I used to recommend friends and family to come here and I myself went every 3 weeks. However, I will be finding a new place to go. I have had a few fills where my nails just break. The last few times I've gone I have felt like the techs are just rushing, the price is never the same, even when all I do is a fill and color (no design). Today I went in and requested to get a new set since I had a thumb nail break and my other thumb was breaking. I was getting a new set. They couldn't find the color I requested, so I got a different one. The lady taking off my nails didn't even soak them, she just popped them off and it hurt. I winced and she said sorry followed by beauty is pain. (What...?) I then asked for my nails to be round (she did almond and asked if that was okay and while it wasn't what I asked for I said the shape was fine) I go to pay, expecting the $55 since it was a new set. I'm told my total is $70. They charged me $10 for a removal and $5 for my shape of which I didn't even ask for. Not to mention my nails have two that aren't even entirely colored (noticed this after leaving). I asked to see a price sheet and was informed they don't have one but I could go online. read more

I asked for a new set of nails instead of getting a refill. The nail tech not only was on her phone the whole time taking frequent breaks but she used a METAL SPATULA to PAINFULLY dig and pry each nail off. IT WAS SO PAINFUL! She never soaked them or tried to be gentle. Also every other customer was offered refreshments including the 2 ladies next to me who came in with a drinks of their own, except me. read more

The place is really pretty I will say that. I got my nails done and She told me to go wash my hand. I. Am back thinking she was going to do the lotion and typical massage I was wrong. Not only was I wrong but she say someone in my spot with all my stuff and was already on to the next person. I had a pedicure and manicure book for my husband and he got no manicure . They said it was not it was not in system and I even showed them my confirmation. Even after that they did not honor it. This was such a disappointment of a first time experience. $140 later and dissatisfied. It's. A shame because the nails look great but my experience, will keep me from ever going back read more

My BFF was visiting from San Diego and wanted to get her nails done. I usually go to the Palace Nails at Mesa Riverview, however, this location was closer to my friend's hotel. Side note, these locations are owned by different owners! I called around 3pm for an appointment at 4:30. We were running behind and made it in at 4:45. We checked in on the iPad and despite how busy it was, they seated us right away! Unfortunately my friend and I weren't able to sit next to each other due to the nail tech's stations :( I asked for a fill- $38- and showed the nail tech, Wendy, my nail inspo from Pinterest. She informed me the design on all my fingers would be $20 more. I can't remember if that's how much they charged for design last time (although this would be the Mesa Riverview location). $20 for 10 fingers seems steep, doesn't it? Wendy was great though! I asked for considerably shorter nails, nice and thin. Wendy mentioned several times the design wouldn't look as good as long but otherwise didn't press it. She took her time and ensured that I liked the shape and thickness each step of the way! Wendy did great free handing the design I showed her! Overall I am very pleased with how my nails turned out :) When we checked out they also gave us a punch card- 4 services and you get $4 off! read more

I just left there, got a pedicure. I was completely shocked when they gave me the price i owed for a pedicure. just myself nobody else. i had them double check the amount. it was 140.00 dollars, with the tip 175.00. I will never go back there. I guess I should have accepted the drink they offered. wow!! read more

My mom, sister and I went to palace nail lounge for the first time today and we won't be going back. We all got pedicures and all three of the nail techs were unnecessarily rough on our toes. My sister's experience being the worst--her big toenail is falling off due to running and even after telling the nail tech to stop 4-5 times, she continued to cut the toenail entirely in half while my sister was obviously wincing in pain. Because it took extra time to cut her toenail off and cover it up, her nail tech didn't do the massage or hot stones or any of the things of the listed services included in the pedicure we paid for. The most disappointing part, is that when we complained at the front desk, they didn't offer a discount or a coupon, they just apologized and offered to keep it noted in their notes to not have that specific nail tech do her nails the next time. I'm genuinely surprised at how busy and successful this nail salon appears to be based off of their poor performance on all of our pedicures. read more

I've been to this salon several times. I made a 12:30 appt and waited until 12:50, explaining that I made the appt due to a tight schedule. At 12:40 I told the hostess that if Paula could not do it, I would see anyone. Another lady came to me and said 10-15 more minutes. I said absolutely NOT, that my appointment was for 12:30. There were people coming in with NO appointment that were serviced before me. DON'T BE MONEY HUNGRY to whomever manages the salon. Quality timing and service needs your attention. I will not go back. read more

I came in earlier today for a acrylic soak off, Amy who did my nails ended up just picking them off with a nail tip not even filing them down, causing me a lot of pain even bleeding on my nail bed, then in learn as i'm paying that is costed $17. She also try to say that the reason i was bleeding is because my nail bed was so thin but is she removed them the correct way everything could have been avoided. read more

