Took my friend and old coworker who is Indian to give her opinion on this charming Indian place I already love. Impeccable service, ambiance with mellow, background, Indian music coupled with the delicious food and tasty mango lassi met with her 2 thumbs up approval. As I knew it would!

This is a small Indian restaurant however they pack a big punch with hospitality. The decor and food were also a win. We came here to try a new spot which we heard so much about. They accommodated our large party without advance notice. Try and make advance notice it'll be easier, they still accommodated us. Some of the items we enjoyed were the eggplant which was deliciously smoked. And the okra, cooked perfectly and it was not mushy perfect texture. The naan was fantastic. We tried three varieties plain, garlic butter, and garlic cheese! Multiple members of our party had the butter wings, and they said they were delicious. Someone also had the lamb which we hear is also delicious . The kids loved the mango lassi and the lentil soup. Some of our favorite items were the desserts. The fresh gulab jamun and the mango ice cream! Too bad they didn't have the chai tea ice cream sandwich I really wanted that one, but the items we had were great, so next time. Overall, it was a tasty dining experience

It's good. What is listed on the menu isn't the traditional fare. For example, Butter Chicken isn't on the menu, but they can make it. It doesn't taste exactly like the Butter Chicken that I've had in other restaurants. There is a distinct spice in it that I couldn't put my finger on. Max loved his lamb dish. We were very happy with the Chicken Samosas. As for the beer and my Mango Lassi; we liked them. Our waiter was very accommodating with our requests for kid spicy. The interior is beautiful and they keep it a cool 72 degrees. This is the only Indian restaurant that is close to us and I know we will be doing a lot of takeouts. I'm curious about their rewards system. When I paid the bill with a cc, the machine popped up with a prompt that I caught some reward points. Our waiter said he thought it was for discounts. I'm down for any discount I can get!

Outstanding food and service! Will definitely have to return for round two! A plus that it's right down the street as well as I can even get takeout on the way home from work one day!

I went to Cloves in Miramar for the first time and I was very impressed. The ambiance is perfect. The furniture and music are perfect for dinner with friends or family. I was greeted by Danny the owner and he gave us GREAT recommendations and nothing disappointed. He was so polite and felt us feel at home. The food was excellent we had a little of everything. We started with a few appetizers like the Pani Puri and Samosa. The Mulligatawny & Tomato Coconut soup are a must along with both the Cheese and Garlic Naan. For the main dishes we did family style and had Chicken Tikka Masala Mango Chicken Curry Talli Lamb and Tawa Fish with a side of rice. One of the best Indian meals I've ever had

Cloves has the taste of a delicious hole in the wall restaurant, but the appearance of a luxurious, clean, modern one. The atmosphere is dim lighting and good music, and the most comfortable lounge sofas! The service is quick and good. As far as the food, I have been here three times and I'm always blown away. The Cloves app platter is a great starter, the Butter Chicken Poutin is dreamy (not on menu I think, it's butter chicken on top of French fries), best samosas I've ever had (not too strong on the pea flavor), and for entrees I recommend the turmeric coconut curry, or the tikka masala ofc, the mango curry is great - all these with whatever meat option you want. Honestly I could go on, but just do yourself a favor and go!

Garlic Naan and Lamb Tikka Masala, Mango Lassi

I stopped in while traveling for work. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The waiter was friendly and polite. I ordered the wings as a starter and Lamb Tikka Masala as my dinner. Of course a side of Garlic Naan. I have to say, the best Indian food I've ever had! The wings were well cooked, and the sauce was delicious! The lamb was tender and juicy and the spice level was on point! The garlic naan was seasoned well, and baked to perfection! I drink water and a Mango Lassi. So delicious! I can't recommend this place enough! Ownership came around to check and ensure guests were enjoying themselves. Certainly give them a try if you're looking for a new spot!

I ordered on Uber Eats and DoorDash this past weekend and both times were perfect. Honestly it's the best tasting Indian food I've had in years in South Florida. Better than Bombay Darbar. The curries are flavorful and you can taste the quality and freshness of spices. It's not just all heat. The Chicken Tikka I ordered mild and the smell was incredible when it was delivered. Knew it would be great. Last night I had the Punjabi Lamb curry with the roasted chilies and burnt garlic, more spicy but very well balance. Really enjoyed it and lamb was tender and succulent. I also had the Chettinadu Masala which has a slight sweetness to the spice, it was actually better than the Punjabi curry. I had the full Tandoori chicken which also was so tender and juicy. Most of the Indian places overcook tandoori chicken. The garlic naan and tandoori roti were perfectly made. Will be back to try other curries. Awesome this place is so close to me.

Bar area adorned with shells and stones... bringing earthly life and peace to your eyes... as you enjoy your self here...

There are few places where you actually can have an experience that takes you outside the normal day to day world... words can't describe how I felt sitting at the bar in jubilation and tranquility. The ambience and atmosphere here was warming as the staff were all so very nice. I felt a bit undressed as this is really... once you get inside an... experience... like going on a mini vacation. This place hides hidden by a dominos pizza joint... for those weary travelers who seek something outside the normal... come get away... not only will the vibes and elegance of this place take you away but the food as well will make your tastebuds hit all those delicious places in both your heart and mind that too is an experience and journey that you should at least try once... you will not be disappointed. I had the Lentil soup for starters.. followed by the mango curry chicken, with bread and butter to sop up the flavors. I... could not understand what was happening to my tastebuds...from the moment the chicken/rice/soup hit my mouth... with each passing spoonful I was in peace and wanting more. The entire staff was super friendly and especially Sherri... whose smile will forever live in my heart as pure beauty... she was very nice and perhaps one of the best servers I have ever had. I can't wait to for you to try and experience this place ! You will not be disappointed.

