This restaurant is located in a massage place. There is plenty of parking in the lot. The restaurant (on the outside) appears to be tiny. Lo and behold, it was very long. We were there on a Saturday night and the restaurant was (at its peek) half full. When asked, the server quickly brought over the highchair. We started off with an order of naan and a samosa chaat. Both were very good. Extra bonus : 15% military discount year round.

A little bit of India right in Broward County! Parking: fairly easy as it is in a Costco strip mall Drinks: they have a bar with a limited wine selection. Nothing fancy...but that's not what we went for!! Food: 10/10!! So delicious! We had Mango Curry Chicken, Channa Masala, Shrimp Vindaloo, samosas, dal, chicken wings and carrot cake dessert. Everything was exceptionally delicious!! We asked for food to be extra spicy and it was! Service: very good service. Atmosphere/vibe: it is a very nice looking space but there was literally not another guest dining for dinner and we were there for two hours. We did notice that they did a large number of takeout orders. So if you are going for a vibe, this won't work if you enjoy being around other patrons. But again, we went for the food! Age group: it was just us Bathroom: they have one but we didn't need to use it Return: Yes! And maybe try take out as well!!!

I had a great experience dining at Golden Chariot. I highly recommend checking this place out. The ambiance and decorations are really lovely, the menu and the taste of the food are delicious, service is great and there are 2 non-gender bathrooms that have nice tile work on the floor and walls, and plenty of parking in the area. I decided to try Taj Mahal beer. It was nice and light. I ordered the lamb Korma (comes with rice) and the Peshwari Naan. Very delicious. For large parties, 18% tip is already added. There are 2 10-seated tables for large parties and several other smaller tables. I will definitely be back!

This place just open nearby where I live and I decided to stop by for some dinner. The ambience was very nice. The customer service was great very attentive very friendly and clean. The food was good. I did get medium and expect it to be a little bit spicier than what it was because I do like my food spicy, but to me, it wasn't spicy at all, next time I will def adjust. We did end up getting the butter chicken and shrimp tikka masala. Overall, definitely a cute place for a date night.

Food was excellent fresh and tasty. The service was very attentive. The ambience is very calm and relaxing. The food was very very good. I just was very pleased with our meals.

Fantastic food! If you are craving Indian food, this is the place. The cauliflower bites were insane and they have so many vegetarian options. When we received our Prosecco bottle, the server took his time with us and was presentational and thoughtful. The aesthetic is clean and beautiful and eye catching. Great music.

    Garlic naan

Butter chicken was amazing. Dinner was def two meals worth. Mango lassi was delicious as well.

The food was delicious, including the appetizer. My favorite dish was the lamb vindaloo, flavorful, and the perfect level of spice, I did ask for extra spicy, and it was decent, for someone who's spice tolerance is high, "extra spicy" here was just ok. The mango lassi is outstanding. It tasted fresh, nice consistency and not too overly sweet, which makes it a perfect match for any of their spicy dishes. I also recommend the onion bhaji, it's a delicious fried fritter, and an excellent choice for those who don't eat meat. There was one issue that made me, and my group a bit uncomfortable, and it was related to food handling and hygiene. There's an older female staff woman who walks around collecting empty dishes, but most surpassingly also is brining out food from the kitchen... with her hair opened up, down and flowing. When someone is handling food, typically their hair is pulled back, tied, out of their face and or have on a hair net. It made us all uncomfortable that this didn't seem to be addressed by management. Aside from hygiene concerns, that food and staff is excellent.

Now for the portions of the food it was great portioned. The butter chicken brought rice as which i couldn't tell if it did from the online ordering. Apparently this has been there for over a year but I've never heard or seen this place despite being in the plaza several times in the year. I was looking for something different or new. While searching Indian, this came up and the Himalayan aspect peaked my interest. Particularly the momo dumplings being something I've never seen before sold me on this spot. The space is small but spacious, clean and bright. The hostess/waitress was nice and helpful when I asked for recommendations. We ordered the HIMALAYAN THALI SET( FOR TWO) which came with an appetizer, 4 entrées, 2 desserts, naan of your choice and rice. We were told it would take a while to come out because it all comes out at once. We said it was fine and ordered some steamed chicken momo to hold us over till the food came. Our chili paneer app from our set came out and it was quite tasty with a good spice/flavor. Maybe 10ish minutes later our thali set came out. We went with our waitress rec for one veggie (aloo gobi), one chicken (karahi), one lamb (korma), and one seafood (shrimp tikki masala). It came with one bowl of rice for 4 bowls of food. We chose the garlic naan but they had many different more creative options to choose from. The naan was good but not great. The aloo gobi was tasty as was the shrimp tikki masala. The lamb korma sauce was delish but the lamb pieces were a little hit or miss with some tender but others a little harder or dry. Maybe another 10 minutes after our main dishes arrived, the steamed momo arrived. It was tasty and very layered with different flavors that I couldn't quite pinpoint. For dessert we got the kheer and mango kulfi which were unique. Without having a reference point for what a regular entree size is, it's kind of hard to say the cost value in the thali set for two, but if it's your first time and you want to try a a few things, it's probably worth it. I will be back to try the lunch specials next time.

