The breakfast burritos were so good--perfectly cooked eggs, flavorful potatoes, and everything wrapped in a warm tortilla that just hits right. The salsa took it to another level. And the café de olla... wow. Smooth, slightly sweet, with that hint of cinnamon--so authentic. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.

Today, I ate there for the first time. The venue was spacious with attractive decor etc. I had soft shell Baja style fish taco lunch plate and it customized with no cheese and sour cream. The complimentary salsa and chips were delicious. They played Spanish music videos of different genres like cumbia, reggaeton, pop, and baladas. Martha, the server, was friendly and hospitable.

Eaten here a few times. Have always had great service. Food is yummy and fresh. Really love their chips and salsa. Have had the tacos, shrimp Diablo, and recently got a shrimp cocktail for takeout. Good amount of shrimp and good flavor. Came with crackers, limes, and packets of tapatio.

Came here for lunch and got me the 2 baja fish tacos combination with rice and beans. It's on their lunch menu side. Those baja tacos were huge and delicious! Service was good and inside very nice decor. They also give chips and salsa once your seated. Not many places still do that!

Every time I come here I always feel like I need to write a review because the food here is so good. I got the mixed fajitas this time and a salad and they were delicious! And i love their house salsa, i'd say medium-hot but We enjoyed everything we ordered.

    Margaritas

Came here on Mother's day, the food was good the aesthetic was pleasing and the waiters were attentive but you can feel that they are trying to cut some corners and in a way downgrades the place. The strawberry margarita tasted like pure syrup no alcohol, my mom who got the same thing said the same although the small flower on it was a cute touch. My father paid the whole bill for seven adults, a tip was automatically added to the bill. When my father paid he did not notice it had already been added so a double tip was charged, an extra $35.00. I am not sure if the cashier noticed this but I will give her the benefit of the doubt. My father had to go in person to ask for the extra tip to be refunded, the gentlemen that works there said that it could not be done and in a polite way basically said too bad. When my father told them that this was unethical and he would put a stop to the payment then they gave him the second tip back in cash. The food was good but I would not go back due to the fact that tips are automatically added and it is a tiny bit overpriced.

Molcajete Plate with Rice and Beans

Stopped by with my family to celebrate a graduation here because I saw a video online that really hyped this place up. When I arrived I noticed the location was really empty, despite it being open already for a few hours. I did not question that at the time. At the time, the quietness only helped the ambiance. I placed all of orders and our orders started coming out one by one. Some plates took a little longer than others due to the difficulty of the dish, which is understandable. I got the carne asada plate which had carne asada, rice, beans, and a salad. I was not a fan of their rice and beans. I am used to my rice having a lot of flavor and this rice was unfortunately very lacking in flavor. The rice was white rice with carrots. The beans also had zero flavor. The carne asada was the only saving part of my dish. It was decent. My mom got the Molcajete and honestly the best part of her dish was only the spicy shrimp (Camarones a la Diabla). It was the only meat option that was full of flavor. Service wise, I was not a fan of all the upselling. I understand this is a for-profit business but the waitress kept offering all of the guests more expensive drink options the whole time, including bottled soda and alcoholic options. Of course my guests accepted and it only kept increasing our bill. I unfortunately would not be returning here again unless I was invited here by a family member for a special occasion.

They also had festive decor up for the World Cup, which was playing on the TVs and added a great energy to the room. The service was awesome! Our server was incredibly friendly and spoke to us like we'd been friends for years. She was so cool. We ended up staying for hours just enjoying the vibe of the brunch crowd and the soccer fans. Food & Drinks: LOVED! The Mimosa Flight (~$9 per drink): We shared this between two people and it comes with 8 different flavors! It included peach, pineapple, strawberry, cranberry, orange, pomegranate, and I think mango (can't remember the last one, sorry!). I love that the glasses were actually filled. I watched them make them, and it's a majority of champagne with just a splash of juice. Chilaquiles: This has become my absolute favorite breakfast dish lately, so I try it everywhere. It was very yummy here! It comes with eggs, and I added steak for some extra protein. The presentation was beautiful, too. Highly recommend! Steak & Eggs: My friend ordered a dish that had a different name on the menu, but it was essentially steak and eggs. She said it was absolutely delicious. The bathroom was clean, and I noticed they have a changing table available as well, which is always a great plus. Overall, I had a really good time eating, drinking, and talking here. I will definitely be back!

It's because of this I got very familiar with Swedish Crepes or Pancakes, as some might call them. I don't know if they were ever my favorite style of pancakes but they were always an option on those rare occasions I wanted something with more fruit than blueberry. Tara always appreciated me making an effort to broaden my perspective on what a good pancake or crepe constituted. That being said, I hardly ever run into great Swedish crepes. Usually the butter or compote is sub-standard, and I usually feel like I should've gotten something different. Silver Dollar Pancake House makes some majestic Swedish crepes. Yes, it's more of a cranberry than a lingonberry, but otherwise the compote and Swedish butter are spot-on. The crepes came out nice and thin, but still super flavorful. Everything came together so great. Even the fact the special comes with six sausages after you switch out the bacon is amazing. I would get this deal over and over again. The service at the counter was frenzied and focused. Every time I needed my coffee refilled, the server was on it. The food came quickly and there were frequent check-ins. It's literally everything you could want in customer service at a counter. Yes, the ambiance is bit crowded and a bit hectic. I don't envy trying to get a seat in the dining room because everything is but cramped up in there. That being said, I don't think anyone waited longer than fifteen minutes and folks seemed genuinely glad to be there. It's the price you pay for eating at a popular breakfast spot with breakfast entrees this delicious. Plus, eating at the counter always seemed open. And from someone who hates eating at counters most of the time, that's saying a lot that I would suggest it as a viable option. Overall, this is the dream place for those like Tara who can't get enough of pancakes and a damn good option for those like me who are content to keep their amateur status intact by only occasionally indulging in the Swedish signature dish.