The pricing is very expensive for the quality and quantity of food that is served. The food is given spice over flavor.

This charming and cozy restaurant serves up the most delicious and authentic North Indian and Punjabi dishes. The inside of the restaurant is thoughtfully decorated with colorful lamps and a Hindu inspired wall art. Upon entering the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed and ushered to our seats by Jovan, our waiter. All through our meal, he remained attentive and enthusiastic, joining in on conversations and making recommendations. He also dealt with the two little ones who were with us in such a kind manner. We ordered a few items on the menu such as butter chicken, karari bhindi, lamb and chicken vindaloo, shrimp tikka masala and aloo paratha. Everything was delicious with the perfect amount of heat (spice level). Desert consisted of kulfi, ras malai and of course my fav, the mango lassi. We left Mantra with lots of leftovers and happy tummies. Definitely worth checking out for all your favorite Indian cuisines!

Based on the high ratings, we decided to try this place for dinner yesterday. Our server was sweet,…read morebut his attitude threw us off when he immediately started telling us how amazing the food is and that we "don't have to worry about it." It came across as lacking humility, and unfortunately, the food did not live up to that confidence. We had eaten at Taj Indian Grill just the day before, and the difference in quality was noticeable. Here's what we ordered: - Aaloo Tikki: Far too tangy, and we couldn't taste the green chutney at all. - Kurkuri Bhindi: The only dish we truly loved--perfectly cooked and flavorful. - Dal Tadka: Just okay. The one we had the previous night at Taj Indian Grill was significantly better. - Paneer Masala: Lacked flavor and tasted like tomato purée mixed with cream. The same dish at Taj Indian Grill was outstanding. My cousin ordered a chicken dish. When the server asked our preference between thigh and breast meat, my cousin asked for thigh meat. However, we were served breast meat. The worst part, unfortunately, was the dessert. We ordered the Malai Kulfi, which was taken straight from the freezer and served without clearing our plates. The kulfi itself was extremely disappointing--one of the worst I've had. I'm from North India, and I've had great kulfi over the years, but this one was so dense it needed a knife to cut, with a powdery taste none of us liked. When we mentioned it to our server, instead of simply apologizing, he responded arrogantly, insisting their kulfi is featured on a show and is a "signature dish." A good restaurant knows how to accept feedback rather than try to prove customers wrong, and this interaction rubbed us the wrong way. Overall, I'd rather drive the extra five minutes to Taj Indian Grill, where the food and service were far better.

Apparently this has been there for over a year but I've never heard or seen this place despite being in the plaza several times in the year. I was looking for something different or new. While searching Indian, this came up and the Himalayan aspect peaked my interest. Particularly the momo dumplings being something I've never seen before sold me on this spot. The space is small but spacious, clean and bright. The hostess/waitress was nice and helpful when I asked for recommendations. We ordered the HIMALAYAN THALI SET( FOR TWO) which came with an appetizer, 4 entrées, 2 desserts, naan of your choice and rice. We were told it would take a while to come out because it all comes out at once. We said it was fine and ordered some steamed chicken momo to hold us over till the food came. Our chili paneer app from our set came out and it was quite tasty with a good spice/flavor. Maybe 10ish minutes later our thali set came out. We went with our waitress rec for one veggie (aloo gobi), one chicken (karahi), one lamb (korma), and one seafood (shrimp tikki masala). It came with one bowl of rice for 4 bowls of food. We chose the garlic naan but they had many different more creative options to choose from. The naan was good but not great. The aloo gobi was tasty as was the shrimp tikki masala. The lamb korma sauce was delish but the lamb pieces were a little hit or miss with some tender but others a little harder or dry. Maybe another 10 minutes after our main dishes arrived, the steamed momo arrived. It was tasty and very layered with different flavors that I couldn't quite pinpoint. For dessert we got the kheer and mango kulfi which were unique. Without having a reference point for what a regular entree size is, it's kind of hard to say the cost value in the thali set for two, but if it's your first time and you want to try a a few things, it's probably worth it. I will be back to try the lunch specials next time.

It has a clean and bright dining room that seats at least 50 with a few odd pieces for decor (umbrellas and a spinning disco ball). The restaurant is advertised as Indian, Bangladeshi, and Pakistani. But the cuisine is just what we wanted. There was no lunch menu. So we ordered from the regular offerings. I wanted goat kadhai curry but since there was none listed, I settled for chicken kadhai curry. My cousin-in-law ordered chicken tikka masala. You have a choice of either rice or naan with your meal. We both had rice and got a side order of naan. We ordered mild because of my past experience with the food here being very peppery. We probably could have gone up a level, but the mild was flavorful and had a decent amount of spiciness. Both meals were good and boasted tender and well-seasoned chicken. I thought the kadhai was a bit oily, but it was still tasty. We loved the naan, especially dipped in the tamarind chutney that I requested. During the two hours that we dined, we were the only ones in the restaurant, so service was quick and attentive. Our meal was about $22 each including tax and tip. I hope to go back and try a few other dishes.
