The installers were out of Fort Meyers and though overall I was pleased with the quality of their work, they arrived 5 hours late for the after-inspection clean up/ caulking because their schedule was so jammed. I had to wait- I had to call- no one advised me they would be late. The dispatcher was clueless. You would think someone could pick up the phone to return a call but everyone is too busy. Also if you are planning to use MySafe Florida Home, they are absolutely zero help with that. Quite disappointing. I wish I had researched this a bit more and got a locally based company instead.

They are not responsible for damage and repairs caused by installation. The stucco around the outside of the windows is damaged and can be seen from across the street. The estimate to repair the damage by stucco company is $1400. There is also a serious lack of communication by all the different parties involved. The total install time was less than 2 days, and everyone was friendly, efficient, and professional. To begin with, Heath will be your consultant, measure and give you estimates, talk about color options, etc.. We went with dark bronze, which is a very rich dark brown (almost black). Heath is so great at answering questions and getting back to you promptly. He made the process very pleasant and stress free. Once the decision is made, the measurements will be double-checked by another person, and doors/windows will be ordered. They will work with HOAs and will do all the permitting and inspection scheduling. On the day of the inspection, you will have someone come early,make sure all is good, and then once the approval is done, finish all the details like capping screws etc Johnny and his son John were absolutely fantastic, so friendly, extremely thorough, and went through everything twice and more Any concern was addressed, and they literally took all the time needed to make sure everything was perfect. Some info: - Plan ahead as it took about 3 months for everything to be custom-made, so don't expect a fast turnaround - You will have a little out of pocket cost for fixing parts that are a result of changing old doors like tile or stucco repair (like if the old door was too big and the old tiles didn't go all the way). This review is based solely on my personal experience and interaction with Prestige…read more My experience: When the windows were delivered on November 15, 2024, I was unable to reject the delivery as I was informed verbally, and they confirmed in writing, that the windows first "needed to be installed" before any inspection could take place. Per the contract terms, I was required to make the payments due at each stage -- including the delivery day payment, which brought my total paid to 90% of the $24,378.89 -- or face financial and legal consequences. FDACS public records: On March 2, 2026 I filed a consumer complaint with FDACS, State Consumer Mediator. Last week, on April 28, 2026, Prestige stated to the FDACS Mediator that I had: "inspected, accepted, paid for (in full), and permitted full installation of the product. No timely rejection occurred under the contract terms." BBB public record: However, 7 months earlier under the BBB complaint filed June 30, 2025, Prestige stated in a response on August 11, 2025: "When the client tried to 'reject the delivery', we called the manufacturer and they told us the windows had to be installed for them to look at them." I will now be taking the next legal step, supported by the detailed documentation I have compiled from Prestige's statements, responses and interactions over the past 18 months. My suggestion: Read the full complaints from the BBB (7/30/2025) and the FDACS (3/02/2026) which you can request to view at no cost. Based on the information in those documents and my experience, you can decide whether this is the right company for your project. In the meantime, see the photo of the windows that I get to look at every day, which shows four distinct multi colors (bright silver, light gray, medium gray and dark gray) visible from 30 feet away. Installation was done on 11/10/2025. We made the installers aware that the slider doors were NOT the correct configuration. Installer said they could be replaced. We have telephoned and telephoned. Most times we get voice messaging and never get a call back. Any time we have talked to someone they tell us the replacement slider(s) are on order. It has become obvious they are NOT on order and we are being lied to. Mark H (last name withheld) (Salesman) and Steve C (last name withheld) (Final Measure Technician) have both confirmed the slider(s) are NOT the correct configuration. After trying to deal with several people representing BNT Impact Windows & Doors we were passed (once again passed on to someone else) on to Ray P (last name withheld) . He also told us (4-5 weeks ago) that the doors are on order. We have gotten one text message from him after we texted him first. We have heard NOTHING from him since he last told us the replacement slider(s) doors are on order. It has been almost ONE YEAR since we initially placed our order for windows and slider doors. There has also NOT been a formal county safety inspection! There are also voids in one door that allow lizards and bugs to enter our home. See Pictures. NO MORE PROMISES AND EXCUSES! NO ONE from 'Installation' ever contacted us. We now know that we were being LIED to by everyone we were handed off to. To rectify our situation another window installation contractor will be engaged. The building permit has expired because BNT Impact Windows & Doors delayed, lied and misled us running out the clock. Many customers' money was stolen by someone at BNT Impact Windows & Doors. The company has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy and may be looking for financial backing to remain in business. The company should be allowed to fail and those responsible should be charged in a court and if convicted sentenced to an appropriate amount of jail time. Customers have had thousands of dollars stolen from them. Anyone who has been caught in this scam should seek legal advice and hopefully a criminal indictment will be issued against the perpetrators.
