After a 12hour drive from Austin, Tx and arriving close to midnight, the hotel management was extremely accommodating. Sending instructions via text and after hours access to our check-in documentation made everything smooth and easy. We were charmed the next morning by the manager and chef personally delivering delicious breakfast (that we hand selected the night before) to our room. We could not have asked for a better stay. Not to mention on the room was great! Will be staying here anytime we are in the area. Thanks for everything!

Follow a serene drive through decades old cottonwoods, and you'll find yourself in the quiet tranquility of Palacio de Marquesa. Lauren will greet you with a warm smile, as she hands you the keys and educates you on the facility. The small details of this B&B are pleasing, and the wild flowers unfurling from their winter slumber are a dash of sunshine in the community garden. The rooms are simply wonderful and bright, all dedicated to fabulous historical women of Taos. Waking up to birds chirping, fresh air, and the coziness of the sheets, in front of the wild garden, is second to none. The breakfast was one of the best meals I've had away from home in a very long time, though I would have preferred the staff didn't ask for the breakfast basket prior to our departure. This is a place I will return as often as I can.

The Palacio is THE "must-visit" B+B in Taos that will steep you in beauty, history and the rich stories of the women artists of Taos - along with wonderful service and comfort provided by the manager Asia and her amazing team. The Palacio is a perfect landing place to discover the treasures of Taos. The property is charming and elegant - charged with delightful, layered gardens from every vantage point. The eight rooms are themed with the early artists of Taos - Mabel Dodge, Agnes Martin, Dorothy Brett, Millicent Rogers, Gene Kloss, Martha Reed and our room - Georgia O'Keefe. The massive cottonwoods that surround and cover the property provide a cool, powerful and enchanting feeling to the place. Lauren greeted us upon our arrival, with a great welcome and introduction to the B+B and the town. Our 'Icon' room was a very romantic room - well appointed with Georgia O'Keeffe theme, a majestic four poster bed with the signature silver steer head in the center, a romantic faux-fireplace, a large bath with marble floors, large screen TV, fast WiFi and the most beautiful garden outside our room. We had a breakfast delivered to our garden table (you can dine in the main room as well) - amazing french-press coffee, the most delicious fritatta ever (order this !!) and a fruit bowl with fresh mint sprinkled on top. Asia provided some great guidance on where to go, what to see in our limited 2-day stay - and she knows her stuff, has a great team, is very thoughtful and quite delightful to speak with. The rooms make an interesting spot for small groups of travelers, there are two rooms that share a private patio, a four (I think) rooms that share a delightful garden and fire pit/fountain and the rest are single rooms with a private garden. As an aside, we traveled here from Trinidad on our way to Santa Fe in our electric vehicle (Tesla), and while it appears a mile-sapping trip - we made it with miles to spare, and Asia allowed us easy access to 110V charging, and is now looking into regular EV charging capability. This place is part of a Heritage B+B collection, which offers guests a 15% discount at certain places in Taos. One of two B+B's west of the Mississippi we have ever been to. We will be back!

Highly, highly recommend…read more Alena was such a great contribution to our planning and execution of our wonderful wedding day. We are so grateful for her professionalism and experience, as she organized all of the vendors and kept our wedding on a timeline. Not only is she a great wedding planner, but she genuinely was excited for us and shared in our love and joy for the months leading up to our event. It is obvious how much Alena loves her job. I hope she is able to continue to grow her business and share her skills with many more couples for years and years to come. Thank you Alena!!!!

Alena is extraordinary. Absolutely top notch - she is a total cut above the rest! I run anxious and…read moreI was incredibly worried about everything going well (after having lost my first wedding venue in California and needing to put together a totally new wedding in NM in 5 months, I was especially concerned). Since I live in CA, I was working with Alena remotely, which could have caused problems with someone less capable. No problems at all with Alena, her work was A+. Not only was I able to 100% trust Alena with all of my worries and details, but she went above and beyond in every way during my wedding in Santa Fe in August. She will have every detail that is important to you in her brain day of, and make sure that it happens precisely as you want it to happen. She will solve problems before they even get to you. She will be a shepherd to you and your spouse on your big day - not pushy, but not a pushover. There in exactly the way you need her. She knows her craft, and she executes like the expert she is. She is worth every single penny and more. She has a calming, but kickass presence that will complement you in whatever way your personality type needs. Her organizational skills and professional demeanor truly impressed us during the whole lead up to the wedding and the day of. She managed all of our vendors with elegance, but a get-it-done attitude as well, and they had great things to say about her to us as well. I wish I lived in New Mexico so I could work with Alena on more events. She is unbelievable. Hiring her was the best decision of our entire wedding - and my husband and I say that every time we reminisce about our big day. She made it even better than I imagined...which I did not think was possible!!
