I wasn't sure about this place but it was for a family members birthday so I definitely wanted to support but honestly ... I'm glad I went. This is a dinner and show !! The staff especially the performer was amazing !! There was live music, and a line dance going on a some point ! The drinks and food was sooooooooo good. The rice was a little salty. Portions was actually really big. The empanadas were good. I do think it was more in the pricey side but if you got it def stop by and if you do ask for Edgar !!

Hidden Jem! Visited with my colleagues and boy was this place a vibe! Located within Margaritaville, Estefan's Kitchen provided my group with a memorable experience. We ate good, danced and made friends. Upon parking, which was plentiful we were greeted with an aroma that excited our tastebud and music playing that made you want to do a happy dance. There is a dj in the street area/courtyard which seemed like a part of Margaritaville entertainment but it set the tone for Estefan's because when we got inside the restaurant the music was jumping in there. There was a DJ inside playing music from every genre. There were not many people inside however, I attribute that to being 7pm on Sunday in an area where there are PLENTY of places to dine. To our advantage, we got seated quickly without a reservation.Ana our server was fast and attentive. Now, our food was 10 out of 10!! We ordered apps for the table so we all could try something different. The winners for me were the garlic shrimp and fried pork - the Latin flavors were on point. For dinner I ordered the Ropa Vieja, slow cooked shredded beef with a side of white rice. Delicious! I was able to taste the Chino Cubano rice and Avocado Salad both were amazing as well. After dinner, my colleagues ordered drinks and then we danced. Actually, we were dancing and eating the whole time! Lol. Towards the end of the night we formed a Congo line to the song Congo and met 2 other tables all celebrating birthdays. Overall, a great time and I will be definitely be back!!

WOW! What an amazing night we had celebrating my friend's 50th birthday. The music and dance floor was 10/10! Drinks and food were fabulous with huge portions and very fresh. Be ready for the music to be very loud during your whole dinner, but the energy will get you on your feet. Order the Paella and plan on being able to share with more than 2 people! It's the best I've ever had. Our service was outstanding. Quick, accommodating and friendly.

One of my favorite restaurants was Bongos in Disney Springs, and I was thrilled to hear the owners opened this new restaurant. Our server Ana was excellent and so friendly. When I tried my husband's cocktail, she came over to make sure everything was ok with the drinks which was thoughtful. Our food was delicious and so full of flavor. I ordered the Palomilla steak and my husband had the roasted shredded pork. Everything was well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The piano singer was great to listen to even though we don't speak Spanish. The whole restaurant is beautiful and very clean. I would love to come back the next time I'm in the area.

That wasn't the first time we went to Estefan. I think at margaritaville area, it's the fanciest place to go. But it's not all dream right? Was shocked when I ordered an draft and they don't have a any draft, that's so sad. So instead we ordered some drinks (for me was pricey as I didn't like it, if I liked was ok) But said that, ordered some coke (really watery), but we went there to meet some friends from another country, so they liked the atmosphere, they do have (I think manager, an old man (if I can say like that) that it's really charismatic, always asking if everything was ok with a big smile in his face. The food it's a must, I always eat the Vaca loka (shredded beef) comes with rice an Cuban beans that were so tasty. The pulled pork it's also amazing. That's a place that you will enjoy, can be loud as they do have live music, but it's honest for the place and price range it's ok for the area

Such amazing service. Loved the food and the vibe. I even bought a 25 dollar Gloria Estefan shirt. They had a photographer on site. Definitely recommend having your bday here

sad birthday dessert for about $40 a plate

The food was good, although a little overpriced. The only disappointing part of our visit was my brother's birthday celebration. I had asked if they could bring out a little something for his birthday, and they brought out half a strawberry with a little chocolate drizzle. What made it especially disappointing was that multiple birthday tables around us received full desserts with large sparkler candles. Our party spent over $400 before tip, so we were just hoping for the same experience. We were also surprised that such a high end restaurant had a very limited drink selection and didn't offer some simple drinks we asked about that were promoted on their menu. Overall, we enjoyed the food, but the inconsistency and the way the birthday celebration was handled left us feeling a bit overlooked.

Place is located in a mall parking will be an issue give yourself some time. Walked in to this upscale trendy place with live Spanish band. The ambiance was fabulous! We were seated right by the stage, we were a party of 10 and our waiter provided good service. We ordered the mixed appetizer platter , empanadas and ceviche, The best one was the empanadas it was an order of 3 each with a different flavorful filling. We all had different entrees and we were all very happy with our selections. To finish off the meal with flan and tres leche which were creamy and satisfying. We definitely return if in the area!

Really enjoyed my first time at Estefan kitchen! The food was very flavorful. I had the ropa vieja. The spicy mango mojito was great as well! The staff was friendly and efficient. It was nice to have this singer playing background tunes. Would definitely go back.

What a lovely place, beautiful decor and kind people. I celebrated my 40th birthday and my friend couldn't have selected a better place. Many thanks to Ana our server, kind beautiful and informative. And the food was delicious!!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and we had the best time! There was a live band with live Latin music and it was so fun! The restaurant is so beautiful, modern, and chic. It's perfect for any occasion. The food was also delicious. We tried the beef empanadas, masitas de cerdo with moro rice and smashed yuca with garlic. Despite being super busy, service was great. It gets very busy especially on weekends so reservations are highly encouraged. Overall, we had an amazing experience and can't wait to go back soon!

