I recently dined at Palace Indian restaurant, and overall I had a good experience. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, including the appetizer. My favorite dish was the lamb vindaloo, flavorful, and the perfect level of spice, I did ask for extra spicy, and it was decent, for someone who's spice tolerance is high, "extra spicy" here was just ok. The mango lassi is outstanding. It tasted fresh, nice consistency and not too overly sweet, which makes it a perfect match for any of their spicy dishes. I also recommend the onion bhaji, it's a delicious fried fritter, and an excellent choice for those who don't eat meat. There was one issue that made me, and my group a bit uncomfortable, and it was related to food handling and hygiene. There's an older female staff woman who walks around collecting empty dishes, but most surpassingly also is brining out food from the kitchen... with her hair opened up, down and flowing. When someone is handling food, typically their hair is pulled back, tied, out of their face and or have on a hair net. I recently got this delivered from doordash as I was really craving Indian cuisine. I must say it arrived piping hot, which I appreciate because we know how mobile ordering sometimes arrives lukewarm. I got the Chicken Tikka Marsala(mild) but I must admit there was no spice at all in this dish. The chicken portions were also very minimal, the tin was filled mostly with sauce. This came with white rice, which paired well, and I ordered garlic naan on the side. The naan was amazing! My only complaint would be they only give you one. I really feel the food distribution may have been lunch sizing and not dinner. I would try this again, but I would sit in person so I can give it a fair chance for service and environment. read more

walked into a very pleasant atmosphere, was greeted by the host at the door who in fact opened the door as soon as they saw us arriving. We were immediately given water and asked what drinks we would like. I ordered the tandoori paneer, and my husband ordered the tandoori chicken and the cheese naan which is a game changer! Delicious! The paneer was just amazing and i couldn't get enough of it and what a big portion. The spices were on point and there were large pieces of peppers and onions mixed in that gave it more flavors, you can taste the tandoori oven smoke. My husband's chicken tandoori was a very nice size and also the flavors were spectacular. Each dish was accompanied by a Dahl Makhani soup which was delicious and a nice touch. We definitely will be back. One side note, the very nice woman busser had her hair down and in-front of her face and when she was bringing waters and food to table and putting dishes on table she held the dishes high near the ends of her hair and when she bent forward her hair was touching the dishes. I advised the service staff and they corrected it. Hair should be tied back when working in any food establishment near food. But other than that this is our new go to place! read more

The lunch buffet was great - the items you expect like saag paneer and chicken tikka were great. The fresh naan at the table was outstanding. The service was good too - items were refilled and there was a good variety of options. The dessert was delicious (rice pudding and mango fruit custard). The ambiance is typical Indian restaurant- sort of nice mixed with things that should be hidden but arent. The restrooms are disgusting but this seems to be par for the course. For restaurant owners - dont have the path to the restroom force customers to see the "behind the scenes" stuff. It's what sets your restaurant apart from nicer ones. Overall very good. read more

