There was no wait to get a table. It's a nice clean casual place. Great murals in the back walls. Large tv screens to view sports. We ordered Shrimp ceviche and the salmon plate. The shrimp was fresh. We enjoyed the ceviche. The salmon was nicely presented but a little too much sauce for my liking. The sauce had a nice little kick to it. Nice combination, salmon and sauce, on the bed of mashed potatoes and a serving of carrots and broccoli. I wish I took a better pic of the salmon. Last time I was here it was very busy (weekday brunch). Today (Sunday dinner) there was no crowd and it was hard to ask the waitress for something because she would disappear for long periods. When she resurfaced she'd check in. Nonetheless, the staff were pleasant. Rogelio was friendly and told us they will be having weekday specials in the next month. Our first visit was amazing--the food and service were both excellent. We were told that brunch was also a great experience, so we decided to come back. We drove an hour specifically to visit again. When we arrived, the gentleman at the front asked if we had a reservation. We didn't, and he told us the wait would be about 20-30 minutes, which we were completely fine with. While waiting in our car, I was able to make a reservation online. We came back inside and let him know, but instead of trying to help, he immediately had an attitude and told us that it wasn't a reservation and that we had simply been placed on the waitlist. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of empathy or effort to assist us. The restaurant was at least half empty, and it felt like there was no willingness to accommodate us or even try to find a solution. Regardless, we decided to wait. After nearly an hour--or possibly longer--we found out that we had actually been removed from the waiting list altogether. After driving an hour and patiently waiting, this was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Unfortunately, what should have been another great experience turned into one of the worst customer service experiences we've had. The food may be great, but customer service and the way guests are treated matter just as much. We left feeling completely disregarded and disappointed. read more

This restaurant is in a shopping center, near downtown area. It is right next to a starter bros, plenty of parking. The sign is easy to spot. I came for Sunday brunch around 11am. There were groups of people waiting outside. I went in to check in with the host. Since we were only 2, we were seated right away. Inside, there the restaurant was filled, almost every table was taken. There was live music, two musicians, a singer and a guitar player. The live music, while nice, was very loud and it's very hard to hear someone and have a conversation. There a a lady who is constantly making freshly handmade tortillas. She gave us tortillas even though we hadn't ordered anything yet, which I thought was funny. Im not sure if the live music is everyday or just the weekend. The waiters always periodically came to check in. They were so nice and friendly. Our food came out in 15 minutes. I chose the huevos rancheros and a mimosa. My friend got the chorizo con papas plate with cafe de olla. The presentation was good and it was so good! I loved my mimosa. My friend thought her food was great too. Total came out to $59. The salad was just lettuce with guacamole on top of it. They have 3 salas red (hot) ok, green cream like (mild) really liked and verde (not hot) really like as well.