I had a terrible experience here. I went in for a predicure on November 25th at 5:30 pm. The prices are very high and as soon as I let the older lady (short with short black hair) know I wanted the essential pedicure (the cheapest one). Her attitude instantly changed and didn't talk to me any further and gave me a very lazy pedicure. She seemed like she was rushing. I felt very uncomfortable and wondered why she was treating me this way. When she finished the pedicure she grabbed my sandles I was wearing from the ground, and I thought she was going to set them in front of me for me to put them on like every other salon I've ever been to has for me!! But nope! She PUT THEM ON TOP OF MY FRESHLY PAINTED TOES! I was shocked and immediately took them off but she walked away so fast I couldn't even look at her. I should have not tipped her, but still did. Terrible service and over priced and I hope the employee learns from this to not treat people who don't want to pay over $100 for a simple predicure, like trash. read more

One of my really good friends comes here often. She bought me a gift card for my birthday to get a pedicure after I had my daughter 5 months ago. So today I was in dire need of a pedicure. My feet have been so neglected the past 5-6 months since my last pedicure. The last pedicure was here and was fine. They did a great job on my nails then! Today was a different story. Maybe since it was a crazy Saturday? We had an appt scheduled for 2PM this afternoon and i cannot remember the name of the lady that I had since she didn't make any conversation with me what so ever besides what service number and what color. Good thing I didn't ask for French tip since she even messed up on the color I asked for, never put on my sandals for me like she said she was going to help me with and lastly i feel like she was so busy running around like a chicken with her head cut off to even do a decent job with anything. The only thing she did decently was filing my nails. Everything hurt the water was so insanely hot, the list can go on and on. But the most annoying thing on top of my nail color not Making it or the choice of color SHE had chose for me was the fact she left my legs SO sticky. I've never once had a pedicure where i feel sticky from the scrub. I don't think I've ever had a bad of a technician as i had today. But i guess this is pretty common with this particular lady. My friend said she got her once and she basically picks out a color you didn't ask for. I don't want to argue or try and narrow something down. I think I'll just come with my own nail color from now on. So be warned. Hopefully you don't get her. read more

Lovely place and super friendly nail techs. They did an amazing job on my set and pedicure. I would love to do 4.5 stars. Only thing that wasn't awesome is the mani with the full set. I've been coming here for a year and the service has gotten progressively worse. I mad an appointment for 11:40 AM to which I was 10 minutes early to, checked in, picked by colors all that jazz. I noticed that several other appointments were going ahead of me. At around 11:55 AM I reminded the receptionist of my appointment, he assured me I was next. 15 people and 35 minutes later at 12:30 PM I informed them that I could no longer wait. The lady at the front desk gave me an apathetic "sorry" and canceled my appointment. Never again. Go here if you're don't value your time and have no self respect read more

Had a pedi appointment 3 hours ago, my toenails are still wet and all messed up from me walking around a house. I have a toddler and I can't wait half a day for my nails to dry. I just called a salon and I was told that nail polish dries up to 3 hours. Well it's been 3 hours and they are wet and messed up. Paint job also not the best. Denny started doing nails in the east coast for many years with family and friends. I Jenny moved to Arizona in 2000, and worked in Phoenix Metropolitan services under different managers different management different owners and different companies. Started a family business in Scottsdale Arizona. Started their own business in Scottsdale, Partnering with friends and family member in managing salons. I want to first and foremost say I did call the salon numerous times trying to get in touch with Michelle, and also messaged them on Instagram as they actively post on their regularly but have gotten nothing in return. I also want to start this post by prefacing that I have been a long Brazilian wax girly. Years. I've been loyal to EWC for years as I loved my waxer but hated their "wax pass" speech every time I walked past the place. I just moved to the area and GWB was recommended to me. #1: They use soft wax for Brazilians. Absolutely not. Anyone in industry knows that hard wax is much better for Brazilians. Again, I have been having this service done since I was maybe 21 years old, I am now 32, I wanted to come off the table to slap her it hurt so badly. #2: If youre planning on relaxing at all during your service, rest assured, you won't. You have to help the waxer with your own service to pull your skin taut leaving your hands covered in wax.. or maybe you'll get lucky like me and your waxer will cover your finger in wax. #3: She broke so much of my hair, missed multiple spots, including my butthole, and burned me. I left the appointment slightly sore, which is very normal. It wasn't until later that night when I showered I realized I was swollen. I had strips on my vagina that were red, raised, blistered and swollen. I used some calming cream I've used for years thinking I'll go away in the morning and it didn't. I went on my trip with hair (which then caused me to shave over the wax job.. so you can guess how bad my ingrowns were) I'm not sure if this is how they're trained, what they're being taught.. I'm not sure but I won't be back, unfortunately. I'd much rather give my money to a small local business rather than a huge corp like EWC but I guess I'll continue to search.