They answer in person on the phone and took my order, and it was ready when we got there within 15 minutes. I didn't get to see the inside since I waited in the car while my friend picked it up. We got a butter, chicken, Palak paneer and lots of naan. The food was so delicious and flavorful, exactly the right amount of spice for each level, and lots of extra sauce for dipping our naan. It looks like there's some more intimate seating but we were more in the event space because of the buffet style offering they had. I have not been to the Palace in many years. Went with a friend for the lunch buffet to give it another try. The dining area for the buffet is plain. (There is a fancier area on the other side with colorful tablecloths, but I'm not sure who is served there.) There were no samosas. And I forgot to ask why they were missing. The naan is not on the buffet but provided once you sit down to eat. The bean dish was a bit too mushy for me (almost pureed), the chana (chick pea) masala was good, and the lamb was a bit dry. The chicken dishes were the standout, with the butter chicken melting in my mouth. The tandoori came out after I had eaten, so I did not try it. My friend said it was good, but spicy. Both rice dishes were a bit undercooked. So, I sopped up my gravies with the naan. The two offerings for dessert were a fruit in a yogurt kind of mixture and a rice pudding. Both were good. But I liked the rice pudding better. I really missed not having some plain vegetable dishes (no beans) like cauliflower or carrots. There was a spinach dish; but it had cheese, and I am lactose intolerant. The buffet was $19.99 each. We had a buy 1 get 1 50% off coupon. So we paid $30 plus tax for two people. Been wanting to try this place and finally went with a few friends who have already had positive experiences here. I'm fairly new to Indian cuisine but I love flavor and I'm open to trying all the things. Service was super friendly, we were seated and served by a lovely gentleman named Ronaldo who had great recommendations for us through the evening. Our booth had a wooden canopy, which helped it feel more private, with Indian decor on the walls, lots of gold trim. Quaint and welcoming. We had a Taj Mahal beer, which was light bodied yet still flavorful and went wonderfully with the complex flavors of the food we ordered. One friend ordered the butter chicken, which was creamy with a light finish of tart tomato, the other ordered goat biryani, and I ordered the lamb curry. We also ordered garlic naan, potato kulcha, and cheese kulcha to split among everyone. I really appreciated the layers of flavor in my lamb curry, it was rich and full of aromatics and spices, like a slow-braised pot roast but with next-level flavor. The naan was fresh and warm and was the perfect vessel for bites of sauce. I ordered a mango lassi to go for dessert and it perfectly capped off the meal. I tried this place twice for the lunch buffet. The first time I tried it was because other reviews mentioned samosas, and I'm a glutton for any form of food that's wrapped in dough and deep fried. Unfortunately when we got there, there were no samosas to be found, but the food was decent- the tandoori chicken had a bit of heat to it and the other plates we tried (chicken tikka masala, some sort of lamb stew?) Were also well-seasoned and tasty. Fast forward, I'm craving samosas, I stumble back on this restaurant with all their reviews, so I called and asked. They tell me they have them sometimes, and it was my lucky day! We head over. The samosas were good, but everything else was awful. There was no heat to anything, and all the food was sort of bland. The chicken tikka masala was completely overcooked and the chicken was dry. It was so inconsistent with our first trip. Unfortunately I think I will have to let my dream of unlimited samosas go, and stick to Zaika in Weston. They've never let me down. read more

The food here is really interesting and has traditional flavors you would expect for an Indian Food Buffet. Today there were some new dishes I have not had before. They usually try to put something, let's say experimental, delicious on the buffet. Today was Saag Mushroom. Which isn't on the regular menu. The service is always great. We used to come here all the time but we moved away. Came back today for a lunch treat. They have lunch buffet every day except Tuesday when they are closed. The Naan was very fresh and served hot. Not warm, hot. It was great to soak up the extra sauce from the lamb. The regular menu has goat too. Great vegan options for sure. They usually have the Bollywood on the tv too. They have a private room and they have an entertainment system for private parties. You will be happy you went. And the prices are great. Excellent value. read more

I have been to Palace a few times and the most recent experience was a dine in. We had ordered 4 items, two appetizers and two main dishes. Dining in at this restaurant is really nice as there are relly well decorated booths as well as unique art pieces on the walls. The server was also really nice and funny and this made the ordering experience much easier. For the appetizers, we ordered the chilli paneer as well as the gobi manchurean. The chilli paneer was okay, but the gobi manchurean was really good. The only issue we had with these were that the portion sizes were really small for the cost of each item. For the main dishes, we ordered paneer makhani and daal makhani along with the garlic naan and the chilli garlic naan. Both the naans were really good. I especially recommend the chilli one if you are a fan of spicy food. In terms of the dishes, the paneer was great, but would not recommend the daal. It was kinda of bland and not really worth the price. The dishes also came with rice and yogurt which was a good bonus. Overall, this was a pretty good indian restaurant, but was quite expensive with limited portions. read more

Wonderful dining experience. We enjoyed a colorful meal at the Palace. We had dinner with two other couples and we ordered a wide variety of food. Everything was well seasoned and spiced to the correct temperature. I enjoy a vegan lifestyle and was pleased to see a wide variety of vegan options on the menu, they even offer Vegan naan. Our waiter was extremely attentive and all of the food came out correctly. We never had an empty beverage. My past experience (under different ownership) was not the best. We don't know much about Indian food so this gave us more than enough choices to try several dishes. The naan brought to our table was delicious, as was the mango lassi.