GF MIRIAM'S "SPECIAL" CHICKEN & RICE Slow braised quartered boneless chicken thighs, roasted red peppers, Estefan Kitchen criollo sauce, yellow rice, olives, green peas, and topped with sweet plantains

$9 for "Traditional Chicken Soup", I could have gotten a lot more for a lot less at Wawa 1 block East of this location.

Substantial menu selections with high prices, service is ok but not prompt/responsive. Any/all Latin/Spanish are known for large portions compared to pricing, unfortunately they fall very short. Location is convenient and inviting however they appear to pay attention to the outdoor diners as opposed to those inside. My 1st & last time dinning there...

Ask the Community - Estefan Kitchen Orlando

Does the "happy birthday to you" song play all the time or is there a time during the day or any other day when this song does not play?

The only time when the Happy Birthday song is not displayed on the big screen is when the live band is playing.

    Is there a kids menu?

Yes, we do. Mac& Cheese, Burgers, Chicken Nuggets, and Chicken Breast.

What time is the dinner menu for?

You need to go to the website because they have different times.

    Is it kid friendly?

I think so! If I remember correctly they do have a kids menu but nothing on the regular menu is spicy or too complex so my kids happily ate it. My youngest (4) had the mini Cuban sandwiches which is an appetizer and my oldest (8) had the Cuban pork…

A Little Taste of Grandma's Kitchen…read more I actually visited Melao Bakery in Kissimmee twice over the same weekend with family--and I think that alone says something! We didn't get a chance to take photos either visit because we were too busy eating and enjoying ourselves, but I definitely wanted to leave an honest review. The smells, the trays of food, the pan sobao, the pastries...it brought back memories of being in Grandma's kitchen, where there was always something cooking and you definitely weren't leaving hungry. Restaurant Vibes & Service: 4/5 Both times we visited, Melao was BUSY! There were long lines and a bit of a wait, but honestly, that usually tells me people know where the good food is. Despite how busy it was, the staff remained friendly and courteous, which we appreciated. Pollo Guisado with Yellow Rice: 4/5 First of all...the portions are GENEROUS! You could easily feed two people from one plate. The pollo guisado was fresh, flavorful, tender and comforting--the kind of Puerto Rican soul food that makes you want to sit down, slow down and enjoy your plate. My only personal preference would be a little more garlic, because in my family there's almost no such thing as too much garlic. Still, absolutely delicious! Carne Guisada: 5/5 This one was a winner! Another huge portion, with tender meat and lots of fresh, comforting flavor. Definitely something we would order again. Alcapurria: 3/5 Good, but probably one of the weaker items we tried. It didn't taste quite as fresh as everything else--almost like it had been sitting in the warmer for a little while--and it was a bit greasier than I personally prefer. Not bad, just not my favorite. Bacon, Egg & Cheese on Pan Sobao: 4/5: Now this was GOOD! Fresh and made to order, and putting bacon, egg and cheese on that soft, slightly sweet pan sobao just works. The only gripe was that my mom requested sautéed onions and unfortunately they were left off. Still delicious, though! Puerto Rican Cake Slices: 4/5 Fresh, soft and delicious with a light whipped frosting that wasn't overly heavy or sweet. We all agreed that a little layer of fruit filling would have taken these to another level, but we would absolutely order them again. Guava Cake Slice: 5/5 MY FAVORITE! This one had me from the first bite. Moist, delicious and just sweet enough, with that beautiful guava flavor coming through without being overpowering. I'd go back for this alone! Mantecaditos: 3/5 They tasted fresh, but these just weren't really my favorite. Sometimes everything can be made well and still not be your thing--and that was these for me. Corn Bread: 4/5 Fresh and soft, but a little sweeter than I personally like my cornbread. My family, however, LOVES it, so clearly I'm outnumbered on this one. Pan Sobao: 5/5 You really can't go wrong here. Fresh-baked, pillowy soft and slightly sweet. The kind of bread you tear a piece off of "just to taste" and somehow keep going back for another piece. Overall What stood out most about Melao was the freshness, generous portions and that familiar Puerto Rican comfort-food feeling. Not every single item was a 5/5 for us, and there were a couple of little misses, but the things they do well, they do really well. More than anything, eating here gave us that warm nostalgic feeling of food made in Grandma's kitchen--big portions, familiar flavors, sweet bread on the table, and family gathered around enjoying a meal together. We came twice in one weekend, and we'll definitely be back to work our way through more of the menu. Sometimes food isn't just about how something tastes--it's about what it reminds you of. And Melao gave us a little taste of home.

Had a fantastic experience with their pastries. I entered on a whim and just decided to see what…read morestood out. The staff will ask how many pastries you want so they know what size box to give you. I went with an almond pastry with cheese filling, a guava popover, a flaky glazed pastry, and a slice of cake with a pineapple and coconut topping. Everything was delicious but the star was the pineapple coconut cake. I thought it was just a regular pound cake with a pinapple marmalade on top but the cake was actually soaked in a pineapple syrup of some kind and I finished the whole thing in one go! Highly recommend. The space is open and seems to have plenty of seating, the displays are well lit and the staff was all very kind. Will certainly be back!
