoods folk love being within walking distance to Julianni's. I live just 5 minutes away so it's not too far for me. The restaurant is located at the end of a shopping center in the southwest corner of Harlem Avenue & College Drive (Rte 83) in Palos Heights. If you are shopping at the Chicago Ridge Mall or Orland Square Mall for Christmas 2023, please visit Julianni's for lunch or dinner. I will be able to dine at Julianni's again once my metabolism is capable to digesting solid foods again several months after my bariatric surgery. Though I will not be physically able to eat pizza or deep fried foods anymore, Julianni's offers a menu full of other great food experiences. I brought a copy of their take out menu home so that I could discuss bariatric friendly alternatives other than just salad. I respect Julianni's for years of great service. I will continue to tell my friends of Julianni's. I do hope this review encourages new patrons to Julianni's. Julianni's, thank you for years of great food, service & memories. Ample parking in the parking lot because it's located in a strip mall. Hostess was standing behind front counter - was very nice and quick. Ordered online to receive 15% off the order - still paid typical price for a 16" one topping pizza in the area, even after the 15% applied. Pizza was OK. Crust was not very thin - and outer crust was pretty thick actually - too doughy tasting. I like a semi-sweet to sweet sauce - but sauce was tangy not sweet. *7.1 read more

I think we're going to have to give this place another shot. We came here for a quick bite before heading to Oak Brook for a play. We ordered: Eggplant parm over spaghetti -- it was ok Salmon over large Greek salad -- NOPE, salmon was very fishy, I couldn't eat. This is my very favorite place for pizza in all of Chicagoland. The owner is almost always here. He is super friendly and caring. I have actually been coming here since I was a teenager. When my kids were young, we would come here once a week for pizza and Bill, the owner, would come and sit and talk with us. The waitresses would chat with us also. We felt like we were having a meal at a relative's house. The deep dish pizza and the thin crust pizza are absolutely to die for. The fried mushrooms are a great appetizer. My absolute favorite deep dish pizza here is stuffed spinach with mushrooms. The restaurant is cozy inside but if you prefer to sit outside, there is some outdoor seating also. One of my favorite restaurants when visiting my cousins and sisters. What stands out at Jullianni's are the staff and owner, they're very friendly and ready to please but a few of the food items I wasn't happy with starting with the Pasta Fagioli, it was way too salty, try the chicken soup instead. My sister ordered a thin crust sausage and cheese pizza and gave me a few slices, I thought it was just OK, nothing special. Now for the good bits. They bring you warm rolls wrapped in foil when you're seated, I thought that was a nice touch and they're really good about refills with coffee and soda pop. This was a nice little Italian restaurant located at the end of a strip mall on College Drive - just off Harlem Avenue. In general: big sprawling place, very clean, great waitstaff, full bar, and good food with large portions. We started with a few drinks: Julliannis Margarita (4 star nice) and a strawberry Margarita (3 star ok ...tasted a bit weak). Mozzarella sticks followed (only 3 stars as the outside could have crunchier and the cheese a bit more melted). For dinner we had a meatball sandwich (4 star very good meatballs), a combo sandwich (4 star sausage but only 3 star beef - too much like Gaucho from my childhood), and a Fetticcini Alfredo (4 star nice, could have been a bit warmer). We finished with Cannoli (5 star stuff and the hit of the night). All in all liked it and we will be back - we have to try the pizza. read more

Since the last time we visited all the staff was new, one waitress had their 4 year old daughter follow her as she was serving that is crazy. My wife and ate here on 10/13/2023 and we had the cheese sticks and a XL extra thin sausage with extra cheese. Pizza crust was very good. Not a lot of sausage on pizza. And extra wasn't really extra cheese. But overall pizza based on taste I'd give it 7. Because most pizza places can't seem to get extra thin. But at Jullianni's they hit that on the head. The pizza was good. Sauce could use some sprucing up. But the service was great and we'd definitely come back for pizza. Love restaurants that have Pepsi products as well. read more

First, I want to say that the stuffed pizza at Jullianni's is top notch. But that's not what this review is about. We booked Jullianni's for a lunch for around 30 people after an event. The price was reasonable, so I didn't expect much in terms of food quality or quantity - I assumed it would probably be average at best. Well, I am happy to report that we made a very good decision in utilizing Jullianni's for our "after event" lunch. The quality of the food was good. It wasn't something you would rave about, but that's not what I wanted from this lunch - I wanted consistently good food across the board, and that's exactly what I got. What was really impressive was the amount of food that we got for the price: Appetizers Bread Salad Soup Pasta Pizza There was so much food that my friends who can basically eat mountains worth of food, were impressed. The service was very friendly, attentive and kept the food/drinks flowing. I highly recommend utilizing Julliani's for a "lunch event", if what I have described so far sounds good to you. I know Jullianni's is known for their excellent pizza, but I think that does a disservice to the rest of their menu items. They have such good soups and appetizers like their tex-mex egg rolls! We have all seen a movie set in Chicago with a home town bar as part of the plot. This is that place in real life, the staff made me feel like I was a regular. Just came home with a large pizza and it's smaller than a pizza purchased a month and the toppings, well you had to look for them. Cost wise the pizza purchased today wasn't worth the money. We recently went to Julliani's for the first time with a large group. We called ahead to make a reservation, but added 4 more people when we arrived. They were extremely accommodating even though they had to move tables around. They never, at any point, made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Our group included some out of state family and babies, so we spent a lot of time catching up with each other before ordering. The waitress didn't rush us and was very kind.
