My favorites have consisted of a Cuban sandwich which is full of pork and sauce and toasted nicely. It also does not fall apart when eating which is a plus when you are trying to stay looking presentable. Their pork is amazingly juicy and just falls apart in your mouth and has been worth every stain I have accidentally caused on my dress shirts. The white rice is fluffy and simple and good but their yellow rice is much better with many items. Their chicharron de cerdo is crispy and breaks easy and it's never been hard or chewy. Their ropa vieja is also delicious and I can't help but devour the entire plate. The rice and beans paired real good with this! My favorite sides have been the avocado salad and their macaroni salad! Both very light and balanced well with light citrus flavors in the avocado salad. After car shopping all day, my wife and I were starving when one of the sales associates ran out to grab her take-out at a restaurant close by. When she came back her food smelled amazing and we overheard her telling another associate she went to " Tu Casa." So immediately after we finished our business we headed straight there! There were tons of options but we decided on sharing the "Creación Plus" which consists of 1 base, 2 meats, and 1 side. We got the arroz con gandules, with pernil, pollo, and maduros. Everything tasted good. Not the best but not the worst. The stand out was the pernil with good flavor and the slightly disappointment was the chicken since it was dry. I really enjoy this food. Anytime i am in this area, i stop here for food whether i am hungry or not. Very flavorful food. This is a Dominican Restaurant served cafeteria style i would say (like chipotle). Prices are very good compared to the amount of food you get. This establishment speaks both Spanish and English and the food is authentic. I usually get the white rice, pinto beans, plantain and shredded beef. The inside has plenty of seating and the dood is served assembly-line style but they also have cooked to order options. I got a bacon egg and cheese and it was tasty. The portion sizes are large and the tres leches cake is DELICIOUS! I am only docking a star because it took 30 mins to make my breakfast sandwich even though there were only 2 other people in the restaurant. Wow. Generous servings that was a great introduction to Dominican cuisine with items we tried for the first time that were so delicious and wholesome, all for a fair price. There are different plate options that allow you to customize your plate. We also got a Cuban sandwich that did not skimp on the meat, but I wish had more sauce. Our dessert of choice was probably the best tres leches I've ever had- a delicate and moist cake with just the right amount of sweetness that wasn't too sugary. So the amount of times I have driven past this place on a daily basis but not stop by...is very mind boggling to me! I recently had the opportunity to finally try out this place for lunch and it definitely was a solid option. The restaurant had a good amount of seating and looked very bright and clean with very homey decor. When you first enter into the door it takes you directly into the waiting line where you pick and choose the items you want "cafeteria style". They had every traditional dish you could think of including different rices and meats to choose from! Me being the indecisive person that I am...could not make up my mind. I ended up getting multiple things. For my entree, I got the pernil (pork) , arroz con gandules and yucca. I also got a side of pastelon (plantain dish) and the seafood salad.... oh and let's not forget about the guava and cheese pastry for dessert! Everything that I had was actually pretty good! Now I'm alway cautious when it comes to places that serve "cafeteria style"....just because sometimes the food sits there for a while and gets hard and cold... but that wasn't the case here! My standouts had to be hands down the pastelon and guava and cheese pastry. Those two items, I would definitely go out of my way to return to get. We ordered yellow rice, baked chicken, maduros, avocado salad, and the obligatory cuban sandwich. It was served quickly and the portions were HUGE. The chicken was a bit dry - but it was white meat so it wasn't unexpected. The dark meat was much better. The maduros were excellent as was the avocado salad and the cuban sandwich.