GOING DOWNHILL FAST!! My husband and I having been coming to Palace Nail Lounge since 2019 on a regular basis. Over the years, we have brought many friends and family members to this place. Whenever we have visitors from out of town, we bring them here. We've brought many local friends here as well, many of whom are now regulars in this salon. We are now a family of 4, to include my 87 year old mom and 21 year old niece, who visit this salon regularly for pedicures and manicures. Sadly, as their business has grown, the service has suffered greatly. In March, a few friends from high school, in town and out of town, got together for the weekend, and l booked our party of eight here for manicures and pedicures. During our pedicures, the owner/manager Denny brought around a game wheel to spin for prizes. All 7 of my guests won a prize. When I spun the wheel..."Not a winner." Denny moved onto the next guest. I thought this was odd customer service for a regular client who just brought them 8 pedis and 8 manis. Whatever. Later that weekend, an out of town guest handed me the coupon she had won for a #3 pedicure, since she couldn't use it. In August, our family of four was getting their regular pedicures, when my husband jokingly told his nail tech to tell my mom's nail tech to put a POOP EMOJI on my mom's big toe. Poor taste on his part? Absolutely. But without even asking the actual customer, the nail tech painted a POOP EMOJI on my 87 year old mom's toe. Unbelievable. Since she doesn't see that well, she thought she was getting a flower. When it was done, I explained what it was. The nail tech offered to remove it, but mom declined so as not to make a scene and stay longer to redo the whole nail. The nail tech disappeared, and we never saw her again. Instead, Denny offered to try to cover it up. Mom agreed, and he painted white polka dots over her big toe nail. Now we have a POOP EMOJI in a snow storm. At that point, mom was done, so we paid and left. Denny CHARGED HER FOR THE "NAIL ART," despite my comment that she should not be charged for that.We called the day before Labor Day and made appointments for 2 manicures and 4 pedicures on Labor Day. After setting the appointments by phone with one employee, Denny got on the phone and finalized the appointments, repeating back to me multiple times 2 manicures and 4 pedicures. When we arrive, one was taken for nails, and the other 3 of us for pedicures. And we waited. And waited. After about 25 minutes, I got up and asked about my manicure. It wasn't scheduled. His assistant/female manager asked if I could come back another day for the manicure because they were so busy. Um, no. That's why I made an appointment. When the nail techs show up to do our pedicures, I tell my tech I want the #3 pedicure and give her the coupon I got in March for the free #3. She didn't know what to do with it. None of them did. The assistant manager comes to the back and says "You get #4." "No, I just want #3." "You get #4." "No, I just want #3." "You get #4 and just pay the difference." "Fine, I'll do #4 and pay the difference." Mom got a pretty flower on her toe this time, and my husband's nail tech said, "No more POOP EMOJI." They remembered. When we went up front to check out, I handed Denny my coupon for the free #3. He responded with, "This is for a #3. You got a #4, so you cannot use this." WHAT???? I told him I asked multiple times for the #3, but his manager/assistant commanded me to get the #4 and pay the difference. They had a brief conversation with each other, I paid the difference, and we were on our way. Again, we discussed the POOP EMOJI on my mom's toe last time, that she shouldn't have to pay for her flower design this time. He rudely laughed, then CHARGED HER AGAIN for the nail art. This time the price for the "art" was even HIGHER than last time! Do they just make up prices as they go? As a side note, when you check in, they print a ticket for your service with two different prices, and it goes with you to your service station. Our tickets said #4 (with 2 different prices) before we were ever seated. Nobody asks what you want until they give you the menu in the back. They probably go with the service you got last time, but what's up with the two different prices on the ticket? My ticket had two prices, though they supposedly only booked me for one service. Then there's that darn "summer special." What a scam. None of the employees could even tell us what the "extras" were. But, we got charged for the summer special every time. Denny has asked us multiple times for a Google review. He does that when he makes his rounds through the salon, talking with clients. He'll even set up your phone, click 5 stars for you, before you comment and send. We won't be back again. Here's your review, Denny. This one's not worth the drive. Look elsewhere if you want good customer service. read more

Wonderful experience going to Palace nail lounge! The interior is beautifully thought out, spacious and lovely. Open floor plan, complimentary beverage from a wide variety of offerings, luxe massage chairs at pedicure stations. Granite topped Manicure stations add to the beauty of the space. Every aspect of the space was clean and organized. Beautiful chandeliers, music and water features make the space feel like a high end day spa. My technician, Tyhn was very attentive and meticulous. I felt every detail of my pedicure was done with care and he was very good about checking in with me throughout the service. I was very impressed and left feeling pampered and relaxed beside having beautiful nails. That being said...having managed a 5 star, luxury spa for 12 years, I would have to say this was the most enjoyable pedicure experience I have ever had. Thank you Palace Nail Lounge! read more

Palace Nail Lounge is heaven sent. Their staff is always so sweet and they do such an amazing job. I've always been insecure about getting pedicures because of an incident at work that damaged my two big toe nails a few years ago. The discoloration and breakage of the nails constantly over the years made me quick to hide my feet. I would go to other salons but it seemed like the integrity of my nails was declining even more. But Palace has been my saving grace. They didn't make me feel embarrassed. Instead they have helped me find confidence again during the process. And my damaged nails have grown more in the last year of coming to Palace Nails, than they did in the 3 years of going to other nail spots. Truly grateful for your staff. read more
