I will not be dealing with this Pak Mail store again. I got a miniature portrait for Auction house in Georgia. I received what I considered very expensive quotes. The auction house reached out to this Pak Mail store and they said that they would ship for 25.00. I received the miniature portrait and months later the owner called me saying that I had not paid for shipping??? He said he had tried to contact me numerous times by phone and email (I saw no messages, no emails. He called Christmas Eve and said it was just 25.00 and wanted my credit card information. to go ahead and take care of. I said I would mail him a check., I thought all seemed fishy --Usually nothing is shipped before it is paid for and I thought that I had paid for shipping. I called the store and said I wanted to pay my balance. They said that they did not show that I owed anything. Told owner this and he said he took care of all the billing that I owed him the 25.00. So I told him I will mail a check. Had check ready to mail but called my bank before I mailed and I had paid the 25.00 months before about one week after auction. This was a scam on the part of owner. I emailed him that I checked with my bank and told him date paid and I would not be sending a check. Never heard another word from the guy. This review is long overdue so I apologize to Alan and crew for that. I had the BEST experience at Pak Mail last year. Precious family items needed to be ship from Marietta to San Diego and Alan offered up the safest and best priced solution. Instead of individual boxes, he offered pallet shipping and saved me hundreds of dollars. As someone without much shipping history, I wouldn't have known it to be an option for a consumer. This location is under new management. Both times when I've been in, the owner is very helpful and there's rarely a line. Much easier than standing in line at the sprayberry post office, and cheaper than the UPS Store down the street. read more

Never in my life have I been so saddened and disappointed in a shipping service. I personally buy thousands of objects a year for my business and have them shipped. I have never experienced such poor shipping service. I used pakmail to pick up and ship an auction item I purchased after getting 3 quotes. They weren't the cheapest, however, they were quick to respond and I liked that. I had them pack the item and we had several exchanges about how to pack the item. I was assured the method was satisfactory and the object would travel fine. I took out insurance on the item. Fast forward a few weeks later it arrived completely broken. The insurance on the item didn't even cover the repair. I wasn't even given half of the insurance I paid for. Nobody came to inspect the packing materials. The management took no responsibility for their lack of knowledge in packing skills, nor did they offer to refund any part of the over $500 shipping fee. So I basically paid this company $500 to break a one of a kind item. DO NOT USE THIS SHIPPER!!!!!! THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO PACK. WHEN THEY BREAK THINGS THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY!!!! read more

Says they're a certified Fed-Ex location, but wouldn't accept my shipment using my own Fex-Ex account.

Very dissatisfied. Broken shipment multiple times, went to repair shop, gotten estimate and repaired, provided invoice. They first agreed to cover and supposedly opened the claim with the shipper (UPS). Promised to pay "next week" multiple times, but when the claim time expired refused to cover claiming the UPS refused to honor the claim ( as a customer broken shipment is shipper problem, reimburse and then you can go after UPS claims.). Bait and switch tactics. Misplaced items during shipment and hid the fact. Customer beware. read more