Since Maharaja seemed to be the only Indian place nearby, we figured they got their snacks there. The eatery offers indoor and outdoor dining. And the decor is eclectic and cool. We were the only ones in the restaurant for a while on a Sunday at lunchtime, but soon we were joined by other diners. And like the passengers in the car, they, too, were South Asian. To me, this was a great sign. Our server was extremely polite. And she asked several times if the food was good and if we needed anything. We also got complimentary Indian crackers before our meals. And were given free warm cheese balls for dessert. We ordered the goat korma and the lamb maharaja, both medium spicy, for our meals. The goat was tender but the korma sauce was creamier than expected and a bit sweet with actual bits of raisins. The lamb maharaja was spicier than a medium level. But oh so good with a great tomato sauce that offered a scintillating tingle to our tongues. It was definitely the standout entree. And everything came to the table piping hot, including the dessert cheese ball. We were disappointed with our order of naan. It was flat and tasteless. We've had better naan from a grocery store package. While the food definitely was very good, we thought the prices were a bit high. Our entrees were close to $30 each. And the portions were decent but not ample. Lunch for 2 with 2 entrees, an order of naan, tax, and tip, was $80.

This charming and cozy restaurant serves up the most delicious and authentic North Indian and Punjabi dishes. The inside of the restaurant is thoughtfully decorated with colorful lamps and a Hindu inspired wall art. Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed and ushered to our seats by Jovan, our waiter. All through our meal, he remained attentive and enthusiastic, joining in on conversations and making recommendations. He also dealt with the two little ones who were with us in such a kind manner. We ordered a few items on the menu such as butter chicken, karari bhindi, lamb and chicken vindaloo, shrimp tikka masala and aloo paratha. Everything was delicious with the perfect amount of heat (spice level). Desert consisted of kulfi, ras malai and of course my fav, the mango lassi. We left Mantra with lots of leftovers and happy tummies. Definitely worth checking out for all your favorite Indian cuisines!

Based on the high ratings, we decided to try this place for dinner yesterday. Our server was sweet,…read morebut his attitude threw us off when he immediately started telling us how amazing the food is and that we "don't have to worry about it." It came across as lacking humility, and unfortunately, the food did not live up to that confidence. We had eaten at Taj Indian Grill just the day before, and the difference in quality was noticeable. Here's what we ordered: - Aaloo Tikki: Far too tangy, and we couldn't taste the green chutney at all. - Kurkuri Bhindi: The only dish we truly loved--perfectly cooked and flavorful. - Dal Tadka: Just okay. The one we had the previous night at Taj Indian Grill was significantly better. - Paneer Masala: Lacked flavor and tasted like tomato purée mixed with cream. The same dish at Taj Indian Grill was outstanding. My cousin ordered a chicken dish. When the server asked our preference between thigh and breast meat, my cousin asked for thigh meat. However, we were served breast meat. The worst part, unfortunately, was the dessert. We ordered the Malai Kulfi, which was taken straight from the freezer and served without clearing our plates. The kulfi itself was extremely disappointing--one of the worst I've had. I'm from North India, and I've had great kulfi over the years, but this one was so dense it needed a knife to cut, with a powdery taste none of us liked. When we mentioned it to our server, instead of simply apologizing, he responded arrogantly, insisting their kulfi is featured on a show and is a "signature dish." A good restaurant knows how to accept feedback rather than try to prove customers wrong, and this interaction rubbed us the wrong way. Overall, I'd rather drive the extra five minutes to Taj Indian Grill, where the food and service were far better.
